These are the best running shoes out there! Just bought these for my husband- he's on his 3rd pair of Gel-Nimbus. I finally caved and bought myself a pair as well. Totally get it now- I'll only be purchasing these in the future. Worth every penny!

I put just under 300 miles in a previous pair. When it was time for a new pair got the same ones from Zappos. The customer service is always great!

Bought these for my husband to replace his previous generation ASICS. These are the only shoe he will run with. He tried switching over to Nike's at some point and immediately regretted it. According to him, the ASICS provide the support for runners.

Purchased these for my father-in-law who has plantar fasciitis for everyday wear. They have good arch support and are very comfortable.

Asics are the most comfortable athletic shoes that I have ever found -- I now own 7 pairs. I no longer run in the morning, but I do log about 45 miles per week walking my dog and just enjoying the fact that I don't have to work anymore. Each shoe style if a little different in fit, but the Asics "fit" is still the best out there, especially since (at 68) I still have high arches, and boy do they last! Highly recommended!

This is my 9th pair of Asics Gel - Nimbus shoes. I retired from volleyball after 12 years of knee-wracking to concentrate on table tennis which would be low impact for my joints. Then arthritis flared up in my knees to the point I was contemplating quitting table tennis, but remembered the Asics brand of volleyball shoes with gel I had worn. The first pair of Gel - Nimbus set off a wow factor I did not imagine. It's been 2 years since my arthritis almost disabled me, but these shoes are a god-send allowing me to continue playing competitively for up to 5 hours 3-4 days a week. I am 67 years old and played competitive sports my entire life and cannot imagine sitting on the bench to watch. Thanks to Asics superior cushioning and support, I hope to play for many years to come. Each version gets better; the 9 pairs I have range from Gel - Nimbus 15-18 and worth every penny.

Style: Asics shoes are typically stylish, and this pair is no exception. Lately the colors have been getting “crazy”, but these are pretty subdued. Fit: A great fitting shoe that is wider than the Gel Nimbus 17. Comfort: Very comfortable with more cushion than the Gel Nimbus 17. Comparison: Compared to Gel Nimbus 17. I stick with Asics for my go-to running shoe brand.

I was recommended to purchase these Nimbus 18's from my Foot and Ankle Surgeon. She helped me with the decision making of trying to find the best supporting sneaker for the type of foot I have. I am flat footed and have a wide foot with basically no arch. Well,she hit the mark, they feel great and give me support like no other Asics sneaker I have owned.

I love these shoes so much that I bought 3 pairs for work! Cushioning is excellent and my feet are comfortable all day. I wear an 11 women's and these have room at the toe

My son needed better shoes while at boot camp and I sent him these and he wrote in his letter that it was like running on a cloud!

The red/gray color is very bland/dull looking. Otherwise, great fit and comfort.

This is my husbands second pair of nimbus's. He loves them. He says they help with his bad hip and ankles more than his Brooks.

I have bad feet and do not run shoes seem of high quality but seem about half a size small for size 13

I've had several pairs of the Gel-Nimbus over the last 5 or 6 years, and these are on a par for quality with the others. Very pleased with them.

Apparently, Asics run small. I usually wear size 11.5 w, and when I bought a pair of the Gel-Equation® 8 model in size 12, they were simply too small and too narrow. These feel fantastic, great support in use for walking and stair climbing. Great cushioning. I have the Silver/Ink/Flash Yellow, and they're better looking than what I initially thought.

The Nimbus 18 is a huge improvement over the recent previous models because the toe box finally has more room! The previous were too tight in the toe.

With my wide feet, it's challenging to find a show that I can take out of the box and immediately feel comfortable running in, but these asics seem to fit every time.
