This is the best investment I've made this year! Expensive but worth every penny. I wear scrubs to work and wanted a long warm coat for cold early mornings. It's soft, light, warm, and comfortable. And I think it looks nice, too! I haven't figured out how water proof / resistant it is. Aside from that, it's AMAZING.

I love this jacket. I was a little hesitant at first, because I was truly seeking something with a waist belt, however upon receiving I fell in love. The design gives you a bit of curve simply by nature. It's warm, great length for cold, LOVE the green color, and LOVE the two-sided zipper...very nice for walking with longer strides! It's also very light weight, so it's not a pain to carry if public transit is too warm. Definitely recommend!

We live in a cold, windy climate and with my wife going through cancer treatments she is always cold. This is the third long parka I have gotten her because these are her absolute favorites. Keeps her warm and comfortable and is all she'll ever wear.

Got his parka for my wife as a gift. Live in Chicagoland area and winters can get real cold. My wife loved the parka and she looks great wearing it. She commented that very lightweight and keeps her very warm. Perfect gift.

This jacket is stylish, goes with almost anything and everything. It's also lightweight so it's easy to carry around & can easily roll away as it fits in my bag. The quality is great as it keeps me warm during cold winter weather. It's also very comfortable to wear since it's so soft. I feel like being wrapped in a down sleeping bag accept it's stylish. I highly recommend it.

I bought this coat for my wife of 28 years after trying to convince her that her "old" coat needed to be retired. She was a bit intimidated by the price, but as with most things, you get what you pay for.

My husband got me this as a gift. I haven't had a chance to try it in super cold weather and wind but I think it will be great for what I use it for. I spend part of each day outside with my kids, walking through cold parking lots and standing around in the school yard. The zipper opens from the top and bottom incase you need a little air or room for hiking up stairs or into high vehicles. It seems thin which makes it look nice and keeps it light. Like i said I haven't had a subzero day to try it yet, but I think the length and down will keep it warm anyway. Since it is a nice fitted coat I wouldn't be able to wear a lot of heavy layers underneath but a nice sweater fits fine. Normally I have had a hard time finding a fitted coat to fit my frame without being too tight in the arms and shoulders. I have no problem with this one. The price is a lot for us to pay but it is worth it. I tried a less expensive similar coat of another brand last year but it leaked tons of downy feathers all over my clothes. The Northface one that we got to replace it has not leaked feathers.

Both of my daughters have this coat and love it - so, why shouldn't I ? Ordered it and immediately see why. Love the comfort. Always looks good ! Wish I would have treated myself a long time ago!

this was purchased as a gift for a Florida girl away at school in Rhode Island, she loves it and cant wait for the weather to cool down enough to wear it

This is the only coat that keeps me warm through the cold winters...... Light weight so it's easy to wear anywhere. Can roll up small, easy to pack.

The best coat I've ever purchased! So lightweight and yet warm enough to withstand the Chicago winters. I'm a tall woman and to find a coat that ends mid-calf is truly amazing. I would recommend this coat to all of my friends and family!

I waited too long last year and this coat was sold out. I didn't want to make that mistake this year. Like all North Face products - fits well and performs well. I am glad I have this additional coat for cold weather days.

Love this coat. It was the perfect layer to wear when out in the late fall and winter walking the dog and also wore it every weekend in the arena to watch my son play hockey. Not bulky at all like some others and the length is key.

This coat is exactly what I was looking for as I moved from Dallas back to Chicago. I am no longer afraid to face winter! This coat is long, warm, and surprisingly light weight. Bring on the snow!
