Love these!!!!! I pulled some muscles trying to go cheap and hike in my walking shoes. These are a game changer. They were marked down too. Guess no one wanted "purple" as they were described but these are stabilizing, comfortable, attractive and I love Merrell.

Light, well cushioned and supportive, yet tough enough for an afternoon hiking hard terrain. These replaced a beloved pair that has seen better days — they now reside in our summer cabin because they actually still have a lot of hiking left in them. The new pair felt odd at first — stiff and ill fitting around the ankle, but they quickly were broken in and feel just as good and as comfortable as my old pair.

The wide boots fit my wide feet really well. They are not cute or sleek looking boots but they're comfortable. In comparison, the sleek looking Columbia Newton ridge plus in the same wide size was stiffer, narrower, a bit too long and pinched my toes when walking. So I went with the boxy, comfy Moab 2!

Comfortable right out of the box. Light weight and breathable, but super durable. With the right socks, good for hikes almost year round by themselves. I've worn mine with heavy socks and gaiters to hike in the winter snow in Wisconsin! I've gone through several pairs of Moab's over the years and always recommend them to friends and family.

Ordered this online and tried it out today on a 4 mile gravel, rock and dirt trail. I'm very happy to report I felt no discomfort or rubbing. They were very comfortable and provided great cushioning and gripping. Hiked through a bit of mud and feet stayed dry. I love these hiking shoes!

Love my new boots after my old were well past their prime. I noticed they were very warm on my first hike (fall) so I'll be curious how they are mid-summer

We love going hiking (easy to moderate trails) in northern NM and CO. These hikers are so comfortable (no break-in period), not heavy on the feet or legs, and provide great traction on rocks, gravel, snow, mud, and trails. I wear a woman's size 11 and these fit me perfectly.

I am so happy with these boots. They are comfortable, roomy for my toes, and I am pleased with the arch support. I have not worn them in wet weather yet, so can't comment on how waterproof they are, which was important to me. I normally wear between an 8 and 8.5 and I have often gone up to size 9 in boots for room for socks, but the 8.5 is perfect with these boots. They are light weight and nice looking. I've never purchased "pink" boots before. The pink looks darker in the pics, but it's fun.
I'd also recommend:
Keen, Othofeet, Clarks, Birkenstock, Sorel

Great traction in rocky steep trails, and snowy areas as well. Always felt secure and confident where I stepped. My feet stayed dry when crossing creeks. I have problem feet with bunions and plantar fasciitis. I wear an woman's 8.5 normally and ordered a 9. The Wide width gave my feet plenty of space and the footbed felt great after several hours. My heels tend to hurt due to my job being on my feet for long hours and I was concerned there might not be enough cushioning but that was not the case at all. I had no foot aches after wearing for hours on multiple hikes in Utah Wasatch and Unita mountain trails. I ordered a half size larger to account for swelling after long time on my feet and it was perfect. This was my second pair of Merrel's and first pair of Moab's. I would definitely buy more in the future.

Love the look and feel of this sneaker! The arch is high which takes pressure off the ball of my foot, I did put some Dr. Schollls inserts in for additional arch support and now it's the perfect fit.

I wear a Women’s size 10 M (size 9 pre-kids). I ordered the Merrell Moab 2 Mid Waterproof hiking boot in both a size 10 and 10.5, and I couldn’t understand why BOTH were uncomfortably tight all over. So I visited the Merrell Outlet Store near me (Philadelphia Premium Outlets) and I explained my predicament to get their advice. The wonderful sales lady told me that the waterproof membrane packet inside the boots takes up AT LEAST a full half size all over throughout the shoe, and that a Wide would not resolve the issue. She recommended that I get a full size bigger. I tried on an 11M, and the boots instantly felt wonderful – no more tight pressure. I love these boots!

Great boots. They are very comfortable, with plenty of toe room with the wide width. Very true to size. No break in time. Keep my feet and ankles very stable.

I bought these after my husband had a positive experience with the brand during a trip overseas. I'm so glad that I did! They were comfortable from the first moment I put them on with great cushioning for the sole and superb ankle support. I wore them all weekend while hiking in the Smokies and they were so comfy I actually forgot to take them off when we returned to our cabin! These are a winner!
