The quality and thickness of the material feels amazing. They're stylish but still provide great structure for hiking, and protective padding for my ankles. They appeared to be slightly more purple in person, but barely noticeable and still cute.

Took these awesome boots to Alaska! Hiked in Denali Comfortable, rugged and supportive! They still look brand new! Wore them home on the plane and very comfortable! Best buy ever

Can't beat the value of this item on sale. I've always enjoyed the Columbia brand items for outdoor activities. Getting these boots for day hikes, in my size for a sale price was a score. They're not "waterproof" but water resistant, clean up easily and are very comfortable from the first day. Sizing appears to be a bit on the large size but will be perfect with heavier socks. Would definitely recommend.

Great fit and look, purchased for hiking, had good traction on the trails. Waterproof was good so far.

I work outdoors, so my gear needs to be tough and hold up for (hopefully) a few seasons. Mind you, I never write reviews but I bought these boots a few years ago, and to this day, I am so impressed by them. This pair of boots has hiked portions of Mount Whitney, the PCT, multiple field seasons and so much more. They are waterproof (I work IN ICY COLD rivers, so this is huge for me), my feet stay warm and I never had to break them in. I will be re-ordering!!

I purchased these boots over 3 years ago and have over 300 miles on them. They are now starting to let me know it's time for a New pair. These have been my most sturdy, most comfortable and reliable hiking boots I have ever had. I have 4 diff hiking boot brands from ASICS, Salmon and KEENs and I choose my Columbias every time when I am doing a more challenging hike esp when I need ankle stability and support. You will not go wrong with these boots, from a beginner to more of an experienced hiker. Plus when they said they're waterproof they are! Without being too hot even when wearing hiking socks! I would know living in the Pacific Northwest ( PCW). You will not be disappointed with this purchase!

Always worth buying again - fits perfectly every time

Solid, timeless, comfy. Been buying some form of this boot for about 2 decades now. They last forever and grip well. I have a wider toe box but narrow heel. I have no slipping in this boot at all. I also didn't need to change the insoles, despite higher arches and tall feet. Also digging the newer color options - a little personality. Well priced for the quality.

I wore these for 40+ miles of hiking in the PNW and they were so comfy even without having time to break them in. No blisters and the waterproofing held up through creeks, rivers, and puddles. They also looked super cute which was a plus. Highly recommend!!

I got these for Christmas from my daughter back in 2022. These have been so good to my feet on the long trails and high peaks in Southern California. A year and a half later I noticed the bottom a little worn out. So I needed a new pair. I bought a pair of Merrell hiking boots, they fell apart in 3 weeks. So here I am buying a new pair of Newton Ridge boots. I am looking fwd to my adventures in the mountains and deserts with something I can trust. Only thing is I am sizing up to a 9.5. I am a 8.5 foot size. Trek On!

These fit perfectly and are warm and durable. I bought them for a trip to the mountains. They are comfortable and a great value.
