I bought these after much thought to the price, but it was totally worth it. I used to have Asics gel Kayano 20 and these are definitely much better. They are lighter and much more supportive. I have run in these and experience has been very good so far. I will update later as to how they wear

I like 23's better than 22's simply because there is more give on the sides- especially the toes. The 22's had a thicker navy blue side that didn't give as soon , as these 23's did. I have hammer toes, so this shoe feels so much better. I love the color and how cush the gel part is- I am a PE teacher and on my feet all day!!

I was happy to be able to get a 2AA width! Have bought the same shoes in standard width and they are too wide! I wish that the tennis shoes would be offered in a 2 AA width! I have two pairs but they are too wide! They do last longer than other brands such as New Balance.

I am a valet runner and on my first month I was getting shin splints, I knew I had to make a switch. I bought these shoes and over the past month or so they have been perfect to me, outstanding support, comfort and style. 10/10 by far.

I've worn ascis for my 8 hour work day and they are the best shoes to handle my 5,000+ daily steps.

I've been waiting for this shoe. It's my fourth Kayano due to over pronation and I've recently experienced problems with the ball of my left foot and toes. I wore them to exercise yesterday with no pain! Awesome!

After the disaster that the Kayano 22 was, the 23 redeems the Kayano line! Toe box is back to the standard size - very much like the Kayano 21. This one has the classic Kayano fit. To add to this, the sneakers are significantly lighter than when compared to the 21's. Very comfortable from the first time I laced them up. Asics actually listened to all of the complaints! :-O :-D

I like the fit for the most part and the style. Love the colors. They seem a bit narrow/tight on the toes and I do not have wide feet but other than that they are good.

Once I got the sizing figured out, they were fine. Kayano 23 is sized smaller than my old Kayanos by about 1/2 to 1 size. My first order (at my usual size) was too small. I like a slightly snug fit and went up 1/2 size from usual, and they fit great. I like the changes to the design, and the mesh like fabric creates a good fit. I'm not a big fan of pink, but I just wish they came with a different color of laces!

Perfect support for certain feet in plantar fasciitis. Durability in the tread doesn't last more than three months if you wear all day, every day. Narrow toe box. But I have yet to find a better cushioned heel in a shoe.

I bought these shoes for winter training and alternated between these and the Nike Structure 21s. I have very flat feet and when I started running in these shoes I had really aggressive shin splints, but after I broke the shoes in they were amazing. They kept their support and bounce for a full season of running between 30-40 miles a week, I stopped running in the Nikes completely. A great shoe that is great for training.

Have been wearing gel kayano for several years now for work as I walk and stand a fair amount. The kayano 23 was lighter than the previous versions but didn't feel as sturdy. Fit and comfort is still good so I would probably still recom getting this model.

Gel kayano is my favorite running shoe. Has a less arch support than I prefer.

I wanted to love these but just couldn't as they are too snug all the way around. I am an avid Asics wearer and realize they will stretch somewhat in the width but they are very snug in the toe box and am not sure that will change so alas I'm returning. I've been a Kinsei wearer and lover for years and can't understand why the company is no longer making them. I haven't found a better shoe yet!

These are a quality shoe, but I completely agree with other reviews; the toe area is too small. Now I'll admit I prefer wiggle room in the toe area, but these were like wearing a dressy heal. They were VERY narrow in the tow area. The Kayano 24's were a little better, but still not what I would call comfortable. A true shame.

I purchased these shoes because of all the Asics I had purchased in the past. The toe box is slimmer than it was in previous models. I ordered the wide in this shoe (which I never do) and it's still snug but will hopefully break in when I start wearing them. The color is great - I like those "go with anything" colors. I recommend the shoe but if you normally wear a regular width, order the wide. Don't size up like some reviews recommend - I tried that on and it slid up and down my heel.

They are a comfortable shoe and I can feel them preventing overproduction although length was true to size the toe box was just to narrow. I was excited to find shoes in my size but I gues it’s back to men’s shoes.

The Kayano is the only shoe I will wear period! I prefer a D width, however, this shoe is black, which I needed for my work and business. I will slowly stretch them out and they will work.

I wear a lot of Asics athletic shoes and need stabilization in my footwear. In previous generations of the ASICS Gel-Kayano the fit was much more predictable. This new(er) model feels smaller and more narrow then ordered. Super good looking shoes but sadly, I returned them for the reasons noted.
I'd also recommend:
Asics is all I wear due to the stabilizing factor and the incredible comfort that I get.

I really like the shoe. I've owned this pair since April and put a lot of miles on them since then. In spite of their heavy use, I am surprised at how quickly the tread wore out.
