Theses shoes are true to size and very comfortable. The colors are so vibrant, I love them.

Super comfortable. Lots of cushion without being overly squishy. Great color to boot!

Very disappointed in these shoes. I have worn Asics in the past, particularly the Nimbus. I purchased two different pair of Asics four months ago and alternate between the two pair. I run about 7 miles once a week and walk in these shoes about 15 miles a week. The rubber on the soles is so soft, it is already worn down. Would not purchase again. Not until they change the soles.

This is a very comfortable shoe with all necessary gel and arch support for running or walking; a bit pricey, however, quality is there for important support for a safe exercise experience. Colors are nice but I care more about the quality of materials which are excellent in this shoe. Size and fit was just the same as the last pair purchased in a walk-in store.

I have tried New Balance, Asics Gel, Nike & Brooks brands looking for a running/training shoe that relieves my recent metatarsal/ball of foot discomfort. Doctor said I need a "neutral" shoe with optimal cushioning at ball of foot, suitable for orthotics. I have a narrow foot & prefer a wide toe box with some wiggle room for toes but a close fit in the balance of the shoe. The Asics Gel Nimbus 18 Narrow is perfect on ALL counts except one. The toe box is narrow & my usual size had to increase by 1/2 size. It is the ultimate cushioning & I've been able to ditch the metatarsal pads and orthotics for everyday & reserve those for high impact activity. A keeper. But order 1/2 size up. Wish they made black. If it doesn't work for you, try New Balance Fresh Foam 1080V6. It's not quite as cushioned, sometimes a good thing, but has a nice wide toe box -- I own 2 pairs.

These are fantastic but run VERY small. I have been running is ASICS for years but have always worn an entire size smaller. I had to return the first part and order the the next whole size up. Other than that they are great long distance running shoes.

As an OR nurse, these shoes are amazing at keeping my feet from hurting after 12-18 hour shifts! This is my 3rd pair of Asics gel Nimbus and no other shoes on the market make my feet feel this good!

Great support; amazing for walking. I wear these to work where I am standing in place on a concrete floor for 8-12 hours a day, and I noticed a huge improvement in how my feet feel during and after work. They used to hurt so badly that I left work limping and was still in pain the following day, but now there's only some discomfort. Highly recommend!

Wore in the house for a few hours and felt good. I have a hammertoe and thought all was good so decided to wear out. Shoes have a lot of front/tongue padding as well as heel padding. Irritated the hammertoe as well as my heel on other foot. Padding in back of shoe (heel) is quite generous & held tight for me. I have a shoe stretcher on the way & hope it helps. Sorry I wore them outside as I can no longer wear them as is!

I have worn the Gel Nimbus shoe for over three years. This change in manufacturer has brought some changes. The shoes do not feel as cushiony when you first put them on. They do soon begin to have a good cushion feeling. These shoes now run very narrow. For the first time in my life I had to go from a narrow to a medium. The medium does not slide around on my extremely narrow heels.

Great shoe! Extremely comfortable! Way better than I was expecting. I had tried on a pair of Asics in DSW a long time ago and was disappointed. They were not comfortable. But I really liked the look of the teal and gray ones and tons of people at my work wear Asics so I thought I'd give them a try again. I'm so happy I did! They feel fantastic. Lots of cushion. A lightweight shoe great for long days on hard concrete floors. I would definitely buy another pair. I love this shoe.

Asics is my go to sneaker. I have very narrow feet and this brand comes closest to accommodating my feet. I have tried other brands and find I always come back to Zappos. If your feet are as narrow as mine this is the show for you. Annette

Unlike some of the reviews I read, I actually like the ASICS Gel-Nimbus 18 better than the 17. The fit is perfect for me, as is the arch, support, and especially the cushioning. I feel like I'm walking on clouds! I have had surgery on both feet and often have pain when I walk. With these shoes, I can walk for miles and barely notice any discomfort. My only complaint is this: I prefer these shoes in a wide width and would like to order them in the black/silver/carbon color, but they are not available. I realize that in this width, choices are limited, but one would think the black would be a common option for any size. Some of the other colors are a tad too wild for my taste. I walk a lot at work and would like the simple black shoe that would be less noticeable with whatever outfit I am wearing on a given day.

These are the BEST SHOES EVER! I work standing on my feet all day, everyday. These shoes reduce the pain of my plantar fascia.

I got these for my teen daughter. Her legs and hips had been hurting from running. These cushioned shoes have definitely helped. I might have to get a pair for myself!

Came back to Asics because of this shoe. Very comfortable and didn't need much breaking in.

I have been an Asics Gel fan and purchaser for years. I recently thought that I could get by with cheaper Asics shoes. I gave those to my daughter and bought the Asics Gel-Nimbus 18. These shoes are like walking/running on marshmallows. I have a lot of issues from years of abuse of my feet. I would recommend these to anyone - runner or walker. They are kind to your feet!

I love these shoes, they are very comfortable and I took the advice of other reviews and bought a half size bigger.

Sorry Asics, this version of the Nimbus was a big fat fail for me. This is very unusual as I have been brand loyal for over 10 years. I've usually been extremely happy in the Nimbus or Cumulus. However, this Nimbus 18 seems to sit higher and tighter on my Achilles Tendon causing significant soreness. Very disappointed. Back to the drawing board on finding a comfortable supportive running shoe. These are getting returned.

Excellent fit and comfort for a small and bony foot. Using orthotic - still great cushioning and good close fit.

First off WOW!! I've been struggling with plantar faciitis in my right foot for about a year now, tried all the inserts (custom and not) had multiple shots in my foot, constantly wearing compression socks and nothing was even helping. I've only been wearing these shoes for 2 weeks now and I've had a HUGE improvement in my life, I can get up in the morning without crying stepping on my foot, I get home from work (concrete floors 8hrs plus lifting) and am ABLE to mow the grass, go run errands, and be ACTIVE!! Instead of the normal ice my feet until they are numb for some relief. I WILL be repurchasing! Also the shoe is very comfortable, provides my FLAT feet the support they need and did I mention these are comfy!!

FINALLY A GREAT Shoe by Asics again. This shoe is supportive and cushioned very well. The shoe is designed for neutral and underpronators and it delivers. I love the colors as well. Very versatile and good looking and most of all comfortable shoe. Well worth the money. I wear Ortho asics inserts in my shoes an so the shoe fits otherwise they seem a good half size larger than expected. with the inserts my size 9 is perfect.
