Comfortable for hiking long miles. My feet stayed dry in muddy and wet conditions. Plenty of toe room for my wide width. Nice arch support.

I've worn these only a handful of times so far, but they are so comfortable. I wish could wear them everywhere. They haven't been tested on my hiking trip in Scotland just yet. But I have no doubt they'll perform well. I tried the size on at a store and ordered my normal size in the color I wanted. They'll be perfect for my trip.

Love these boots, they're so comfortable and perfect for my hiking trips. I am usually a 7 - 7.5, got a 7.5 for these and I'm glad I did, they fit perfectly.

I was able to hike comfortably in the boots from day 1. They didn't need any breaking in and provided just the right amount of protection and cushion that I need for my hikes. The sizing was just right.

First pair of hiking boots and I am in love! Have not fully submerged them in water yet but def walked through the rain and stayed dry! I wear a size 9 and ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly! so comfortable and exactly what I was looking for.

Fits smaller than expected but overall a great boot

I love these boots. I purchased when we were going to be in snow but even though I live in Florida I wear them all the time. I wish I knew how to keep them clean and care for them. =)

This is my 3rd pair of these boots. The first pair was maybe 6 years ago, and they are still going - they were not the waterproof version. My 2nd pair was this same waterproof version, and I wear them all the time, now that we frequently hike here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC. These, too, are probably 4-5 years old - and still looking great. So my newest pair arrived today and did not disappoint! Right out of the box, a 2 mile hike and they are perfect! Love the color 'navy morning' too! Decided I needed another pair because I'm also wearing them for urban hikes on the hilly streets. They offer so much more stability, especially for my left outer leg/ankle/foot, which is partially numb from a surgery in 2014. The mid-rise offers more protection than hiking shoes do, and I don't 'roll' that left ankle like I do in shoes. I enjoy the roomy toe box which doesn't press on the right big toe bunion. I would wear a size 10, but order a 10.5 to handle my orthotics. I wear regular thickness wool hiking socks. Also great is the padded heel - snugs my narrow heel and never, ever rubs! I believe this newest pair has a slightly thicker outer sole and heel - very sturdy and grippy. And they are warm and dry!!! You need to try a pair - I know I swear by mine! Thank you Merrell!

Just last week I had to retire my first pair of MOAB boots after 5 years of support. These boots have been amazing for me, I have wide and tall feet so finding shoes that support and are comfortable can be an issue. I got my original pair for a backpacking trip I went on and they eventually accompanied me in traveling the world and almost daily wear. I highly recommend this boot to anyone looking to have a wonderful pair of boots that is comfortable, supportive, and durable. I am normally an 8 or 8.5 but I wear a 9W in these boots for the sole purpose of having plenty of room in the toe for downhill hiking.

Bought these for a trip to Utah in June. Love them right out of the box went for a short hike today and they feel great! Support is amazing! Plenty of room in the toe box with just the medium width. They look great too!

Only worn on two hikes, but this hiking shoe seems very comfortable, even over rough terrain.

Love these boots! Very comfortable, roomy toe box. Put them on as soon as they came and walked for 2 hours, no need for a break in period. They cinch up nice and tight around the ankles. They have removable insoles to be able to use my orthotics. They keep my feet very warm and dry. Would highly recommend.

Excellent fit and comfortable. Went to Tucson to hike and our first day it was snowing -and last day was sunny and seventy - good for all types of weather and terrain.

They are very comfortable and durable enough to where I can take them in any hike and they will hold my feet on the right position at all times.

I have worn Merrill boots and shoes for years my favorite by far

I bought these in preparation for trips to Glacier National Park, the Grand Tetons, and Yellowstone and would say they were a success! I bought them specifically because I wanted something comfortable and waterproof. They did well, the only time I got blisters was when I wore shorter socks, so I would definitely recommend wearing higher socks and doubling up if going on longer (and wetter) hikes. Other than that, my feet only started to hurt once I took the shoes off (because of the fact that I had hiked 10+ miles, not because of the shoes). They also had great traction and nice support. I would highly recommend them!
