Great for wearing around town . Don't risk your feet hiking with these boots. Bought a new pair for a NZ hiking trip and came home with torn ligaments in my right foot because the support was so poor over uneven terrain and a lack of foot protection in the sole Pounded my planters facia tendon leading to a tear. There's no sole support ,you feel every stone, rock and stick right through the sole. It was bearable for a few miles but I was forced to stop three hours in and eventually was forced to turn back . Don't be fooled by the rugged look or the name. Use them to cut your lawn; if you have a riding mower.

Sole separated from uppers near the arch. Probably had less than 50 miles on them. Other than that major disappointment I was vert satisfied.

I work in the steel industry so safety boots are a must have. These are hands down some of the worse boots I've ever owned. I wore them for a little less than 6 months. They are not durable and they are certainly not comfortable. They started falling apart after a month and they were never comfortable, I thought they might need broke in but ni they just got worse and worse. Save your money buy anything else.

They way this is designed causes my foot to shift all of my weight to the outside of my foot. It's cause my ankles and knees to hurt. It's feels like they made for over-pronation.

I bought my first set of Merrell's last spring. Last night as I was walking I noticed that the inside front of the right boot had come separated where the rubber cover comes down to the inside of the toe. It opened an exposure to the inside of the boot allowing debris to come in. VERY disappointed that they did not hold up better. I haven't actually got to use the to hike with yet. I wore them twice a week when I would wear khakis to church or other meetings. Can't imagine they would have been good for hiking.

There was absolutely NO NEED to get rid of the original MOAB boots!! New style is ugly in all colors, fits horribly, and has ZERO comfort as compared to the originals! Bought these as a replacement when I saw they got rid of the original MOAB boot and I couldn't be more disappointed. Throwing these in the trash!!
