Normally I find Born Brand in general run too wide on my foot, however, I decided to try these boots because the toe is more almond shaped and I thought it might be worth a try. Well, I got lucky with this style and they fit! I wear a size 8M. They look nice on the foot. Slimming and stylish. I liked they way the sides are cut in a "V" shape so it doesn't rub the ankle bones and they seem comfortable. I am all about comfort these days with neck and back issues so my high heel days are long gone. It helped that they were on sale too. I saw them in a dept store for $120 and then where I was they charged 7.25% tax! Worked for me.......

Love Born shoes. I'm normally a 7.5 in Born styles, but this seemed to run a 1/2 size large. I got a size 7 in these and they fit great with a thin, no show sock.

These boots are so fabulous. Sexy on the ankle, sleek, way comfortable, no break in period for me. Walked a few miles in them as soon as I got them. The grey leather is soft and expensive-looking. That said, they do stretch out a bit since they are soft, so you may want to go with your regular size. Only thing I didn't love was the toe is a little too faux-distressed/blackened for my taste, but it blended in after a few wears.

Super comfy right out of the box! True to size. Love the red color....get a lot of compliments too ...Will be back to buy more Born shoes :)

I bought this boot in grey. It is very cute and really comfortable right out of the box.

I bought these ankle boots to wear with jeans to give a long, uninterrupted line. I love them! They r extremely comfortable, with some arch support built in. The heel is just high enough to give a little boost while still feeling like sneakers. And they are beautiful. Just the right color blue, and they gracefuyllyt hug the contours of your foot instead of looking like shapeless boxes as many comfort brands do! As other reviewers have stated, they run a half size too big. I was happy about that because they were out of stock in my usual size!

Love these booties. Super comfortable. Cute with skinny jeans, regular jeans or dresses. Nice way to wear boots in a hot climate. I have the taupe and the gray. These boots provide plenty of room in the toe box.

These shoes are RIDICULOUSLY comfortable! My pinky toes tend to feel squeezed in shoes as I have fairly square toes without a lot of taper. That's not a problem with these shoes. Even wearing them for a few hours on my feet, they only barely start to feel uncomfortable, but certainly not painful. They have enough cushion without being super-squishy. They are really beautiful too. The gray color looks great with so many things in my closet. They definitely run big. I sometimes wear a 7 but often feel more comfortable in a 7 1/2. I got the 7s and my heels do move a little while I walk. (But the shoes don't rub my heals or create blisters.) I probably could have worn a 6 1/2 if it had been available--but for my toes' sake, I like my boots to run a little bit big. I'd say they run a half size to a full size large. I would absolutely buy these again, in another color, and may eventually do so! I love them!

LOVE these boots! They are really cute; they even make my size 11 feet look smaller. But they are roomier than a couple of other Born boot styles I've tried. So comfortable I won't have to break them in.

Perfect black boot right out of the box! Very comfortable. Generally wear a size 8.5 and the size 8 fits perfectly.

Beautiful and comfortable boots as most of the reviewers have said and they run fairly true to size. Unfortunately, I pronate rather badly, and there is very little medial support in these boots. I am very sad to return them.

I absolutely love this pair of boots. I have a couple other pairs of Born shoes/boots that have lasted forever and are my most comfortable shoes. These feel like slippers when you put them on. They have great bottoms, which I specifically look for since I live by the Canadian border and am in snow much of the winter. The denim blue color is perfect as they match both my faded and dark blue jeans, which is what I bought them for. They have a nice wide fit, but a slender look in terms of the toe point - not pointed, but not rounded either - just right. The sole is flexible and immediately comfortable - no breaking in period needed at all.

These are very cute and fit well - true to size. I would recommend them. However, I ultimately sent them back because I liked the Eileen Fisher Leaf boot style even better.

I love these boots! They are such a beautiful color, the perfect greige of the leather world. I have very narrow feet and normally wear a 6.5-7 in shoes. I have 3 other pairs of Born boots and all are size 6.5. I ordered the 6.5 and they were a little too big. I then ordered the 6 and they are perfect! I would suggest ordering a half size down from what you normally wear in Born, or a full size down from other shoes (I think Born runs just a tad large anyway, and this boot runs even larger). However, once you figure out the length, you will love them too.

Love these, very comfortable and stylish as well. No need to break them in, very comfortable from day one. I have a small bunion that seems just fine in these, no rubbing! True to size. The zipper does make a clicking sound when I walk.

I wear an 8 B and 39. These boots fit perfectly and were amazingly comfortable from the first time I put them on. In fact, I wore them to work two days in a row. Very comfortable! I would buy them again!

Love these shoes, super stylish and comfortable. They have a western flair without being full on wild west cowgirl. (which I do also love) I wear 8.5 but had to buy an 8. They run big which is pretty true for the Born shoes. I love the blue suede, I get compliments when I wear them. They look great with jeans. I had to add my own arch supports and now they feel like a dream.

Just got these a few days ago and LOVE them! I got the Amarena Distressed and really love the cool color! I don't usually wear color in shoes/boots but these really fit the bill. Can be a "neutral" but so cute and different. I wear a size 8.5 Medium (mostly due to thicker wool socks) and these fit perfectly right out of the box for me. Best thing I love about Born boots - the perfect marriage of cute and comfort! I will be wearing these a lot. Thanks Born and Zappos!

I LOVE these boots and their understated elegance and quality construction. The back zipper is a great feature. I had a bit of trouble closing it at first, but found out it works best when my foot is planted firmly on the floor. Normally I wear size 9.5 in Born, but after reading some reviews I ordered size 9, and I'm glad I did!! Even size 9 was a bit roomy, but with the addition of an insole the fit was very good and they were four stars comfortable right out of the box. I expect the comfort level to rise to five stars after a little wearing-in.

Yes, you need to wear sock with these, but I personally think you SHOULD wear socks with a boot. Summer is for sandals and flats! That said, I have found these to be a very comfortable and stylish boot to wear with my fall wardrobe--which is mostly pants. I've taken a couple very long walks with no discomfort or looseness in the boot. And I've had quite a few compliments, as well!

Love them! Thank you Born for making a boot with a wide enough toe box. I usually wear a size 11 but if the toe box is narrow I order a size 12 (if they make size 12). This boot fits perfect ordered the blue and love it.

Oh my gosh - I was so excited to receive my boots today and they far exceed my expectations. Love the color and style but mostly can't believe the comfort. I have bad feet - bunion and flat feet but these, wore them right out of the box out for the evening and they are beyond comfortable. Will order in another color. As usual, great shoes by Born.
