These boots are impossible to put on. They don't have closure so when my son tried to put them on, he was litteraly crying. He is a skinny boy with normal feet.

We can't even get this boot on my daughter's foot because the shaft is so narrow.

Truly puzzled by all the positive reviews for these boots. The opening to the boot is way too narrow, so it is really difficult to get my child's foot in the boot, and an adult is needed for assistance. The size of the boot is true to size if you can get the foot inside. Also, the boot liner is the removable type and is constructed from a coarse, felt-like material. The problem with this is that the boot liner grabs onto your child's sock and gets pushed down into the boot rather than allowing the foot to easily slide into the boot. Again making it very difficult to put the boots on. Returning for something else.

Just bought these boots for my daughter from sport check and the inner lining falls down and crunches up when she slides her foot in which makes it impossible for her to get on. There is a little hook on the back of the boot but 7-year-olds cannot use their fingers to pull the boot. The boot top is also VERY NARROW. I would definitely not recommend this boot for anyone who wants a boot that is easy to access.

I will say I love TNF products. These toddler boots were not toddler friendly. I had to return them because the opening was so narrow I could not even get my toddlers heel to lay flat in the shoe.

These boots look great but are poor quality. I prefer a boot with a removable liner and these have that. The feature of a removable liner is fantastic for sizing, washing, and air drying a boot that gets wet inside. However, I removed the liner twice to try them on my 5 yr old son for a fit check and they were pulling at the seams of the footbed. They were never even worn. Brand new and falling apart. The quality and design of the synthetic fabric, cheap reflective material for insulation and loose stitching is horrible. I was super disappointed. I contacted customer service/warranty about the problem and got the run around several times. I got the run around about product authenticity and turn around time of a minimum of 5-6 weeks (after boots are received-so add another week) before a determination regarding the boots was made. And I had to pay for return shipping. No thank you. I requested a pre paid label at the expense of Northface and a shorter turn around time. My 5 yr old son would not have any boots to wear because of their defective product!! I purchased boots ahead of time for when he sized up mid winter and this happened. If you have a warranty issue go straight to Edna. She was able to help meet my concerns and in a more timely manner. In the end, the boots were deemed authentic yet defective. I was issued a gift card in under 2 weeks to purchase new boots. Moreover, I explained that I have only ever purchased Sorel boots and they have held up for over 5 yrs and through 3 boys with no issues. I will not be interested in purchasing from Northface again. It seems the brand name means more than quality. I shouldn't have had to press so hard for an easier solution in regards to getting new boots. It's not a customer service friendly company.

The fit was great but the liner in the boot was crumpled making the boot uncomfortable once on. Never ran into this issue before with North Face boots, so not sure if it is due to the larger size (7) but disappointed because I really love these boots... trying Bogs since there is not a removable liner.

Loved the loom and warmth of these boots for mt aon. However, he could not put on himself and hes 5. We ordered a 3 which is his normal size and these were impossible to get on. We will stick wjth BOGS for winter boots.

Could not get my 4 year olds foot past the middle of his foot into shaft. No zippers and the opening is only about 3.5 inches with no flex or stretch. Returned.

I bought these boots for my 8 year old son. I would not recommend them. They do not keep his feet warm and the design makes it very difficult for him to put on by himself and he is 8. The removable liner is very thin and does not keep his foot very warm. I am switching back to our go to boot with Lands End.
