Terrible shoes, I'm typically a huge asics fan but I wore these for my 12 hour work shift and ended up getting blisters.

Ordered these because I was having knee pain when running and I'm never going back to anything else. Perfect shoe for a neutral running who needs the shock absorption this shoes provides. Feels like your foot is sinking into memory foam!

I should have listened to the reviewers who said this shoe ran short. I've always worn Asics Gel Nimbus and I've always worn a 7 M. I did heed the advice to go wider, and I remember my previous pair of Gel Numbuses seemed narrower than the one before. BUT. The 7W was too short for my foot, and my toes hit the end. Also, the toe box tapers down and presses on my big toes. That should not be happening, and makes me wonder if Asics is cutting corners. I disagree with other reviewers, though, that the cushioning is deficient. Still has wonderful Gel Nimbus cushioning and feels soft. It's just too darn short. I'll try a 7 1/2, but I'll bet I end up going to a different brand. Sad, after wearing this brand and style for over 10 years.

I usually wear a size 12 in athletic shoes, however this shoe felt too short. I ordered 1/2 size larger, thank goodness it was in stock. I plan to use this shoe for walking. They are very comfortable

My new favorite running shoes...these feel like I'm running on a cloud. I run about 30 miles per week and these shoes have held up beautifully. Unlike other running shoes I've used, the insole that comes in these is a good enough quality to use, rather than the usual replacements I've had to purchase with other brands. As with all running shoes, it is recommended to size up a half to full size. I normally wear a size 6 1/2 - 7 shoe and I use these in size 7 1/2. I highly recommend these.

I have plantar fasciitis and have found the gel nimbus to be a supportive shoe. Good arch support!

This is my second pair. I like the breathability and the fact that it fits my narrow feet. It unfortunately tends to fall apart a little sooner than I'd like but it's still a great shoe.

Have finally found a sneaker with a lot of cushion to it. I am on my feet for 6 or more hours a day in a workplace with cement floors. These are the most comfortable shoes I have found. I was wearing Brooks but these are working better for me although the Brooks feel more stable.

This shoe is very comfortable due to the gel made inside the shoe. The toe box is wide. I bought a half size larger to place custom orthotics in my shoe for intense workouts to alleviate bruised toenails from my toe hitting the top of the shoe. I switched over to this brand from New Balance. I plan to buy another pair soon. I highly recommend this shoe.

I've been wearing the Keyanos for the last year & was amazed by how much more comfortable the Nimbus are! They feel like memory foam insoles, very nice! When I first put them on, the heel cushion and tongue of the shoe felt a little bulky, but after wearing them for awhile, I barely noticed. I'm a nurse & on my feet for long periods of time & would highly recommend these shoes!

These sneakers are great. I order the same ones every time they wear out and I love them. The colors are fun also!

This shoe ran narrow in the toe but wide in the heel. There wasn't as much support as the Nimbus 19, I found it to be way more comfortable than the 18. Since I'm a nurse and do a lot of walking all day I need a shoe with good support.

The Gel Nimbus is the only shoe that I can wear to run in. It is super comfortable and helps with my over pronation. You literally feel like you are running on cushions (in a good way, of course!) Asics tend to run small, so I always purchase a 1/2 size up. I am in love with the turq/iris color of these shoes too! They make me happy. I should also mention that the purple striping has a little bit of purple shimmer in it. You can't see that on the computer screen. :)

I've worn the basics Nimbus for running for several years now. I have a high arch, so I put an insert with a firm arch support in, and I'm good to go. These fit true to size and are very comfortable.

I always go up a full-size in sneakers and I always wear Asics. These cramped my toes, but slipped off my heels, which seems to be a recurring theme with this brand lately. Back they go.

I wore these shoes today for the 1st time & I can't say enough about them. I run about 3-6 miles 4-5 times a week on blacktop & concrete (I just started running last June so I'm working my way up). I have been having lots of trouble with blisters, sore knees and bruised heels (I run hard on my heels) but today was like running on a cloud! I was so excited that I finally found a good shoe for me. I've used other Asics & Nike & none of them have felt like today! I will be ordering more of these (especially from Zappos cause you can't beat the super fast delivery!!!)

The 18 is a solid neutral cushion choice for long distance running. I've logged several half marathons and a couple marathons in them. Asics runs about half size smaller so I'm used to sizing up just a tad to allow room in the toe box so no toenail loss. It fits more snugly in the heel area which is an improvement over the last few generations. I ordered another 18 after the release of the 19 which is a completely different shoe...that I don't like. It is a heavier choice but has good structure in case you're off road racing. It has survived trail runs and an unexpected mud trail.

Asics Nimbus lower than 19 are excellent. Best shoe I have for comfort and wearabiliy. Asics Nimbus 19 are stiffer, narrower and not nearly as comfortable. OK by me because the later series are generally cheaper.

Great cushion and support for my funky running style with the foot strike on the outside of my foot. I was wearing the cumulus before and I find these to much more comfortable.

I was looking for a comfortable pair of shoes to help alleviate my plantar fasciitis. I found them! Wearing these is like walking on a cloud. They are true to size and a little wider than the high stability Asics I tried and returned.

I used to always run in the cumulus Asics but decided to try something new. I'm glad I did because I think these are bouncier and a little more comfortable for distance running. I bought the ones with the vintage comic book design and they are super cute!! I definitely recommend these!

Amazing shoe! I used to wear the old 2100 Series and loved it! After they changed it I found the Nimbus which is the most similar I've found. Great support! Feels like running on clouds. Buy a half size bigger than you might normally.

Ohh! What have you done to my Asics! I have always worn the Nimbus for my 10.5 sized feet with high arches and have absolutely loved them. I have always gone up a size to an 11 Nimbus sized shoe just to have a touch more toe wiggle room and then used the additional lace hole to "lock my laces" so the shoe doesn't have laces dragging or becoming undone as I go on my daily 4 mile walk. Never, never ever had a problem with my super comfy Nimbus shoe....until this version. My toes are scrunched! It's like some &$#* corporate guy at Asics said "let's save 50 cents a shoe and cut the toe room down on an angle towards the little toe." Well, Mr Asics Corporate guy, I can't go up to an 11.5 if my normal size is a10.5. Locking laces or not, it will not work. I already go up to what was a perfect fit an 11 shoe before you screwed it up! All other aspects of the shoe are great..super cushy, great heal clutch, good design, but they changed the toe area (reduced area). I'll keep my fingers crossed that someone intelligent over at Asics will see the error of their ways and the next version will go back to the previous versions of my Nimbus and give all of us back our roomy toe area, if not, it breaks my heart but Asics will force this long time customer to start looking for another shoe brand!
