Great running shoe, can't go wrong with gel nimbus.

Got these for my wife to train for a Disney run. She says they are the best she's had.

This is probably the most comfortable shoe I've ever tried on. The width was a little snug so i am returning and ordering a larger size.

Beautiful shoe but runs small. I normally wear a women's size 12 but read the reviews and decided to get a 12.5. That was too snug and now I need to take back and order a 13 which is their largest women's size. I hope that works!

Wearing this shoe is like walking on a cloud, your feet say ahhh. I had to return them because the medium were a little narrow for one of my feet. I could have gone to a wide, but didn't want to risk another return, so I bought my standard Cumulus.

This athletic shoe is the best fit I have found for my narrow foot and heel. I work out on eleptical machine, tread mill, and do aeoribic exercies during which my feet feel snug and well supported in these shoes.

fits true to size and has excellent cushion to both the ball of your foot, arch and heel. Only negative is that the toe bed is very shallow so I can feel the tops of my toes rub on longer walks. I'm hoping this will stretch out a bit and that it won't result in a hole in the mesh faster than usual.

Good substitute for Kayano model that has changed the toe box. Toebox and arch support are perfect (not too roomy like Brooks for my foot). Ankle support is excellent (not too shallow like Saucony for me). Got 1/2 size bigger than my usual dress shoe size for running. Outstanding service, Zappos!

This shoe runs short had to go up 1/2 size. cushion does not seem to be that good had to add orthotics for better support. Style is ok what I wanted was sold out.

Asics lovers will not be disappointed. My daughter is a college student and lives in these shoes. She has worn Asics for years and she is very happy with her new pair! She is a 71/2 m and these fit perfectly!

First, I cannot believe how fast I received these shoes! Second, they are like clouds. Holy cow. I now see what all the other reviewers were talking about. I bought these to replace an older pair and they are simply fantastic. I cannot wait to wear them on my run tomorrow. I put them on to check for size/comfort when I received about 2 hours ago and haven't been able to bring myself to take them off. They look ridiculous with what I am wearing but they are so beyond comfortable that I don't care. :) I'm just hanging out at the house anyway. Excellent shoe in terms of comfort and style. I can only imagine how good they will feel on my run. I am a size 8 but I always go up a bit in running shoes to protect my toes. These are an 8.5 and are perfect.

Love this shoe. Very soft yet supportive. Ordered a narrow instead of medium and it feels a little short but able to wear comfortably.

This is the third pair of Asics I've returned in the last month. For years, I've worn a 12N in this brand. I'm not a runner so I'm not addicted to a particular model; just any attractive Asics shoe in 12N would do perfectly for me. Well, that's no longer true! Every single pair is TOO SHORT. I've tried 3 different models and gone up to 13N. Nothing fits. So I did some research on other sites and found many comments which concurred. Someone discovered that fit depended on which Asian country the shoe was manufactured in. She did this by going to her local athletic shoe store and having the manager pull several boxes of the identical shoe. In this way she was able to find one that fit. Since I can't ask Zappos to do this (wonderful as they are!), I'm going to have to find another brand. I'm open to any suggestions!

I have worn Asics for years. I have worn them as a runner, and I have worn them as a casual shoe. Something has happened to the design of every shoe style of Asics. I purchased my usual Nimbus in my usual size, and they were too small in the footbed. I purchased one size larger (thank goodness for Zappos returns!), and even though they fit, they cause my toes to cramp after only wearing them for 15 minutes. I have tried to wear them for a couple of days to break them in, but they are still causing my feet to cramp. I have even tried the Kayano, and they also cramp my toes. Asics - if you see this, please go back to the design of 3 years ago. In the meantime, I am switching brands. Thank you Zappos for being patient with me.

I always wear Asics for walking and running. I love the Nimbus. Its great if you need a neutral shoe as far as the fit goes. Wearing these is like walking on a cloud. So much cushion. I wear an 81/2 in other types of shoes but I buy a size 9 in these.

I was a firm supporter of Asics - but these shoes actually made parts of my feet go numb - absolutely no arch support - working 12 hr shifts / must have a good supportive shoe - these are definitely not it - VERY disappointed

Thank goodness for Zappos and its extensive offering of extended sizes. The Gel Nimbus 18 is the only shoe that works for me. I do a lot of running (not fast) and walking. They aren't too narrow up around my toes like another Asics style. This is my 5th pair. I put on a lot of miles on these babies. Cushy. Durable. As far as tennis shoes go, cute color combinations.

I have been wearing ASICS for 15+ years. This is the first pair in which I am totally disappointed. The tongue on the right shoe is sewn on an angle. I did not notice this until I'd worn the shoes 2 or three times to the gym and to run. The tongue kept sliding way to the right. I contacted ASICS directly yo ask about a replacement pair and they directed me to their web site where I could purchase a new $150 pair.

I decided to try the Nimbus model after years of wearing Brooks Adrenaline running shoes. As much as I wanted to keep them because I loved the colors and the look,I returned them--I have a high arch and found the Brooks had more support. I also did not like how "soft" the soles felt compared to brooks.

Fell apart immediately. Extremely disappointing for the price. Seeking a refund if possible. I've had other sneakers that last me for years, these frayed on the inner edge of the foot opening within 3 wears. Now they look like my old ratty sneakers instead of nice new ones. Pretty but useless if they look so ratty.

A family member swears by Gel Nimbus so thought I would treat myself to a pair of Nimbus 18. My feet are in heaven with the super-cushioned support. I ordered a D width since I typically look for athletic shoe brands with a wider toe box. I wear size 8.5 or 9 in regular shoes, but always buy 9.5 in athletic shoes and found the 9.5 D-width fit perfectly. This model is designed for supinators (under pronators) like myself and provide the ultimate amount of foot protection. Expect to pay full price for this model, as they are superior and as the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for." I'm not a runner anymore, but my shoes are literally my transportation in the high walk-score neighborhood where I live and work. Money should not be spared when it comes to protecting our feet, especially for those of us who are runners or who walk A LOT!
