My garden, I needed a stable shoe for my old tootsies.

I'm a professional trail builder and can't stress enough that a hikers boot is the most important piece of equipment on the trail. The condition of your feet will impact your entire trek and this is why I will always recommend the Merrel Moab's as my preferred hiking/work boot. Comfortable, breathable but waterproof, durable with great ankle support - these are the real deal.

Really like these boots. Comfy and great traction over rocks.

Took them to Iceland for 10 days & hiked a lot. Practically lived in them. Super comfortable, still in perfect shape (just a bit dusty). They made this trip great, no foot pain or problems.

These walkers are rugged and last a long time. Great for hiking on trails or pavement!

Perfect hiking boots. I wear mine for work.Trust me when I say they are perfect because I work 70 hours a week at a upscale pet resort on 10 acres.My feet stay dry and the boots are lightweight plus-- no break in period.Worth ever penny.

I'm absolutely blown away by these boots! I've always had a lot of pain in my feet whenever I hike or do a lot of trail walking, due to a past injury. I bought these boots and took them on some serious trails in the mountains of Idaho this past week, and even through miles of some epic treks, I experienced no pain in my feet whatsoever!! These boots are so supportive and comfortable and I will always make sure I have a pair of these! Wish I could give more than a 5 star rating! I usually wear a size 9, but got these in 9.5 wide, and they were perfect.

I bought the special edition (Birthday color) of the shoes around 6 months ago to climb the RMNP. It was really great on the snowy and rocky terrain. Kept my feet dry and warm! Been using it on any trail I go since.

Sturdy, comfortable and solid. Hiking through Peru. Have never worn these boots before but love the support.

Love how lightweight these feel and the support they offer. I feel like I'll be able to put a lot of miles on these. Only issue is that the brand new shoes arrived with some weird stainsnormally I would not care (hiking shoes, after allI'll be messing them up myself). But given the weird times we are living in, it made me a little uneasy to think maybe these shoes were used/returns. Soles were clean, though so not sure what the stains are. I'll clean them up and use them as I don't have time to exchange.

I recently purchased the Moab 2 Mid Waterproof based on other reviews and ratings. I have now worn it several times and was impressed by how quickly the shoe felt broke in, and by how effective the waterproofing was. I often am slogging across wet streams and wetland areas as part of my work and found myself on a trail that I wasn't expecting to be as wet as it was. Surprisingly, the boots kept my socks dry even when directly in water at crossings.

This shoe has been a godsend. My foot is wide and not all shoe companies make a comfortable wide. This boot is always my go to for everything. I appreciate the waterproof ability because Il'm walking through wet grass, fishing, gardening, and hiking.

I love these boots! I have taken the hiking, snowshoeing and camping. I bought a second pair!

After trying many high end hikers before a big trip to Utah last fall, I finally found the Moab mid waterproof the most comfortable. They performed great, with support and a stiff sole, in every condition, including soaked in a slot canyon. After clean up, you couldn't see a sign of the abuse they took.

I took my Merrells to Iceland and they were awesome! Very comfortable and great ankle support for volcanic rock and bolder terrain. Wouldn't change them for the world! I did have to size up. You may want to do this if you'll be hiking for long hours at a time.

I ordered these a couple weeks ago, I've worn them a few times now. They are really comfortable and after getting trapped in a rain storm yesterday with them my feet remained dried the whole time. We were in water up to our ankles, just below the hook on the boots and my feet still remained dried and never lost traction.

Great ankle support for walking or hiking. Very comfortable.

Went hiking at Glacier in the rain and mud, feet stayed completely dry. Hiked Moab, the soles gripped the rocks without slipping and my feet were not too hot. Love this boots!

Great boots, they provide strong ankle support but are still light and flexible. Comfortable and waterproof too!
