This is probably my 5th pair of Asics, recommended by a pedorthist because of chronic plantar fasciitis. I mistakenly ordered the wrong size this time around and tried to wear them. When it became clear they weren't going to work out, I contacted Zappos about getting a discount on ordering the right size. They were very kind and allowed me to exchange the shoes - even though they had been used - for the right size because I've been a loyal customer. I love the shoe and am very grateful to Zappos for being so understanding. Great customer service.

I always buy Asics Gel-Nimbus in a 9.5 to ensure enough room in the toe box, I have at least 3 other pairs. These run very small, there is no room in the toe box. I wish I had spent a few minutes in them before I went for a run, I would have sent them back. I would order a 10 if I redid it.

I have very narrow heels and bunions on both feet. I ordered the narrow to accommodate my heels, but they rubbed the bunions terribly and were painful after a few minutes. I called Zappos customer service to get any suggestions of other brands and they suggested I try the mediam, It worked!! Is well padded and comfortable. I use it just for walking. By the way, customer service even called back to check up!!

The Gel-Nimbus 18 is my favorite shoe. These shoes are so comfortable, with so much cushioning in the heel. I love these so much that I have them in several different colors. They are fabulous.

I ordered these in a wide to compare them to the same size of the Nimbus 18 regular since I heard so much about how the toe box was narrow. Believe it or not, the blue Nimbus 18 regular had more room in the toe box then this one in wide!! So I ended up sending these back and keeping the regular. Definitely order size up.

Beautiful sneaker!! toebox is tight like others have said so got a wide and ordered one size up. Cushion around ankle is a bit higher then others I have worn. Mainly got for positive reviews for people with plantar fasciitis. Will report back after I have worn them a few times!

I love these shoes although I was disappointed that the sizing changed drastically from the Nimbus 17's. I normally wear a size 7 (casual shoe), but go up one size in an athletic shoe (size 8). With these, I had to return the size 8's and get an 8.5 before they felt comfortable. If you order these, definitely go up a size or more.... it's a hit or miss with these. Zappos customer support is on point.. easy return/exchange! LOVE Zappos!!!!!

I am so glad I returned the first pair and got a second. The first pair were so uncomfortable. The tongue sat on the bone on the side of my inner foot, and I had a deep indentation there from wearing for just a few minutes. I was really bummed b/c they were so cushiony and comfortable. I am not a runner, but I like wearing running shoes b/c they are comfortable. I ordered a second pair in hopes that it was a fluke or a bad pair, and it was... Long story short, Great shoe and so comfortable.

I switched to this model after the latest Gel-Kayama seemed too narrow - not sure why they changed! I have a wide food due to foot surgeries. But this one is better so far - just started wearing this week.

Amazing shoes! The gel cushioning in forefoot and rear feel like walking on a cloud! Need to buy 1/2 size bigger and D width to get comfort though. Produce in more colors for wide width.

Great shoe. Lots of cushion, great shoe just like their nimbus 17. The nimbus 18 seems slightly smaller, consider 1/2 size larger if you think that will be an issue. Very comfortable and the back of this shoe comes up slightly higher in the back Achilles area than previous shoes but not a problem for me. Overall another great shoe from asics.

The shoe is nice looking, but the fit is much more narrow than marked.

My podiatrist recommended this brand and style to assist with my plantar fasciitis and high arches. I wear these to work on a daily basis and they were comfortable but not near comfortable enough to warrant spending $150 especially when within 3 weeks the soles were lifting at the edges. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because they ARE light. Did not last long at all. highly disappointed. I have no problem investing money in sneakers that wear well. I expected these to last 4-6 months but I only got approx. one month of reasonable wear out of them before the lifting soles caused problems. I think it's inherent in this brand because the last pair of Asics I bought did the same. I gave them one more try on the off chance the last pair were a freak problem. But NOPE! Sorry ASICS, you've lost a customer.

for years I've run in Asics but this year I tried both the Kayano and the Nimbus with no luck. The Nimbus 18 feels super cushiony at first but there is little to no support, especially in the heel (which seems to squish down too far). The sizing is also a little short. Maybe on other feet they would work great but unfortunately they didn't work for me.

Love these shoes! So comfortable. Bought them 2 weeks before a half marathon and they felt amazing during the race! I'm sticking with the nimbus for running.

Sadly I must return these good looking shoe. I ordered a 91/2 wide and it is just to tight on my bunion. The toe box also seemed a little skimpy in the height as I could see the tops of my toes on the top of the shoe. I know if I kept them I would have issues in. few weeks and for the price I was not going to take that chance. So the search continues. Thank goodness for Zappos wonderful shipping and return policy.

I love this shoe. I've had a Nimbus before, which was fine, but this newer model is more cushioned and comfortable. Nice wide toe box, which I need. And the colors work with my gym wear.

Love these shoes so much! They make my plantar fasciitis unnoticeable while wearing them! I am glad I read the reviews and went with the wide for the larger toe box!! Highly recommended!!

So much foam padding that they feel a half size too short on the inside while clunky on the outside. This may get better with wear, but I opted for another style. Returning these. Sad, since I like the style and coloring and the overall feel.

I am so disappointed with the Nimbus this time. I've been a long time supporter of this shoe and it doesn't even feel like the same style now. It doesn't fit my foot and pinches even with going to a larger size. It makes me upset and I wasted $150 on shoes I can't wear comfortably. I need to look for new brand and/or style.

I'm a nurse I work long hours,great fit and support,no break in period,however I have a difficult time finding my size 11wide,I would like to purchase more in this style,would like to purchase other colors,please notify me when more arrive.

A foot surgeon referred me to the owner of a local running shoe store trained and skilled in finding shoes for problem feet. After trying several brands, we guessed that the ASICS Gel Nimbus 18 would be the shoe for me and it was ordered in my size, but did not arrive for many weeks. In the meantime, it returned to stock at Zappos. The shoe is fabulously comfortable, but I still had to cut a slit over my bunion--in spite of getting the wide size. Otherwise, it's a very good shoe for me to walk in. I have custom orthotics, but I don't need them in this shoe.
