Been a long time wearer of Nimbus. This model is quite a bit smaller than previous 10.5 4E's I have worn.

These fit well. I tried the Gel Kayano 22s, but they were too short. But these were fine. 11 1/2 D. Also, I like the blue highlights.

True to size. Feels like I'm running on a cloud. Ever since I had plantar fasciitis diagnosed, these asics are the only running shoes I've found comfort in. I wish they came in all leathers so I can weat mine to work too. Excellent buy. Absolutely no regrets!!!!

Nimbus 18 continues the Nimbus streak of a great ride. I've been running in the Nimbus for years. After a huge improvement in cushion and feel on last year's model, the improvement this year is less noticeable but still the go to shoe for neutral step runners looking for a nice cushion for street running.

These shoes are the best. High arch, comfortable. I wear my Asics shoes all day mostly on my feet. Thanks, Zappos!

I have high arches and wear custom orthotics so I need space in the shoe. Historically I have worn a Nike Tailwind but have found that the overall mid foot and forefront cushioning to not be as comfortable as prior versions. Seeing so many people wearing Asics at races, I figured they must be comfortable shoes. And boy are they! I've only logged about 25 miles but I know that this will be my go to shoe from now on. I tried several Nike and New Balance shoes at Dicks and there were no comparisons. Sorry Nike.

Cushy pillowy ride. Good amount of room in toe box. Should work for daily trainer.
Felt great right out of the box.

I've been running in Asics Nimbus shoes for years. I wear size 11, width 4E. I have several miles on my new Nimbus 18 shoes and I find them true to size, true to width and true to the Nimbus cushion with still a good feel for the road. This latest Nimbus 18 version is as good or better than any shoe I've ever used. I love it that Asics made the 4E in black.

I used to wear Nike all the time but since I've switched to ASICS Gel's I'm never going back. Most shoes need broken in but these are the best right out of the box. I now have 4 pair Red, Green, Black and now blue.

My son had been complaining of heel pain. I ordered him these, and he's had no complaints! He says he will always get these shoes! Zappos has been nothing but fantastic when we had a couple issues with his 17's. Thank you Zappos for your wonderful customer service that is so hard to find these days!

These are great shoes. I have been in these since Nimbus 15. The fit stays true from model to model. I tried a different model from Asics and they hurt. I went back to Nimbus and all is good. I hate all the white close to the soles, that is hard to keep clean.

Hands down probably some of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. The only downside that I have with these shoes is that my heel slips on the back of the shoe. This in turn, causes blisters to my feet. I have worn the back hill down so much that the material has rubbed off. Now there is no more blisters, but it took me some time to get through the trial of having to deal with the rubbing. Now, they are worn in and comfortable. I tried on the Gel 360s in the store, and still felt that the Nimbus 18s were more comfortable. If you are riding the fence about purchasing these shoes, I say take the dive! Truly some very durable and comfortable shoes. Love them!

This is my second pair of Asics and really like them. I switched to them after having pain in my foot. I am a walker and these shoes feel great and I have no pain. I normally wear a 9 1/2, but did need a size in these shoes.

My husband loves the shoes but I did have to return and get a half size bigger than his usual running shoe size.

I use these for running (only 10 miles per week). Most running shoes are advertised for "normal to slightly pronate" running styles, but my shoes wear on the outer edges first, so I decided to try a "normal to slightly supine" shoe. While the difference is not dramatic, it definitely helps. I also have wide feet and these fit really well. Very comfortable. Give these a try if you have wide feet or a supinated gait.

I have a pair of Nimbus 17 in 12.5 2E and loved them, but they are ragged out that I needed replacements, so I ordered the same size in the Nimbus 18.
Overall they are good with good cushioning for my bad knees, but they do seem just slightly smaller than the older version. I have almost a thumb between my big toe and the end, so a 13 would be far too big. My feet are wide in front, so maybe I should have opted for the 4E instead of 2E, but I already wore them out, so now we'll just see how things shake out.
Hopefully they'll loosen up a tad as I break them in. My 17s are really worn, so it's hard to compare the two.

Nice shoe for a guy with big feet (like me) who needs a wide toe-box. Plus the color is not too over the top for we geezers.

ASICS are good shoes. Made the mistake of buying a 1/2 size larger than what I always buys.

After wearing these particular shoes for a while, over a month, they started rubbing my heels and caused blisters. Have tried thicker socks, same problem. I paid $150 for them at the time. Won't do that again.

These shoes are amazing. They are my new favorite athletic shoe right out of the box. I've always been a fan of Asics, but lately the ones I've tried haven't had the arch support I love. These did! I read several reviews before ordering and I'm glad I did. The suggestion was to order 1/2 size larger. That's what I did and they fit perfectly. As always, Zappos exceeded my expectations for customer service. I ordered them one afternoon and they arrived 24 hours later. Thank you Zappos for the excellent customer service!

The toebox is wide-width but the arch is definitely NOT for wide feet. Shoe felt half size small. Shoes are not comfortable (to me).

I bought these shoes to replace a pair of Asics GT-2170. I run 10 to 15 miles a week, mainly road work, and a slight underpronator. The shoes were comfortable, but I bought them in a 2E for additional room in the toe box. They have a little more arch support than my previous shoes. The gel sole provides excellent cushioning in the heel, but only average under the front of the foot. They have a 10mm drop, which is the profile I prefer for road work. For treadmills I prefer a flatter shoe. I paid $150 and expect to get at least 200 miles on these shoes before I notice significant wear. I am particular about shoes, but I would recommend these if you are a neutral to underpronator
