Bought this shoe specifically as a trainer/cardio shoe, and I'm VERY pleased! Honestly, this is probably the most comfortable shoe I've EVER purchased, and that's saying a lot. I have preferred Asics brand shoes for over 25 years, be it for wrestling/MMA, training and/or cardio/running, and this shoe is PERFECT for my personal applications. I like them so much, I'm considering buying another pair in Red/Black!

Wow !!! These shoes feel great. I'm a big time shoe Connoisseur . I have over 100 pair. I like different shoes for different reasons These shoes are light. ,They look great and they feel even better . The I souls are very comfortable while running . I like em a lot. Get em . You wont be disappointed !

I am very happy with these shoes. Very comfortable and great support. I put Superfeet Green insoles in them and the combination is great! I'm an ER nurse and use these for work, 13+ hours a day on my feet. I will buy this model again.

I just received my order for the new Gel-Nimbus 18's and I must say I really think this is the best shoe ever! I keep trying other shoes but for an everyday/walking/running shoe, this shoe has to be the best! Absolutely love this shoe. I'm not exactly a small guy and I don't run a lot, but I am on my feet all day. I also have (what my wife call's "hobbit feet") wide feet and the fact that this shoe comes in wide(4E) is amazing! The cushion inside is super cushy! Plus these shoes are very durable. I usually get a year or two out of these shoes. I'm pretty rough on shoes. Also, Zappos is always fast and easy to deal with! All around a win win for me! I hope if you decide to try these shoes you are also as happy!

I absolutely love the Asics Gel Nimbus shoes and have bought several for the last few years. One of the softest running shoes I've worn. I also use them for cross-training because they offer better support than most "running only" shoes. Having worn 11.5 for the last several years, this model seems a tad tighter in the big toe area... I still have room in the front, but it seems the shoe width/height is a bit smaller than other models. Love the shoe!

These are half size too small. My feet require a 12.5 but needed 13 on these. Otherwise a great running shoe!

Excellent fit and cushion. Had a severe case of plantar faciitis that I ignored for way too long. Bought Asics Gel Nimbus and combined with custom orthotics I'm finally on the mend! They are even comfortable without custom insoles. I used to wear Nike, but since my plantar faciitis no more!

I have plantar fasciitis and have spent too much money trying out tennis shoes, I learned my lesson a few years ago and will now only purchase Asics Gel-Nimbus. Perfect fit and support, I am female and purchase both male and female shoe depending on color, the men's are a little wider (I like this, breaking in not required), if you have a very narrow foot you might not like the men's.

I bought the Asics Gel-Nimbus for my husband and he loves them! He really likes the out-of-the-box comfort and the heel support.

Great shoes, and the grey is very good looking on.

I am 73 and walk about 2 - 3 miles a day and have severe back problems. These shoes really cushion my feet and and allow me to stand on concrete a bit longer than my previous shoes. I have a very high instep and and these shoes lace up much better than others that expose the sides of the shoe tongue. The only thing that I do not like is the shiny plastic design on the outside of the shoe.

I bought these for my dad and dad-in-law. Both do a lot of walking to keep young. They both were super happy with the comfort and instant fit (no breaking in). I haven't seen him wear any other shoes since he got these! Found that Asics fit best for all the narrow feet in the family!

Wishing for the asics nimbus 18 style to change. Looking like spider man! Great support, excellent for running. Get about 350-400 miles in them running

Look great and feel great. Could not wait to get these so I could run in them. I got in a rut with my running and wasn't motivated....but new running shoes always get me motivated to run. I find myself wanted to wear them all the time because they're so comfortable.

I have a wide foot and Asics men's shoes fit me the best! I love them!

These shoes fit so well on my size 8, 4E feet, that I could not be happier. Still have the S303N Asics which have been great except for being a bit to wide. These Nimbus were extremely well fitting and comfortable the minute I put them on. Do not know how they will wear over time, but I suspect it will be good. The service from Zappos cannot be better. Thank you.

Love these shoes. Sooo cushioned in the heal. I did not find the womans wide to be wide enough, so I tried the mens and it worked perfectly. Tried less expensive Asic and kept coming back to these. Bought 2 pairs in electric blue...a good unisex color!

I am not a runner. Yes, I know crazy when paired with someone who wears Asics. However, I have had a number of surgeries on my foot, ankle and Achilles and it is critical that I find the perfect shoe. No exaggeration on tried on 20 pairs of sneakers from a variety of brands before I landed on the Nimbus 18. Not only to love the color (Poseidon) but it is a shoe I can wear all day and never experience a great deal of pain. They fit very well in the arch and toes, though it is very snug on the top of the foot. Others have expressed that 18 is a step down from 17, but no complaints here.

My son Max wears a size 14 sneaker. He likes the flexibility and comfort of these. Sneakers are all he wears so he is tough on them and these hold up to the punishment. Great shoe, great comfort, great support and good price. It's a Win Win for us.

I bought these for my husband after wearing the gel nimbus 18 myself. Very comfortable and supportive. I bought a half size up based on other reviews.

These are my second pair of the same model from Asics. The first pair are being primarily used for hospital work and they feel great! I get about 10k steps per work day. I have already recommended these to everyone!
