I have very high arches and plantar fasciitis. Switching to these boots has provided relief. I ordered the wide size and there's still enough room for an orthopedic insole even for someone with high volume feet/high arches.

Love this boot! I put in my orthotic in the boot, it fit perfectly! plenty of room for my wide foot with bunions no pain! day one I wore them on a 4 mile hike

Wow. My highly anticipated arrival of new hiking boots came today. I was not expecting them to fit even though I ordered a wide width (even wide shoes usually don't fit when ordered online). I was pleasantly surprised. I slipped them on and decided to break them in. They were so comfortable right from the start, they didn't need breaking in. I am IN LOVE with these shoes. Wish all manufacture's were more on point like Columbia. I would highly recommend them to others if looking for a reasonably priced pair of hiking boots.

I have trouble finding shoes and boots to fit and feel good. But these boots fit the bill. I put my own insoles in and they are pretty good!

I'm back here for another pair so I'll have two colors. Soooo comfy and supportive!

100% waterproof they were everything I could have wished for. They were comfortable and grippy. The only downside is that they could be a bit more breathable. But I absolutely love them, and they were amazing in Iceland and Norway.

Great boots .. comfortable

I ordered an 8W and have plenty of room for heavy socks. I usually wear between a 7.5 and 8.5 because I have a wide foot. These boots are wonderfully comfortable so far as I’ve tested them for a couple of days, just wearing around house and yard. I feel like they are a great find!

Bought shoes for warmth and rain protection for trip to Iceland. Shoes ran true to size and were extremely comfortable for daily activities.

I have a WW foot, so the D-width wide boot didn't work with thick socks - works fine with thinner socks and half a size bigger. Super cute.

I'm gonna give these 5 stars. After a couple months of light use, they were broken in. My only complaint is that the sole is more complicated than it needs to be. If you step in something you will want to not drag in the house, it's going to take several minutes to try to get it all out. That isn't an issue specific to this shoe or brand, but I don't see ther purpose of so many lines in the sole. It's impossible to clean.

Super comfortable and true to size. I order wide to be able to switch out the removable insole for a custom orthotic. Over the years I have ordered over a dozen of these shoes in different colors. Highly recommended!!

I debated on whether to keep these. With a different insert, arch support was better. Fit was good. The only problem was that where the harder toe ended, the boot buckled and pressed into my foot with walking, so I was afraid that it might make my foot/toes sore with wear. OR it could have gotten better over time. I was just unsure, so I returned them. I went with a Danner hiking boot.

Very attractive hiking shoe. I shopped hard for these. And in the feet they are so soft and comfortable yet they provide support and a thick sole. I walked around the house for hours in these. Very happy.

I like Columbia boots because they don't feel like you're wearing boots. They're really comfy. I always put inserts in for my flat feet and plantar fasciitis, and they work well in these.

Comfortable right out of the box without having to break in.

I read the reviews before I ordered and went up half a size so I could use my orthotics which corrected the lack of arch support in this shoe. I have not worn these boots as I purchased them for winter wear. I was pleased to find a pair at the sale price.
