Too small even though I bought the size I wear in nearly every brand.

The shoe's style doesn't make up for it's discomfort. Instead of shoe laces, there are these weird built-in laces that you use to tighten the shoes. It results in uneven tightness from the toes to the top of the arch of the foot. It was very uncomfortable and difficult to "tie". The shoes isn't wide around the arch, but it is wide around the toes. There was so much space in width at the toes. All in all... a very weird shoe.

I really wanted to like these shoes. I'm looking for a flexible shoe for light summer hiking. This shoe has nice flexibility and arch support. Unfortunately, the toe box is shaped weird so that it rubs the tip of my big toe with every step, even though the shoe is long enough. I suppose this might fit well for someone who has narrow toes.

Width fit my narrow feet but toe box has a weird curve which made the shoe too small. I wear 9.5 in every shoe I own so I was disappointed this didn’t fit. Will try 1/2 size up.

I love these! I have another pair of Salomon‘s, but was looking for some variety in my color selections. These are so great in person! Love the colors, and the fit is great. Used these on a recent 20-mile day hike and the tread held up really well on rocky and gravelly ups and downs. Highly recommend!

These are my 3rd pair of X-Mission 3's. They're super supportive and great in rain and mud. Love the lacing system - easy to make adjustments for perfect fit.

I REALLY wanted to like these shoes. I've worn Salomons for years but somehow they have changed their style just enough that they no longer work for me. These are very stiff and the sides come up so high they hit my ankle bones. I tried them with heel pads and, even so, they rubbed. This was with heavy socks. In the summer with thinner socks, they would rub my ankle bones raw. Sadly I had to return them. Not sure what I'll do for my next pair of shoes.

They run a tad small. Otherwise, I love them. Great on the trail hiking or running and also just walking around town.

This appears to be a well constructed shoe, but I will be returning it due to fit. Not only does it run narrow, it seems to be a half size small in the toe box area, as well.

Great shoe. I needed a dirt road/trail running and hiking shoe. These were out of the box and on to the trail right away as they fit perfectly. Very comfortable. I have a wide toe box area and narrow heel with high arches. These are great for me!

This shoe was very stiff and therefore was not comfortable what do ever.

I reviewed the size chart and it recommend an 8 but it is like half size too big. And arch isn't in proper place and they seen a little stiff compared to the saucony's I am used to. All to say I won't be returning them, they are still capable and I should say cute.

Comfortable right out of the box! Great for hiking and biking. Have trekked through mud and the moisture evaporated quickly.

I’m so confused! I bought this exact shoe 2 years ago and loved it from day 1, but these new ones are still almost unbearably narrow and stiff after 5 long wears. I got my first pair when I worked at animal shelter, and I put them through hell walking strong dogs and cleaning. They were actually recommended by another employee after I kept having to replace other brands’ sneakers but didn’t want to wear boots in the heat. This shoe was the perfect balance! Maybe they changed how they make them? I‘ve worn them too much to return them, so hopefully they get better. Bummer.

This is my first experience with Salomon, and it won't be my last! I am not a runner, but running shoes work well to prevent my knee pain from flaring up. This shoe is firm and supportive, with excellent arch support. Appears to be well made. Stylish. Highly recommend.

This is probably my 6th pair of Salomons and my second pair of this version. I love the wider toe box. The tread didn’t last very long on my last pair, but quite a bit of road running in them.

I have loved my Salomons in the past but these ran more narrow than others I have had. I had to return them. The medium felt like a narrow.

I have 3 pairs of this exact shoe in the past and love them, but this most recent purchase was not even close to as comfortable as the others I have had. My previous ones were soft and comfortable right out of the box, these were hard and stiff. Seems like they changed the way they make them. I really wanted them to work out but I returned them. Bummed, now I'm on the search for a new sneaker.

There is an area just where the toes meet the feet at the base of the tongue on the shoe, that for whatever reason cuts pretty deep and therefor is uncomfortable across the foot. My other Solomons do not do this. They are great looking but I couldn't get past that.
