Not for my foot. Seems like a good shoes but since foot surgery in the spring I find it harder to find a shoe that doesn't irritate my suture line and these hit in just the wrong place.

I have worn Salomon shoes for over 10 years, and I love them!! I always get compliments on the various colors and style. I have worn this particular shoe for 3 years, and it's perfect for my current needs - running/walking 30-40 miles per week. Great support, great style and not too heavy for running. When the shoe becomes too broken down on the inside to continue running in, I wear them to kick around in, or I wear them as my garden/yard shoes. In one way or another, Salomon shoes last me for a years. Highly recommend.

I bough these to replace the exact pair I had and was training in to walk the Camino Santiago. Unfortunately I wore them out not in. I chose them because of the flexible sole. Many other styles were too solid and hard on your feet which lead to rubbing in the heels as you pushed off. These do flex and I haven't had any problems with hot spots forming around the heel or ankle area. I like the quick lace system but I do with the laces were longer. If you try to wear them with hiking socks it's really hard to get your feet in. I have to take my time and wear them fully open for a few minutes for the socks to settle before I can do them up. A longer lace so I can open them fully would make all the difference. I put custom orthotics under the insole. Works well for my long walks. There is arch support but just not enough after I broke my foot. The mesh breathes well and they dry out quickly.

I’ve been wearing Salomon X-Mission 3 shoes for several years. I use the shoe for walking and hiking on trails, often 5-10 miles. I have both bunions and a hammertoe, and the shoe accommodates my problem areas. I noticed my last pair in my usual 91/2 seemed narrower in the toe box so this time I bought a 10. So far, just wearing them around the house, I feel the extra length is more comfortable for me. The Salomon brand seems to fit my feet the best, not causing pressure on my bunions. As usual, great service from Zappos.

I normally love Salomon, but the edge of the shoe hit right under the ankle bone which made it uncomfortable. It's stiff enough that I don't feel like it would break in enough for me to get used to it.

I bought these as Title Nine offered them for much more $, so savings on Zappos. I really like them, I am a runner and like a structured running shoe and the lacing system is great because I never have to stop and tie a shoe, the lacing works with your movement . These are stylish and add a pop to my normal black running pant. They are light, comfortable, and stylish ~ purchasing in another color (own the magnet/poppy red) (purchasing the North Atlantic/)

This is my third pair of Salomons. My other two pairs were Speedcross 3's, which i used for winter walking, and were extremely comfortable. The X-Mission 3's seem to have a firmer insole and aren't quite as "cushy". That is the only reason I am giving them a 4. I love the lacing system, the colors and overall style. My 9.5 fit perfectly, and although I have a medium width, I also like the wide toe box.

I have worn these shoes for a week. This time I got a 1/2 size larger than usual because my last pair of Solomons rub my left little toe a bit. I chose the X-Mission 3 as I need a high toe box and these are comfortable. The 7 and 1/2 toe box was also high enough but too short. The tread is nice and grippy and I use them for daily walking.

This is a good looking shoe. But the lacing system is annoying and something about the footbed aggravated a neuroma. I will keep trying.....

Extremely comfortable right out of the box. I’m so surprised how comfortable these shoes are. I took a chance and went on a 10 mile hike, with challenging terrain the first time I put them on. They were so comfortable and required no break in period. I’m very happy with these shoes.

Great support for the arches! Feels very good and solid overall but not a heavy weight sneaker. Nice styling.

I buy a pair of these every few years because they are my favorite all around shoe (walking, hiking, outdoor whatever). They seem narrower than they ahve been in the past, but still fit fairly well. Love the color choices.

I've had at least 7 pair of these. I love them. I wish the red/pink shoes would return.

This shoe was everything I need in an all around athletic shoe. Good wide toe box for those of us with a wider foot but 'Wide' width shoes are too big. Will find out just how comfortable these are when we get back from Europe the end of this month. Thanks Zappos for all your help in replacing my 1st shipment of these shoes that were unable to make it to my doorstep - you are awesome!

These fit similar to Nikes, a little more narrow than other brands, so perfect for me! Love them for aggressive and muddy trails.

These are great trail running shoes for muddy and aggressive trails. My second pair.

I ordered a size 8 and they fit great (I'm normally an 8.5). Super comfortable right out of the box, wore them hiking and rock scrambling in Colorado with no issues. Excellent traction, the soles actually felt bouncy and super supportive. Highly recommend.

These shoes are HUGE. I normally take a 7 in running shoes, so I ordered my regular size in these. I'm swimming in them. I ordered both a 6 and 6.5 to see if those fit me better. Otherwise, standard Salomon design here: nice colors with a sole that looks like it will hold up as well as my previous pairs. Fingers crossed the new sizes will work.

I've been wearing this shoe for years, so I wasn't surprised by the fit. It is by far the most comfortable shoe in my closet--my orthotics fit great and it stabilizes my ankles. I have owned a dozen pairs of these.

Worst lace-up system ever! But that can be fixed. It’s the stitching flaw on the toe of the left shoe I can’t live with.
