I have had several pair of the Moab 2, from ventilator to waterproof. All have stood the test of time. The mids are more comfortable then lower. But all just the same Merrell Quality.

Bought this pair to replace an identical pair that my dog chewed up. Great light-weight hiker.

I have had many pairs of these Moabs. I live in a rural area and wear them literally every day, many hours each day. They are the most comfortable boot I have found, they fit perfectly, give great ankle support, and wear like iron. I wear them in every kind of weather, and all kinds of terrain. The newest ones have more room in the toe box which makes them even more comfortable. These are the toughest, best boot I have ever worn, and I am old and have worn lots of differentt shoes. They are very reasonably priced for something so durable. They look good too! These are the best boot for all kinds of uses and will last a long long time no matter what you use them for.

Over the past 10 years I have bought 10 to 12 of these in waterproof, shoe and vent. I wear them to work, church, town....heck you get the idea, EVERYWHERE. My only complaint is there isn't a reward program for frequent buyers or some sort of incentive lol. Come on I literally have 2 in my cart now. Anyway these are the best boots/shoes I have ever bought

The Moabs were recommended by my husband's orthotic tech and he was right!! My husband could barely walk without pain and finding these shoes is a miracle! They are well made and fit perfectly. The way they are designed make walking a breeze. Thank you, Merrill

The web site's claim that I'd "experience out-of-the-box comfort" was 100% true. I wore them on a short, flat walk, then on a longer (about 5 mile) trail that was seldom flat and always muddy and wet. No blisters or complaints of any sort from my feet (legs yes, but not from feet). This, in contrast to a much longer break-in period I've experienced with other products.

I've been a service plumber on a tropical island for the last 30 years. In one word these shoes are dynamite. Fit well long lasting comfortable waterproof and breathable. It is a custom to takeoff your shoes before you enter the home on my island so left loosely tied I'm able to kick these shoes on and off with ease, or strap them tight if I need to dig a ditch.. I refuse to wear any other boots based on the five pairs that I've gone through in the many years I've been wearing them. As they go I wear them when they're fresh and new out and about in my personal life once i scuff them a little bit they become my work boots Fashionable yet rugged and sturdy !!! I think I'll order a back up pair now Don't hesitate the shoes don't fail.

I bought these boots in Spring 2016 and have used them for every day activities, work, working out at the gym, and hiking. I'm sure I'm well over the recommended mileage for these boots but they have held up very well. I wear these every day all day, even all winter in snow and ice and they have exceeded my expectations. These are not waterproof, but they do not advertise that feature either. They do well in the snow, just dont dunk them in water and your feet should stay dry. These boots are a fantastic value and if you are on the fence then just go ahead and buy them. Make sure you try them on in person to get what feels most comfortable to you.

My entire adult life I have had trouble finding shoes that fit well. Part of the problem is my deformed ankles. I finally figured out that hiking boots were the best everyday shoes for my feet, but even then finding good ones was a challenge. About 10 years ago I discovered the Merrell Moab Ventilator and it was absolutely the most comfortable shoe I ever put on. And they last about two years of me wearing them every day for every purpose at work and at home. Unfortunately, two years after I bought that first pair I went to buy a new pair and nobody locally carried them anymore. That's when I started buying them online. The great thing about Merrell is that while they switch up the color and trim style of the Moab Ventilator, the structure of the shoe remains unchanged over the years. So I know with absolute certainty that the shoes I buy in another two years will fit exactly like the last 5 pair did. With my weird feet, that's a godsend!

We mentioned to our son that we were interesting in a hiking boot. He suggested we look into Merrell. He was in the Army at the time and mentioned that the Army's Special Forces wore Merrell. On that, we sought them out, tried on several pairs & settled on this shoe. It was extremely comfortable from the onset, and later turned out to have "zero" break-in time. In the future would most certainly seek out Merrell our first in any search for similar / outdoor footwear.

I needed reliable footwear for a rim to rim hike in the Grand Canyon. Previous experience taught me that I wanted good ankle support for a steep descent but light weight and comfort for the long ascent. The Moab 2 fit my feet great from the start. They were the right choice.

Long term purchaser of this product. Exact fit. Very comfortable. Long term soul takes a beating. Lots of walking at work and around chemical environment. Absolutely no problems ever with this model. Should be buying new pair annually. These last 2- 3 then I use fir mowing 2 acres by hand.

This is my fifth pair. I wear them five days a week, sometimes six, several hours a day, and have no foot or leg issues. I wouldn't consider wearing any footwear to work in other than Merrell.

This is my forth pair of Merrell Moab 2 Mid Ventilators. I adore these boots for their comfort, durability, and looks! I am hard on my footwear, and it takes a lot to wear these boots out.

I really like these boots. Very comfortable and the tred on the bottom is great. Can't wait to start hiking in these.

I knew I needed to get a good shoe because I was beginning to have back problems which may have been caused by wearing other brands so I thought I should buy another Merrell product. I hadn't owned any Merrell shoes in a couple of years, I was right, after a few minutes I saw the difference, these have real arch support, the Merrell's are very comfortable. I bought two pairs one mid rise and one low rise.

My husband will only wear Merrell shoes... so far this is his favorite pair. Very comfortable, very soft, a lot of support!

Use this shoe in a variety of conditions and never disappoints. The wide version I think is VERY wide.
