I've had my MOAB's for three years living in Interior Alaska. They been through blue berry bogs, salmon rivers, and major landscaping projects on my property and still going strong!

Best boot I ever had

Very happy with my purchase: comfort right out of the box with barely any breaking in to do. The boot is light and flexible, water resistant. Also really happy with the width: I own the boot in both regular width and wide width, they both work but the wide works better for my feet.

I have been wearing Merrell Moab boots as my light hiker for over 10 years. They fit my feet very well. I wish that in the ventilator model, Merrell would bring back the grey color as the current selection of colors is limited.

I work on a concrete surface and good boots are a must. These came in a wide size and fit great. They are light, provide good ankle support and the footbed is very comfortable.

I wear these boots for work. I am on my feet 8 hors a day all week. My job is extremely physical; a lot of running around, lifting etc They.keep my feet dry and cool considering my work environment is over 90 at times in the summer months ( I also wear a moisture wicking sock, not Merrell brand) Had them a couple of weeks now. Very happy with my purchase..

I have high arches and wide feet. The Merrell wide hikers fit perfectly every time. They are definitely the most comfortable shoe right out of the box, but they get even more comfortable while maintaining great support after they have a little mileage.

I purchased these hiking boots for more ankle support compared to my low Merrell hiking shoes. The boots are super lightweight and comfortable. I ordered wide and they have plenty of toe room. I am very pleased with this purchases.

I wore this boot for the first time on a 12 mile hike and they did not even need to be broken in! So comfortable! We went through some shallow water on the hike and the boot seemed to hold up pretty well for not being waterproof. They dried fully very easily. The boot itself has a little more room in the toe than I expected. I ordered a 9.5 and probably could have gone with a 9, but I like my shoes snug fitting. I have not had them long, but I am hoping they hold up for awhile! Great boot!

I love that this boot is ready to go on hike without having to break them in.

Very comfortable fit. Did not even have to break them in. Nice arch support.

This is my second pair of the exact same hiking mid. These keep my feet secure when hiking or just walking. As the title says: Ventilator...No sweaty feet and super comfort!

Ordered a half size larger than street shoes plus wide and they fit good. I hike in a park next door rough terrain boots give me excellent traction. They really were comfortable out of the box!

It has great arch support, great ankle support, and great fit. I was happy that this shoe came in a wide option because other hiking boots tend to be too narrow for me and my toes always end up going numb. The only thing is that the ankle support is a little rounded on the top so it was rubbing into the back of my ankle. My feet have gotten used to it, but it hurt for a bit.

Best hiking shoes I've ever owned. They're sturdy but not heavy, very comfortable, and have great traction on muddy trails.

These are great, they keep my feet warm but not sweaty, and very comfortable right out of the box. Very very happy!

Got the boots online right before a weekend trip, hiked 10 miles with a 2,000 gain and for 3 days straight with no complains! Have to test them a bit further but so far so good. Since I ordered online didn't have the chance to try the wide vs regular fit but my feet (which I would define as small but chunky) felt comfortable in them. Not too roomy nor too tight.

With my size I cannot get Men's boots in USA - the smallest (M size 7) is too big for me, that's why I go with Women's. I got both versions - Vent and WP Mid Moab 2 boots (W size 7 Wide) because they are amazing, like moccasins inside, with great support and grip though. Vent is a little more breathable, though I have not yet compared them in really hot environment. From my experience, no other brands provide really wide toe box (I tried several) - only Merrell. Low Moab 2 (size 7 Wide) didn't work for me with different hot spots, Mid is just right. I use quarter socks with them though micro crew and mini heights worked too, different cushion from UL to Light and always silk liners. I got Taupe color which perfectly fits khaki and sand color shorts when conditions are dry, I like it. It's a rare light color for hiking boots - thanks to Merrell designers. I am happy and still cannot believe that I finally got most comfortable hiking boots in my life! Zamberlans (women's as well) were my backpacking boots for rough trails and harsh conditions, but Merrell is my brand now!

Comfortable as fits as expected.

This is not my first pair of Merrell boots. Can always depend on quality and fit.

My new "go to" boot for everything to do with hiking, or just walking the dog. Warm but not hot, finally wide enough and room for toes going downhill. They have arch support that helps fatigue on longer treks. I'm very pleased and looking forward to hiking.

These boots are warm and comfortable. I am outside on my feet for many hours of the day in cold weather. They are the perfect boots for the weather conditions I am in. They are also good for wearing with a casual outfit because my feet don't get too hot. I recommend these boots 100 %!!

This totally comfortable boot fits true to size, is very light weight and supportive. I liked my first pair so much I ordered a second pair!

I love Merrell footwear! Its the only boots I use for work or outdoor activity. Always same size - no issues there!
