These are awesome. I wore them the first time working hours at a apple orchard. The conditions were wet and cold. Yet, I finally have found a shoe that kept my feet dry. The fit is awesome. They are lightwieght. That helps alot when you are on your feet alot. I found them very comfortable!

I have loved Merrell shoes for many years, particularly the jungle Moc and Jungle slide. IN all that time I did not have need to replace my trusty hiking boots. When it came time to replace them, I of course turned to Merrell. I chose the Moab 2 Mid Waterproof and am extremely happy with that selection. My first venture was to climb Multnomah falls trail in Oregon. The Moab 2's performed exceptionally, I felt extremely comfortable and sure footed thanks to my Moab's. I am more of a casual hiker but would not hesitate to take these boots on longer adventures. Thank you Merrell!

No breaking in required! Off on our first hike together they offered no problem at all. I love how they look and they feel great.

I received these wonderful shoes yesterday and was so excited to try them out today. My dog and I walk 2 miles a day through the trails that wind through the woods and fields on our property that have rough terrain and uneven ground in some places. As a senior, I need a very substantial, well made hiking boot that fits well with excellent ankle support as well as a comfortable footbed and these boots fit the bill perfectly. They're so comfortable! I love them! I don't think I could have found a better "fit" anywhere else. Since we are in the dry season, I can't attest to the waterproofness of these shoes, but will update my review when the snows fly.

My Moabs are my favorite hiking boots of all time. They've carried me on hundreds of miles of the roughest terrain and never disappointed. Highly recommend!

Comfortable right out of the box! No hot spots and bunion never felt crushed! Wore out the first pair. Got the water proof this time round.

Lightweight and very comfortable. Had to go up a size so I wore two pairs of socks.

I took my new Moab 2 boots to Ireland! The old pair was too smelly for a plane ride and bus tour - good excuse to get a second pair. Explored Ireland for two weeks with only a day of "break-in". They performed beautifully! I also talked my sister into buying a pair (her first pair of hiking boots ever). Once she got used to them she admitted that they were great on our Ireland trip!

Took them hiking multiple times in GNP. Comfortable, waterproof, and hold up to tough terrain. Best purchase ever for hiking shoes.

This is my second pair of Merrell Moabs. First pair lasted about 12 years and I finally replaced them since the tread was worn and no longer safe for rigorous hikes. These are awesome hiking boots that last! No break in period either, comfortable right from first wear.

I went hiking and riding SxS in TN and it rained a lot! These boots were amazing. I had great grip trying to climb steep mountain sides and the boots cleaned up well after stomping through mud. Great arch and ankle support. I highly recommend them!

They are comfortable, and supportive to ankles and arches and give me even more confidence as I am walking around the bay trail by my house, hiking in the rain and mud in the Canadian Rockies or on rugged terrain in Iceland or just wearing to the market! These are my favorite shoes and my 2nd pair in 4 years. I have walked in them so much and wore down the tread!

Fantastic! Could not be happier! 3 hikes in Canada and no blisters. Hikes were all over 6 miles long. Moose Lake and Swan Lake. Gorman Lake, and Trucats trail to Fairmont Hot Springs. Now on to the Colorado Rockies with my Moab 2s'. Im completely satisfied.

My first outing with these hikers was around Nygren Wetlands. I was comfortable from the onset. Great shoe! So happy I bought them.

I wore these shoes on a five-mile rugged hike upon receiving them. They were so comfortable that I forgot I had them on. I thought for sure they would need some breaking in, but nope. They were just great.

Love the comfort and support these give my feet. The cushion is wonderful

These boots are excellent. I hiked on difficult trails in the Smokies. Boots are very sturdy & very comfortable.
