These shoes have never failed me !! I have bought several pairs of them and will continue to buy them .

These shoes are so comfy and have tons of support. I love them for hiking, but just wearing them throughout the day for walking is perfect too. They last a few years with heavy use and i really like that they come with purple accents, my favorite color. Also, I wore these when i hiked the Narrows at Zion (hiking through a river) and it gripped the rocks. I had an amazing time and these shoes are a huge part of that :)

My 14 year old likes these. Very comfortable to hike in and not too hot. He is particular about fit and textures so this was a good find.

Moab 2 Mid Ventilator is very comfortable, not too heavy.

I read reviews before I bought and it's true they are comfortable right out of the box. No breaking in needed. Love these!

Went for a pretty strenuous hike right out of the box and was impressed with the grip on a steep trail. My feet were the only part of me that weren't hurting!

I bought this boot because of the other Merrell hikers I own. They are the most comfortable and supportive shoe that I can wear.

First I'd like to say - I'm no "hiking shoe connoisseur". I usually just wear any pair of cheap old boots I have. But I planned a pretty big hiking trip over the winter so I invested in a super comfy insulated pair that were wayyy too warm for fall hiking around where I live. (Midwest) so I bought this pair and they're just as comfortable as the other pair. Not only are they comfortable but I feel so much more sure-footed in both pairs than when I wear my regular old tennies. I feel like I'll never spend money on any other brand of shoe/boot. I want to get a casual pair too because the hikers are SO comfy! I do wish the purple accents on these were teal or coral or something other than purple. But I'll deal. (:

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, right out of the box!

Didn't need to break in at all. Been on small hikes and 5-hour ones without any problems. I can also comfortable fit my orthotics in themhuge plus. Highly recommend.

These were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I've hiked several strenuous trails with them and they are still comfortable.

Against my better judgement, I wore them right out of the box on a hike, and they were comfortable the entire time. Well worth the cost.

Great boots! Had a ankle-high pair of Merrels I wore religiously for two years and built a house in, now have these and love them, too. Really comfy on wide feet.

Loved these boots! Took them on a trip to glacier NP first time wearing them and right on a hike! No need to break them in, super comfy, good support, and as someone who trips quite a bit they have great traction!!! Very pleased with my purchase!!

I bought the hikers and took them for a 3 miler with no breakin issues. Went hiking in the Grand Tetons shortly after and love these boots. Typically I have sore arches until my feet adjust. Not with these! I love them!

I am now wearing my 9th pair of Moab 2 Ventilators. They are always comfortable right out of the box. My last pair is still comfortable after 800+ miles, though the traction has almost worn off the soles. They have taken me to the bottom of the Grand Canyon 11 times, to Machu Picchu, hiking the West Highland Way in Scotland, and on the Camino de Santiago in Spain.
