I've been running for 45 years and change shoes every six months. This pair of Kayanos I found to be a little snug, particularly in the toe. I would recommend that an additional 1/2 size could solve that problem although, now that they are broken in, they are feeling more comfortable.

I've worn Kayanos since kayano 18. Absolutely love them. Read the reviews and didn't have a problem with the 23's. Felt great even after adding inserts to correct back issues.

I wanted to love this shoe because it is so cute, but it was so overly constructed it was uncomfortable. When walking, the shoe didn't flex with my step and as a result I had pain in the ball of my foot. Too bad because I love the pattern on the fabric. I had to return them.

About every 8 months to a year i have to buy new Kayanos or gt series. i have been buying them for almost 10 years now. I bought the Kayano 23's about 3 months ago and i feel like Asics finally nailed it. I always struggle with them ripping or the glue holding the rubber failing and it falling off. These Kayano 23's have proven to be a much tougher shoe. They finally got the right glue compound to hold the rubber on. They don't have super thin mesh on the side were sometimes my pinky toe makes a hole. All in all these are one of the best Asics shoes i have every put on my feet. so please don't mess up the 24's with bad glue or weak sides. Thanks!

I bought GEl-Kayano 23 based on the reviews which it had received, believe me I am NOT disappointed. It looks great, feels great (mega comfy) and is another winner for me a repeat buyer of ASICS. I haven't had these long enough to rate the durability therefore I will give it a mid range score for now - hopefully it will live up to the scores that other have given.

I have plantar fasciitis so it's important for me to have a good supportive and comfortable shoe. I had a previous pair of Asics and my feet hurt in them. After reading the reviews I decided to order these in a half size up and they are perfect! They are so comfortable and my feet do not hurt! I love these shoes and will buy this kind again! I also get compliments on them too!

I purchase a pair of GEL-Kayano 23 shoes a couple of months ago and found them to be exceptional. The shoes were well-made; fit well and made running outside and on the treadmill a great experience. Online ordering was seamless; the tracking number enabled following the delivery and the shoes arrived on time. The overall experience was so good that I just ordered another pair.

So weird. I read reviews that this ran small but I ordered my normal size anyway. I had to exchange for a smaller size! I went down 1/2 size in this from my normal Asics size 8. The 7.5 is comfortably snug. I have a slightly narrow foot and this hugs beautifully. Love the black floral, too.

These are so comfortable! I have plantar facitis and I work outside on my feet all day. The first day I wore these I had no pain! I did order a half size bigger and a wide as they do run small. They are worth finding the right size though!

I love love love these running shoes, I use to be an avid mizuno purchaser, although after they replaced the alchemy, I was unable to find a fit that worked for me, I tried the mizuno wave paradox 2 and hated them, they were uncomfortable, too tight in the forefoot, and very clunky. I found these and they are very comfortable and I disagree with the other reviews stating the toe box is too small. I have flat feet, and while not wide feet, mine are a little "wider" than the average person and feel these fit well. They are very cushiony and light weight. I wear an 8 in shoes and always purchase an 8.5 in all my running shoes, purchased the 8.5 and they fit perfectly.

Bought my 6th pair of Asics Kayano directly online. Although I was very happy with my previous pairs, I read all the reviews before buying these. Some reviews mentioned a tighter toe-box, but I think actually the 23 is better than before. In terms of running, it is nothing short of what I expected. And I adore the color scheme, same as before: royal blue with fluo green accents.

I had considered giving up running because after a long run would always have moderate pain for 24-48 hours afterwards regardless of stretching and other treatments. I stumbled into a pair of Asics GT-2000 3 and everything changed. The Asics Gel Kayano 23 are even better for longer distances. I have run long distances in both, and this summer I will be crossing the finish line of my first Marathon in the also-stylish Gel Kayano.
Only complaint, wish the laces were a bit longer, since I use the runner's lacing method at the top.

I purchased my Kayamo 23 as a Christmas present to myself. After a two day break-in these shoes fit like a glove and provide great support. I walk about 3 to 4 miles per day and at the end of each session my feet still feel great. These shoes are a super great investment that I am very pleased with. Thanks ASICS for a great quality product.

This is my 4th pair of Asics' Kayano. This shoe always feels like it is carrying me along, not the other way 'round.

This is a great shoe. I have it in another color. Very good walking shoe! I am not crazy about this particular color on me, not you!
IDK about arch support as I put in my own foot bed.
