Moabs are amazing shoes. I bought my first pair in 2013 and have worn them 4 or more days a week since because they are so comfortable. The only weak point was the laces, they got frayed after a few years, but Merrell customer service sent me replacements (color wasn't a perfect match but close enough). I bought this new pair because the soles on the first pair are showing wear, but they still have enough tread to be usable. I also got a third pair in a different color. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Stylish and lightweight. But the arches are too high so it hurts the middle of my foot. Or I guess I just have flat feet? I might be the only person who doesn't love them.

I have wide feet so for hiking boots, I buy men’s as they run wider than women’s. These were purchased to replace my 4 yo Merrells. As with my old worn out ones, they fit well right out of the box. No break in issues. I wear silk sock liners and wool hiking socks. I would recommend to anyone who hikes.

I bought these shoes for my boyfriend who said they were incredibly comfortable right out of the box. He said he could feel they had great support and will be great shoes for hiking in. However, the soles squeaked when he walked -- I have two other pairs of shoes that also squeak like that but only after they had gotten wet, then dried out, and then sat for several months before next use. When he took the insole out to inspect and try putting in orthotic insoles, it became apparent that the boots were a return. The underside of the insoles had multiple embedded foxtails in them. Zappos either knew they were returns and sold them as new or they did not inspect a return from another buyer who claimed they did not wear them but obviously had -- which would mean Zappos did not inspect the shoes fully before putting them back out for sale as new. The shoes were so comfortable, he decided to keep them rather than go through the hassle of returning them, but it took some time to remove the embedded foxtails.

Comfortable shoes to go camping and hiking it. Great color too!

Haven’t taken them out on a hike yet but they are very comfortable right out of the box! Was worried because my feet usually are between a 10 and 10.5, and was also concerned that the medium width wouldn’t be wide enough, but the size 10M I got fit great! A bit roomy around my toes which is nice!

I have worn Merrells in the past when I was younger being an avid outdoorsman. I have always loved Vibram soles dating back to 88’ Alpine Warrior cold weather survival where I purchased a pair of Matterhorn Cold Weather boots. Being a Marine I understand the need for comfortable footwear especially now that I’m in my 50’s. I have had my feet and ankles broken both knees have no more cartilage to remove, my feet have residual damage and I am a lineman. I work everyday but Sunday, 4 days I spend up and down poles and walking miles the other 2 I spend at my 12 acre farm doing whatever needs doing. I can vouch for the comfort and fit, and expect them to have a good service life knowing the company also makes Wolverines which I own several pairs of. I am 6 foot 250lbs built like a linebacker, my experiential knowledge as a Grunt in the Corps growing up on the farm, and being a Scout should leave nothing to question. Hope this helps.

My feet are pretty normal size 12 but sometimes, size 12 is tight...my right foot is probably 12+. normal width. These boots fit great! I ordered a 12 wide hoping to find a balance and they fit beautifully! The slight extra width might just make the difference though my foot width is normal. I hike in the forest and the desert with my dogs, generally carrying a day pack at most; The boots are not heavy. look very good, the support is solid for my uses, and the foot protection from rocks is great. highly recommended!
