I have been wearing Merrell boots for a long time and have found these meet the comfort standards I like. I require the wide width and associated arch support in a boot. I recommend Merrell boots all the way.

If you've never worn these boots then you don't know what you're missing. They're quite simply the best walking boot out there! Zero break in time. I absolutely love them..would highly recommend them to everybody that likes to walk and day hike.

Amazing boot, I am 6'6 and I constantly struggle with finding shoes wide enough to wear and the 13W are perfect. My feet are 4 1/2' wide at the widest point and these boots still are loose These are technically extra wide when I wear them, the photos below should give you an idea! I couldn't be happier!

I initially bought this boot in the extra-wide version, but returned it. It was actually too wide for my wide feet. I exchanged it for the normal width model and was pleasantly surprised that it fit very well and was quite comfortable.
I enjoy the fact that it provides decent ankle support without being too restrictive and that it is very light weight for its size.

I wear wide sizes and Merrill's always fit like a glove and a 12 is actually a 12. This is my third pair of these hikers and I have never been disappointed.

I went down 1/2 size as I chose the wide size. My feet are comfortable and I can walk or hike for hours. My ankle feels protected My wife recommended them as she has same pair.

The Moab 2 Mid Ventilators in wide width fit just like my other Moab 2s--great fit and very comfortable. I have trouble with a bone spur on the outside edge of my foot, making it really difficult to find good-fitting shoes and boots. But the Moab 2s offer a true wide width with plenty of room in the toe box.

Ordered wide and it fits nice. good lower ankle support.. easy to walk in and no real break in period needed... longer distance yet to be tested.. but so far.. good product.

I really love these boots. Perfect for day hiking. They're water resistant so walking through shallow streams isn't an issue at all! Really comfortable and warm. I had to go down a half-size from my usual size, but they fit really well and I can't say anything bad about these boots at all!

This is my 4th pair of the moabs, I've never put a more comfortable shoe on my foot , they feel like slippers when you first put them on , never have to break them in and they are a joy to wear every day . 5 stars on these !! Will keep buying them as long as they keep making them

I have found that this color of Merrell is the only one built on a last that fits my feet. I have tried other colors and had to return them because they hurt my feet. I like this particular shoe and usually buy 4 pairs a year. My wife says I’m boring, but these are the only shoes I have found that provide support and wear pretty well. I had Polio as a kid and these shoes help prevent my foot from “rolling off the sole” while I walk. I’ve tried other brands, but none of them work as well, so I’ll stick with them!

I have owned several pairs of Merrell boots and these are true to their reputation. Great boots with the ventilation, traction, and [more than likely] durability. They run big and wide - I usually wear a 9 W but I had to go down to a 8.5 W but probably would've fit in a regular width. About the only aspect of this boot I wasn't completely satisfied with was the cushioning - there isn't as much as I'd hoped. They're not flat and hard by any means, but not clouds either. Personal preferences... Great boot overall!

New favorite shoes! Light, but offering lots of support. Excellent grip on the bottom for city or country. Wore them to a concert and stood in them for 2.5 hours with no soreness. BAM!

Outstanding footwear for hiking as well as every day wear. I liked them so much, I also bought the waterproof version. I wear these boots everyday. I'm former military and have worn many types of issue and of the shelf boots. Never were any as comfortable and well performing as these.
