I love them so much, very comfy, weren't stiff at all and no blisters breaking them in!

These boots are amazing. No break-in period for me. First hike was awesome and all the ones to follow have been too. They have gone to 6 National Parks this year. Can't wait to take them to more.

Actually very waterproof. Hiking in snow filled mountain never got my feet wet. The only tiny issue is that the top folds down and lets snow/ice in from the top even when I tried to tie very tightly. Great boots, toes were comfy coming down the mountain too.

The boots fit like a glove. No break-in time needed. When hiking the trails & glaciers of Alaska these boots gave me great support for my ankles & confidence on the trails.

Very easy to break in and quite comfortable. I haven't taken my trip yet to East Africa, but hoping they'll be great over there. At 74 I'm happy to still go on adventures.

Very comfortable even on their first hike up Mount Willard. My toes had plenty of room to spread out and were happy! There will be plenty of room for thick winter socks too. This is my second pair of these, love them!

This is my fourth pair of Merrill's. When I am hiking in them I feel like I am almost hiking in moccasins or barefoot. They are so light and they conform to my feet well to help me grip when hiking ledge and boulders. The mid rise of these Moab 2 boots also support my aging ankles.

The Moab 2 have performed well on three hikes so far. Please with their performance. Would love if someone could come up with a material that does not allow "hitchhikers" to attach to it!

These hiking boots take no "getting used to". The first hike I took after I got them was Snow Lake near Snoqualmie Pass in Washington. Comfortable, held my ankles firm, walked through streams with out getting wetthey are wonderful. Go get yourself a pair or two!!!

Recently purchased my first pair and absolutely love them. Hiking in Florida is sand, forest & swamp. Even on their 4 hour maiden voyage in extreme heat & humidity these guys are very comfortable!! So happy to deal with a great company that supplies a great product .

Wore these hiking over 75 miles on a trip to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Glacier national parks. They worked amazing! I had not worn them much before our trip but had no issues with blisters or needing to break them in. Waterproof and comfortable.

Very comfortable shoe, fits perfectly and no need to break them in-- just put on and get hiking!

Great product, instant comfort. This is my third pair. This pair was bought for my barn cleaning for traction and being waterproof.

True to size, sturdy but comfortable. Haven't had the chance yet to check out whether waterproofing is good.

I have been planning to climb Mount Kilimanjaro since the beginning of the year and have been training in the Moab 2 for months. I was not certain that these boots would work, but so happy that I did not invest money in buying a more expensive boot that was recommended. The Moab 2 boots did the job! My feet stayed dry for 9 days. The Vibram soles prevented slipping and falling many times that I was on the climb. After my summit, I donated my boots to one of the crew members who needed a better pair of boots. So happy to know my Merrells will be reaching the summit many more times to come. They should be the #1 hiking boots and I will invest in more!

I love my Moab2 hiking boots! I have recommended them many times. I hike every week in all weather. I live in the Midwest, so all four, beautiful seasons! These boots are fantastic in all weather! They are super comfortable right out of the box, they are lightweight, and they hold up really well. I have wide feet and got a wide and. They feel great on my feet. Also, I really appreciate that they have a removable insole. I have a foot that requires extra love and I need to use my special prescription insole. So thank you for being considerate and inclusive in your boot design, Merrell!

Fit great right out of the box, no need to break in. Took them on some solid 8 mile hikes in a variety of climates and they held up beautifully.

Fit perfectly...have been on the Blue Ridge Parkway already, breaking them in. Great support and comfortable. (Ordered a second pair!)

It's very hard for me to find footwear that fits. I wore them around the city when they arrived, walking up and down steep hills. They did great and didn't need any breaking in. I like how they cup the heel, so no slipping or rubbing. They also have good arch support. I took them camping and hiking for the first time this weekend. In hindsight, I barely thought about the boots or my feet at all which is a great thing. I've had trips where all I could think about was the agony of my feet. This trip, all my attention was on the beauty around me because these boots took such great care of my feet. My only gripe is particular to my feet which are quite high. If I don't wear thick socks, the laces dig into the top of my foot. But this is true for most footware so if you have this problem, be sure to size for thicker socks. At the end of the day I'd rather have hot, sweaty feet than pinched, pained feet. Overall I'm very happy and looking forward to many more adventures in these boots.

I am 73 years Young and walk 3 miles daily. Best hiking boot for ankle support, plantar fasciitis and wide toe box.
