This shoe is very beautiful and I always wear a six I have found that the more decorative the shoe the larger I have to order it with that being said I ordered a 1/2 size up, but the shoe is very snug and firm. I wear a medium width.

Cushy feel & slim fit.

sizing seemed short but may be the way the toe narrows.

I love the floral print! Most running shoes these days are such strange color combinations, that when I find one I like, I have to get it before it disappears (I also bought the gray ones). The toe box does seem a bit lower than older versions; but my toes like to be able to move, so I always buy running shoes 1/2 size too big. What makes me buy the Gel Kayano over other running shoes is the dual-density midsole (think arch protection) and the fact that it has gel cushioning in both the heel and forefoot (keeping the old knees happy).

As other reviews indicated, I ordered 1/2 size larger and I've always ordered wide .. .it still feels snugger but by adjusting the ties, it works ... takes longer to "break in" than previous Gel Kayana which I've worn for many years and usually just start wearing - no break in period. This is my second pair of the same shoe as I am never able to get a different color in my size ...so they must sell out. Hoping they will return to previous fit after all the reviews are here. it is still the best support for me - I only walk now as after foot surgery, I've promised the doc to not jog anymore

I almost didn't purchase this shoe due to the reviews that it had changed in toe width. Took a chance as I had loved my last four pairs. They are perfect, as always. Don't hesitate

I tend to always buy Asics and these are great. Lightweight, super cute, and I go to the gym and do the eliptical or cross training classes typically 3-4x a week and these seem to do the job. I'm sure if I had paid more I would have gotten a more heavy duty sneaker but these were exactly what I was looking for.

True blue. This price is $60 off regular price. No where are they selling these for any less $160. ($159.99). Great asics Dr.'s recommend for back,problems. My knees start hurting when it is time for a new pair. I wear mine every day all day walk 2-3 miles a day (usually treadmill bot also outside) they have lasted me nearly a year and my knees haven't started aching yet. Great shoe.

Nice and cushioned, but toebox too pointy (most people don't have pointy feet). Upper is pliable, but too minimal so shoe feels tight. Unfortunately, my shoes arrived with dirt on outsold and hair inside the box. Gross.

Runs MUCH smaller than last years model shoe!!! Having to return for larger size. Still a comfortable shoe but sizing off compared to last years shoe

It's true to the size and very supportive of the heals. I bought this show for long distance walks and it works very well . It circulates the air and also keeps your feet dry.

Great looking sneaker. Runs small. Order up a half size. I need to exchange mine.

I love Asics for my athletic shoes since they come in smaller widths. They provide good arch support and prevent your ankle from rolling. Overall a great shoe for cardio, weights or just walking!

I worn this style of shoe for years. Sadly with the new toes shape I have had to change sizes which means that I have to go through the extra work of shipping back the old pair and waiting on the new one. I still love the shoe but be aware you will probably have to move up a size.

I was hesitating to get them since I read previous reviews, I took a chance got them ,I have thin feet so for me the felt like a a perfect fit, peolple mention that they are tight in the toes, but I found that is not the case they are just more snug in the sides than usual shoes , my size is 8 but on running shoes I always go 1/2 number up, also I always replace the removable insole for my orthotic and still fit perfect , I wear them for Bootcamp and running 6 day a week and I haven't got any problems , they are light and really stylish

As others have noted, this shoe has a very narrow foot bed. I ordered a half size up and my toes still rub the top of the shoe. The sole is stiffer which offers good support for arthritic toes.

While I do agree with other reviewers that Asics is making the Gel-Kayanos shorter and narrower than they should be, most who are looking for a good running shoe read reviews before purchasing. I have been a loyal wearer/buyer of Asics Gel-Kayanos for many years now, and I have figured out what size I need. Almost every brand of shoe you buy requires some trial and error to find the exact right size for you, so I can't really understand why reviewers continue to complain about how the Gel-Kayanos fit. If you don't like how they fit, find a different shoe or brand. For me, these are nearly perfect. I have long, narrow, moderately pronating feet and plantar fasciitis. I am a true 9.5 on the right foot, with my left foot being about 1/4 inch shorter. I wear the size 10 B-medium Asics Gel-Kayano 23s.

I wanted these shoes to fit so much bc I love the color, cushion, lightness etc, but they were extremely narrow. I would love to have this in wide when they come back in stock!

I agree with a previous review that the new model has a smaller toe box than the previous "22" model. I found that due to the flexibility and stretch of the fabric it did not cause any discomfort even with my custom orthotics. The narrower toe box led to the 4-star overall rating.

As others have said, the ASICS shape has really changed -- I've worn these for years but the new shape doesn't fit. So bummed.

I love these sneakers and they are the only kind I will wear. I am an 8 in regular shoes and always go up 1/2 size in athletic shoes. I think a lot of people don't realize they should do this for comfort while exercising. The new more tapered fit is better than in previous styles.
