Definitely my favorite. I got a D width to make sure I had a big enough toe box and ordered one size up and they fit perfectly...like walking on a cloud!!!

I should have heeded the feedback and ordered a half size larger. The toe box is definitely smaller with this model. I have worn this type of ASICS running shoes for almost 10 years and can't believe there was so much difference with this shoe as compared to previous years. I used them for 3 months and the shoes have not loosened up.

I am 10 in every shoe I own except this one, which I had to go down a half size. After wearing them for 18 hours (3x a week for 6 weeks), the sole is already coming apart. I'm really disappointed in the quality. I was doing some some very light workouts, and would certainly expect them to hold up much longer. These are the first pair of ASICS that I've purchased and they will also be the last.

Loved the colors and wish the shoe had worked, but I had to return it. It just wasn't comfortable for my fat feet.

The only shoe I can wear. Just not like the "17" style.

Gel-Nimbus is my favorite running shoe. Great cushion, high arch feels like walking on a cloud. I get the new version every year when mine wears out. Been waiting for this awesome design to go on sale.

This is the 2nd pair of Gel-Nimbus I've had and they are the best! I'm on my feet all day on a cement floor and the heel cushion is amazing. If you want style and comfort these are the ones.

Finally found a great shoe again that doesn't look obnoxious! I used to easily find go-to walk/jogging shoes. New Balance, Asics, Saucony, done. I also never had to size up. Then all of a sudden, sneakers in stores were hideous, colors got out of control. Then functionally they all became socks or parkour shoes or shoes for spinning. I want cushiony, bouncy shoes for pavement that don't look hideous. I've bought and returned more than five pair of shoes in the past three months because I've given up on finding them in a store, and I've finally found the sweet spot. I DID have to size up on this shoe, and it fits perfectly. Just the right cushion, a nice ankle that grabs your heel so you don't slide around and get blisters - and gives you some support. I don't need a high top but these low cut spinning shoes are worthless for ankle support. I've read some reviews that these aren't as comfortable as their predecessors, but for me they were light years more comfortable than anything I've tried on in a year. I will say that they actually got MORE comfortable the longer I walked around in them. They molded to my feet. Give them a chance before you return them and see. I'm so tempted to buy 10 of these because so many brands finally have a great thing and then discontinue it. This one is a winner - finally.

These seem to probably be fine shoes, but they're not the running shoes for me. I had to return them because they were really crunching my toes in the toe box, in spite of the fact that I purchased the size that has always fit perfectly. It's not just that theses shoes are narrower: they also seem to be shorter and differently shaped? I've been wearing Asics running shoes exclusively for almost twenty years and have loved them. It was great to be able to just order online and know they'd fit just right and perform perfectly. Now I have to start all over again and put time into finding a brand and a size that work well for me. I wish they hadn't done this re-sizing!

This shoe feels slightly smaller than other Asics that I've had in the past. My toes feel somewhat cramped. When buying this shoe, I would buy a half size larger than you normally wear.

Love this shoe! It has lots of cushion around the ankle. It is my second pair of gel-nimbus and they cannot be beat.

These are my first pair of Asics Gel-Nimbus 18. When I put them on they seemed to fit perfectly. Went on a 4 mile power walk to break them in and 2 miles into it my right foot ball area was burning so bad I didn't think I was going to make it back! Not impressed at all! I need a neutral shoe with good cushioning. I recently bought a pair of Brooks that are awesome and no foot pain whatsoever. I saw great reviews on the Asics and wanted another pair to alternate with. So, now I'm stuck with these shoes and can't wear them because the lack of cushioning.

Love these Asics Nimbus shoes for running! They never disappoint!

Asics what have you done to the Gel Nimbus? I have owned several pair, they were my go to shoe for comfort and support. Not anymore, very disappointed.

This is my fourth pair of Gel-Nimbus. I've tried other Asics styles but always come back to Gel-Nimbus. I have narrow feet and Asics is one of the few sneakers I can find in narrow widths. Shoes are comfortable and stylish. Highly recommend. And Zappos - they are the best. I had a problem with a different style of Asics a while back and Zappos fixed me right up. I rarely shop anywhere else for shoes!

I've been running is the Nimbus since the 15's and this is my second pair of 18's. I love them and so do my feet. I would however recommend ordering a half size up. I normally wear an 8 but the 8.5 felt like a better fit for my normal width feet.

I'm not sure exactly what the problem with these were, but they were the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. I bought this because I was looking for a shoe that would be more supportive and comfortable. I attempted to break them in for two weeks with little success. Within one mile of walking, the three small toes on my left foot would start throbbing and do so on and off for the remainder for the walk. Farther into my walk, my left calf would also start throbbing. I went back to my $40 pair of Champion shoes with not much support a couple days ago, and there was absolutely no sign of the problem I was having with the Nimbus. The shoes were adorable, and I really wanted them to work. My heal also kept coming out the back of the shoe. I went into an Asics store today to find a better fitting shoe and someone suggested a shoe that was more firm. I went with the Dynaflyte. Hopefully, those work better.

Best pair of Gel-Nimbus I have ever owned. They were comfy as soon as I put them on. Very durable--I wear them 14+ hours daily.

I usually wear a 7/7.5, but for these I got an 8 because a friend said they run about a half size smaller. They're so comfortable and it feels like walking on clouds. They don't provide enough arch support for my flat feet and I am a bit worried that my new insoles won't fit in them, but I haven't gotten any pains walking in them so far (haven't tried out a run yet). Overall, a beautiful shoe!

great comfortable shoes! In my opinion, Asics tend to run narrow and small. For example, in a reebok shoes I wear an 11 regular.... in Asics shoes I wear a 12 wide.

These are even cushier than my other running shoes. I am not a runner, but need the extra cushioning since I have narrow feet with little volume (top to bottom). I use Orthopedic insoles in these, so can't confirm the ache support, but I do work in a warehouse environment and am on my feet for many hours at a time and these are comfortable. As far as the true to size, they may be a 1/2 size small, but that could be due to my insert.

I have a narrow foot (and purchased the AA). For some reason my heel feels very unstable in the Nimbus, whereas the Cumulus holds it firmly.

I have worn this model shoe for 6 years. Always in gray palette. Ordered these because that color not available. I took one run in them and it was as if the bottom of my feet had an allergic reaction to the shoe material (wearing my regular socks), my feet felt like they were burning. And they were red when I took shoes off. Very weird. Will try another pair.

I always love my Asics--I just feel like these really make my size 10 feet look three sizes bigger. They are so comfortable, so I am working to overlook the bulkiness...

When wearing them for walking long distance, my heals would rub and I would get terrible blisters. I did a heal lock when lacing and that helped.
