I ordered these last year & waited to leave a review until I wore them hiking. These boots are great. Love the weight of them and they have great ankle support. I did order a half size up, which I would recommend only because I sometimes wear heavy socks with them.

Took them on some steep trails including Angels Landing in Zion. Worked great to support ankles, especially in rocky terrain. Decided to purchase the vent instead of waterproof and my feet never felt hot, even in Moab.

I am an "older" volunteer at a therapeutic horseback riding program. I have found that ankle support greatly improves my comfort doing this. However, my leather winter boots became too hot as the weather improved. So, I ordered these and mostly that's how I use them, but as time goes on I'm sure I'll find other occasions to wear them.

Last year I walked 1095 miles in these boots and the year before that. I walk on gravel, pavers and asphalt at FarWest Garden Center in Boise, Idaho. Happy feet make for good customer service!

I have a plantar nodule in the arch of my foot which causes quite a bit of pain. As I was headed out to The Badlands/Black Hills in South Dakota, I needed a good hiking shoe.
Superb is not good enough. I wore these shoes for 8 hours of hiking the first time I wore them and no pain at all. Since my return I have purchased a pair of sneakers for everyday use.

These boots provide the fit and support needed and are very comfortable. They were bought for an upcoming trip to Utah. Many boots were tried on, but these felt the best and provide the support needed for many miles of hiking. I highly recommend this boot for fit, durability & cost.

These felt a tad big at first but I didn't have time to order a different pair. Once I had on wool socks they were perfect. I did a 7 mile hike in the Grand Canyon without breaking them in and I didn't have a single blister or any foot pain!

Read the reviews and went up half a size added a wide width option and wore the out of the box. These boots came through! No break in period, super comfy and stable with ankle support. Hiked up fairly rocky paths and didn’t feel like I was going to end up rolling down the hill. These are everything the hundreds of reviews said!

I don't know how Merrell does it, but these boots are just as comfortable right out of the box as my other Moabs. I will never wear any other hiking boots than Moabs. They are the best boots ever!!!!!

These seem a bit longer than I am used to in my size, but the shoe is designed well enough that a little toe room doesn't impact your gait.
I've only had these out once on gravel/sand and a few times on blacktop, but probably 10 miles total.
This is like wearing pillows around your feet! I haven't had any hot spots or blisters yet, and I don't notice any areas inside the shoe where I'll likely get them.
The laces are very strong and have a nice grip to them, and the soles are well treaded without feeling like cleats.
The only thing that got a little uncomfortable was my high ankle rubbing on the top of the shoe when I had the laces done all the way up, and only then after the first two hours or so. Didn't have the same annoyance when I left the laces off the top hooks.

Took these on some long hikes at Canyonlands and Arches National Parks without breaking them in at all. They were phenomenal!!! I wore wool socks, which probably provided a little more padding than normal socks, but my feet weren't sore at all. These boots are so comfortable, easy to take on and off, and grip super well- I walked up and down a lot of smooth rocks and didn't slip at all. Full disclosure- I don't have particularly wide feet, so I can't speak to their comfortability for wide feet. 10/10, recommending these to everyone I know!

I purchased my Moab 2 Ventilator boots on recommendation from one of our Sheriff Deputies. I walk my shepherd/husky Sam every day on a path. I was rolling my ankles and ever since I put my new boots on, my feet feel wonderful! I am also an EMT and need comfortable and sturdy boots. I highly recommend Merrel to everyone!

I put these boots on right out of the box...
I have had them about 2yesrs... I live on a farm. I wear them ALL the time....They haven't hurt my feet yet... And I have very temperamental feet LOL I highly recommend them . They are still in excellent shape..
