These boots were comfortable the first time I wore them. They handle rocks, mud and sand with ease. They are warm for summer but looking forward to cold weather and lots of time at Joshua Tree National Park. And they have purple on them.

I love these hiking boots. Yhey feel great, fit p er rfectly, and i wear them every day for 2 miles or so walking on a freind's farm up and diwn rocky ravines, over meadows and gravel roads. Love 'em.

I am an outdoor photographer that loses track of my footing at times. These keep my ankles and feet secure while I'm out wandering. I have stepped wrong while capturing shots and these boots have kept me from really twisting my ankles. They help me when the ground is damp and slippery.

This boot is very lightweight. Went on a light 3 mile hike feet where very happy from start to finish.

I've worn this shoe for years. It fits like a glove and it's performance never fails. It takes a long time to show wear but when it does I buy another one. Best shoe ever for hiking any trail.

I had a hiking trip planned to Pictured Rocks in Michigan, but had to have ankle surgery 4 mos before our trip. My doctor said I could hike if I had good hiking boots & wore my ankle brace over them. I purchased these online & they were perfect. They fit true to size & were so comfortable as well as supportive. We hiked over 16miles & my feet/ankle did fine. I did spray my boots with camp dry & that helped waterproof them for going through creeks. Very happy with this purchase & would highly recommend to others.

These boots are so comfortable right out of the box. I didn't think I'd ever find a pair I liked better than the ones I sadly left behind in a dumpster at Bandolier Nat'l Monument last year (they finally fell apart) after many years and thousands of miles of hiking. But the fit and support on these Merrells is excellent. Plus, they just look great! I am extremely happy with this purchase and looking forward to putting them to the test in Canyonlands, Cedar Mesa, Bears Ears and the San Juans next month. Thanks for making such a great boot!

These are great for my wide feet and hammer toes! My ankles tend to roll so the high top support is amazing. I took them to Point Reyes . As my feet swelled they still had plenty of room and stay comfortable the entire time. My troublesome feet thank you!

I sprained my ankle 3 months ago so I needed a boot with higher ankle support. This boot is so great! It fits me really well, very sturdy and comfortable. For a light/medium boot with ankle support, I highly, highly recommend. We hiked 4-6 miles everyday for a week on the trails out of Mammoth Lakes, Ca.

This is my second pair of Moab 2's. The first pair are worn out! These boots fit my feet so well that I won't wear anything else. Me and my Merrell's are going hiking in West Virginia soon.

I have been using the Moab 2 Mid Ventilator for years. One pair wears out, and I start using a new pair. I recently wore my old ones for 4 days of hiking in Yosemite, and now it's time to wear the new ones. I wear them for both short and long walks, pretty much whenever I leave the house.

I bought these boots for doing chores and some hiking. I like these boots. I've worn them with thin, medium and thick socks and the boots are great with all of them. I have plenty of room for my toes, and I haven't felt the need to insert my aftermarket insoles. I'm already thinking about buying another pair.

Most comfortable hiking boots EVER. I actually got these for work because I needed something I could wear that could withstand the many obstacles I face: Water, climbing ladders, slippery floors, my favorite is that Ive gotten every kind of chemical/ gunk on them and they still look like new?! I may buy another pair just to have at home! I love them THAT much.

As other buyers previously wrote, there is no break in time-they fit well right from the start. There wasn't enough cushion for me so I've added gel support.

Took my Merrill's out to Page, AZ. Worked took me out west and these boots held their end of the bargain. I didn't want to take them off.

Comfortable and supportable on a variety of surfaces. Working in a barn all day, I needed something with arch support and these delivered.

I love that this comes in a wide width, it is breathable and really works for long hikes. I was struggling in the summer heat with my waterproof boots because of sweat, my socks were drenched. This boot helps so much. It has become my go-to boot for the warmer weather!

I was on the fence about needing hiking boots for an upcoming trip to a national park area. SO very glad I got these! I don't want to have to deal with blisters, and these are incredibly comfortable! The laces allow for perfect adjustment for width. You will not need to size up either. I got an 8.5, my usual size, and there is extra room in them. I felt like even just putting them on, my feet felt better! Thank you Merrell!!

Wore them to hike 11 miles through Joshua Treestraight out of the box. They fit great and caused no discomfort!
