I like them. They are comfortable, suitable for work.

I have a pair of these from last year and so was just looking to replace them. I tried many other Adidas, including the newer Gel-Nimbus-19 (it's like a completely different, utterly redesigned shoe!) I found them all to be too narrow in the toe box. I even tried a wide width to no avail. I ended up keeping these is a crazy color that still had my size. I did size up a half size but these are just SO incredibly comfortable that there was no comparison. Roomy toe box, good arch support, well-cushioned heel back area – no need to "break them in" these shoes are ready out of the box!

This is my second pair of Asics Gel sneaks and they are definitely going back. I ordered my usual 13W (D) and they are terribly narrow in the toe box. I'm currently wearing them at work with no actual exercise, and this is even painful. I can't wait to get home to take these off.

cut shorter than previous Nimbus models. Would need at least 1/2 size larger. Sadly have to return.

These shoes were a D width, and they'd be great for those with "normally wide" feet and no bunions!. Unfortunately, because my feet are so wide, they were a little snug and rubbed a bit on my bunions and slipped a bit at the heel. (I think Asics also run small, so if you usually get a size 8, get a size 9 instead.) I had tried on an ASICS Gel-Numbus 19 size 9M at a store, and they were very comfortable and had a great gel cushioning, but they were not wide enough (I had to try a 9 rather than my normal 8). At $160 they were also too expensive. I saw the Gel Nimbus 18 here, so decided to try them after reading the reviews.

Loved the Nimbus 17's but needed a wider width. Was glad to see the "D" was available in 18! Hope I'm not disappointed in cushioning as others have been. (I've been sick so not worn outside yet). But I can tell you I feel no difference in width. My only reason for ordering the shoe, and don't feel like sending back should never order shoes online!

So excited to find these back in stock and so I quickly purchased them! These are the most comfortable running shoes ever and I can't wait for them to show up. They are like running on clouds and look stunning with all the bright colors and pattern. I have the NYC ones and get asked all the time where I got them and I proudly say, Zappos!!!! If you're on the fence about the Gel-Nimbus, buy them because you won't be sorry.

I absolutely love these shoes!! My old pair of Asics Gel Extreme 33 had finally given out and I needed another comfortable, eye-catching pair so I was happy to see that these Nimbus 18s came in bright bold colors! A friend of mine has been raving about her Nimbus 18s and I decided to take the plunge and get a pair. I was not disappointed! I find them super comfortable (especially the padding around the ankle) and I get lot of compliments on the funky yellow color. Very happy with this purchase!

My earlier two pairs of Gel Nimbus 17 finally wore out, and I was very disappointed that I could not find them again. However when I found these, the gel Nimbus 18, they are just as good or better! Absolutely love them, bought two pair

I purchased several Asics shoes. In the past, they always fit perfectly right out of the box. The last few pairs have not been good and this pair was the worst yet. The shoes no longer run true to size...they have been smaller and more narrow in the toe box. Even the "wide" width are now too narrow. Very disappointed in Asics. They used to make great shoes.

I used to love Asics, but with every model change, this shoe has just gotten worse and worse. It's tight! Way too narrow. The shoe box pinches. I was getting blisters on the ends of my toes, which had never happened before. It changed my running style and my entire left leg was compromised. I just switched to the Brooks Glycerins - ran 12 miles in them to break them in lol. No blisters, no squished toes and super comfortable. No more Asics for me.

I did not buy these from Zappos. I bought them at a running shoe store where they were recommended to me because of the way I walk. Normally I have to wear orthotics, but I don't with these! They are super comfortable. I tell people it feels like I'm walking on clouds. Usually with running shoes I notice this effect goes away after they're worn in, but I've had these for about 6 months now and they are still as comfortable as ever! I have wide feet and they fit very well. My only wish was that they came in more neutral colors instead of these really bright ones.

Very comfortable but not very durable. After only 2 1/2 months of moderate activity I can already see my toe through the top of the shoe. Also appears to be a very soft tread wearing away fairly easily.

Love the look of the shoe. However, after a month the sole is stating to pull away more and more every day. I only use these at the gym, not for outdoor activities.

Asics really screwed up when they reduced the size of their toe box several years ago. I needed to replace my old Gel Nimbus, and these pressed down on my big toes. These have the great Gel Nimbus cushioning and arch support. They run a half size smaller than older Asics shoes - I wear a 6 in regular shoes but always wore a 7 in athletic shoes and all Asics. I needed a 7 1/2 to get this shoe to fit. I have tried numerous Asics styles, and all of them press down on my big toes to some degree. I tried Brooks as an alternate - great room in the toe but not very good arch support.

These are a little bright. I like them but I got the thumbs down from the family. I wear athletic shoes almost all the time for support so I need them to go with multiple outfits. The heels feel a little too squishy too.

I normally would buy a wide shoe, but his one fits perfectly. Generously sized toe box. Pure comfort for walking. My only request from ASICS is that they would repeat some of their previous, more adventurous color combos.

I've been wearing the nimbus line for 9 years after I was diagnosed with plantars faciitis and have never been disappointed. I have prescription orthotics and they work great with them and provide excellent arch support for my flat feet. I'm very active in the gym so I use them for cross training, running, cardio machines, HITT training and step classes. My only complaint this time is I didn't get my first preference for color due to my size being out of stock.

Don't usually write reviews, but my experience with ZAPPOS was so exceptional that I wanted to share with others. I have injured both knees and doctor advised to wear shoes that will support and relieve pressure on the joints. These gel nimbus 18 Asics do the job. The fit and support more than met the requirements. Also purchased 2 pairs of skechers on the go and a pair of cloudsteppers by clark. All shoes were of highest quality I will be buying from ZAPPOS again. Try ZAPPOS and enjoy high quality products and superior customer service.

I have been wearing Asics Nimbus for many generations and still like this one better than any other shoe although I agree that it seems a little more narrow than previous incarnations. My foot is wide-ish so that was one reason I liked the Nimbus. Also, I am somewhat of a larger runner and feel this shoe provides great cushioning for me. I recommend it.
