I am an adult with small feet and use children's sizes. This boot was difficult to put on and also the toe area was uncomfortable. As a previous reviewer stated, there is some sort of folds of material that rubs agains the toes. On the positive side, it seems like a well constructed boot and it fit true to size for my short but wide feet.

The pair that I bought was a size 7 for youth but it was even too big for me as an adult, how can a small child fit in it.

I bought these for my son, who wears a size 12 in gym shoes, but had to exchange for a size 13 as they felt a little small on him. These boots keep his feet warm and dry but one of the laces arrived tangled and due to the design, I cannot untangle it so I have to rig it a bit to keep the snow out.

I really wanted to love these boots! Great looking, the Egyptian blue/Blizzard Blue color is stunning but after the first day my daughter started complaining about the boot liners slipping down...turned out to be a pretty big pain. A couple of weeks later I went to wash the liners when her teacher sent out an email asking parents to do so. When I took them out of the wash one of the soles of the liners had become completely unstitched and disconnected...they were very great about replacing them and extremely efficient. We will try a different pair next year:) I love The North Face and previous to this incident I have never had one complaint about any of their products and I've been a long loyal customer :)

These looked great but they were way too hard to get on and off. The laces don't loosen enough to slide the foot in easily. Had to return.

I LOVE Northface but these wern't a good fit.
The top of them doesn't widen so putting pants into them is next to impossible and certainly uncomfortable to try. They are not as high as some boots for youth.
They don't seem very padded inside so I can't speak to the warmth. The very thin liner bunches down into the boot when put on. Super aggravating.
They looked nice but my son asked me to return them for the issue with the top of the boot not being able to open up. You'd think it would with the lace up area. He's super skinny like a beanpole so i doubt a child with larger legs would be comfortable.

Nicely styled boot.
No doubt it would have done well in a Michigan winter, but the middle part of the boot shaft, where the laces are, is made out of a really funky crinkly material that makes all sorts of noise.
When my son tried them on and was walking around in them, they were making all sorts of noise.
Sadly, they are going back.

Seem like good boots but my child complained of discomfort from the inside stitching.I haven't heard back from customer service.

The show was too big length wise but was too small in the upper area which made it hard to get my sons foot in . We couldn't even get his foot all the way in . I have some very comfy northface boots so I thought these would be comfy as well but my son (5) did not like them and I returned them.

Well the opening was too narrow for my five year and I was buying for next season so he would nit have fit in later. I think I am going to go with half boots from now on.

Bought these for my son. He likes them once they're on but for some reason NF has an insulation piece around the upper inside of the boot that keeps falling down and making it difficult to put on. Can't widen the top of the boot enough to put them on comfortably.

The elastic drawstring lace broke the second day they were used by my 11yr old. Now he can't do them up. It can't be rethreaded or tied together. I am very disappointed.

These boots fit. But after the workout of putting it on it simply wasn't worth it. There is hardly any room for the foot to transition from the ankle area to the flat bottom. I think I'll return them or size up.

This is a terrible design for a kids boot. It's a great quality boot as with all northface. And if my kids could get them on, they would be great. But the top doesnt open any farther and my kids struggle to get their feet in the boots. And if they do, the inner lining is pushed to the bottom, so we have to start over. These boots are so frustrating. Who ever designed these has never had to put boots on a child. Why wouldnt you make it be able open farther to put your foot in?!?!?

Although the design and material is great, the removable felt is so inconvenient for younger kids. It's not attached to the boot and comes out each time. That makes my son need help for putting on and so, he refuses to wear for school after first use. So disappointing from The North Face which I used to have obsession with all products I had.

These are adorable and well made, but super hard to get on. I wish they had a zipper or something as my 5 year old cannot put them on herself.

I wanted to love these boots they seem so solidly made. However, on one of the boots, the lining kept slipping, so I had trouble getting the boot on.
They also didn't fit over my jeans, so back they're go.

The shoes are SO narrow. My son has average feet and it was so hard to get his foot in and out of. Plus the inside sole of the shoe that's in there to keep the feet warm is not attached to the shoe itself, it was honestly so hard to get on and off. I had him wear them to test them out, all around it wasnt good. I love North Face but this was a huge fail...

These are disappointing. I ordered the Jack Wolfskin Iceland boots as well for one of my twin boys. Their feet are slightly bigger than mine so I slipped my feet into both pairs as well just to see how they felt to me. The difference between the two boots was remarkable. The North Face boots felt cheap in comparison. The Jack Wolfskin boots were far more comfortable with better support and softer inside padding, more substantial all around and also much, much warmer for our Northern MN winter. I was surprised! I’m so glad I tried them myself. These are going back.

I bought these based on the picture and thought they would be perfect for my son, but they have a weird crinkling sound from the material in the front when you move/walk. Also, they seemed cheaply made.
