After having worn Brooks Adrenaline for a few years, I wanted to go back to my tried and true Asics brand. I chose the Gel-Keyano 23 for its stability and support. I wear a size 8 in regular shoes and boots and have always went up a 1/2 size in my running shoes, so I got the 8.5 even tho many people said to go bigger. I am glad I got the 8.5 because I feel these fit true to size in length. In fact I think they feel a bit too long sometimes. As far as the width they are perfect and I have small bunions. I do feel that the height of the toe box could be a little higher though. Also for a price of $160 you would expect great arch support but that is a bit lacking too, and having to spend another $30-$50 on inserts is rediculous to me! The gel foot bed is amazing and provides s nice bouncy feel in my step. I like the bright colours in these shoes and have gotten many compliments at the gym.

Despite the reviews about the toe box and sizing I ordered my regular size and have not had any problems.

I had heard that this show ran narrow, so I ordered the wide. It was still too tight for my foot. The cushioning felt really good though. It's a very good looking shoe. Unfortunately I'm going to have to send them back because my foot still hurts when I run in them. The toe box is just too narrow. Going to try the men's double E when it comes back in my size.

I like these shoes. My other sneakers were bothering my knees but the pain has gone away with these shoes. They did feel tight when I first got them but they have stretched out a bit with use. The style/color has also grown on me.

Love this shoe! I've been wearing the Gel-Kayano for years and they are my "go to" running shoe for running. This latest model does seem to be narrower in the front than previous models.

I usually buy shoes for the look but started running more and decided to choose based on function. These shoes feel like I'm running on clouds. Super comfortable and shock absorbent. I had to go up one whole size bigger because as other reviewers noted already the toe box is too small. I usually wear a size 7 in most shoes but went up to a size 8 and the fit well.

Asics Gel Kayano have been my running shoes of preference for more than 10 yrs now. This particular version is very narrowed in the toe box, but they fit perfectly! I'm dealing with plantar fasciitis for more than a year now so the support is definitely there which even alleviates my pain while running. If you need support go for it! but you may want to get one larger size to avoid toe nails issues.

I was surprised by the brightness of the ORANGE color of the shoe - online it looks like a deep CORAL color - but I tried them on and took a walk. I can't wear normal thickness ankle footies as the toe area felt too tight. I had considered returning - but love the Excellent Arch and Heel Support - so now I wear little micro fiber footies and the shoes are perfect for my 3 mile walks. But I found them to be too heavy to wear on the Treadmill at the gym. But the color!!!! So Bright!
