I ordered these boots in my standard size and a half size smaller. These shoes do run a little large length wise but I ultimately kept the larger size because my feet are on the wider side. They're great once you figure out the sizing.

These were super comfortable and very well made. The fit was comparable to my other Born shoes/boots, which I adore. These were just a little too plain for the look I was going for.

I have had these boots for a year - and I love them. The trick to the back zipper is your foot has to be flat on the floor when you zip them up - it's magic! Why they only zip when your feet are flat on the floor, I have no clue! I may have worn them too much - they started to separate from the sole. However, the suede wore well and they must be treated because they didn't get salt stains or water stains.

Seriously, these adorable booties are so comfortable that I just placed an order for my 4th pair. I need a variety of colors because I wear them all the time. Fingers crossed the smooth leather version is as comfy and functional as the suedes. I’ll let you know ;)

Born booties are the best! I have the black pair (I've never had trouble with the heel peeling--and I've had them a year with heavy wear) and I recently received the distressed suede pair. I've received a number of compliments on them already--they are great looking boots. I feel on-trend and stylish when wearing them. And best of all, they are extremely comfortable. When I first put them on, I said "Ahhhh....at last" to my husband! Very pleased!!

I have this bootie in a rust suede. Outrageously comfortable. I think it runs about a 1/2 size long, but width is good. I returned the black because they make my size 9 feet look long; the rust has more going on so is more distracting. But overall, it's a lovely comfortable shoe. The notch is supper stylish. And wow, so comfy!

SO cute and comfortable, but these are a dark brown (not grey at all). Sad to return these... Also, be sure to order a half size smaller than normal. I have wide feet and ordered a 7 1/2 instead of my normal 8 and they fit perfect.

I work at a thrift shop and these came in the other day... Have been looking for boots like this for YEARS and it was love at first sight. I wear a size 8.5/9 and my pair is 9.5. They are a bit big but I have prescribed insoles for my high arches and they have made these feel like they were made for me. They make me walk with confidence because of the very empowering sound the heel makes when it meets pavement or cement... Unfortunately the zipper on the right boot is starting to come apart, but when it finally gives out I will certainly rebuy these at full retail because I love them so much!!

These shoes are fantastic! I slipped them on and haven’t wanted to take them off yet. They look good with everything. The color and texture of the leather is perfect. Looking forward to rocking these with lots of different looks.

LOVE, LOVE these booties and I've been on the hunt for a while now. They hit in just the right spot on ankle for short skinny jeans and look great with full length pants too. Run pretty true to size - I got one 1/2 size up for socks.

Unlike a lot of the folks here, I thought these boots ran a half size smaller. I normally wear a size 8 and have a wide foot, so I ordered an 8.5 and they fit perfectly. They are rather narrow at the toe tip, so if you do have a bit wider foot, I'd order at least a half size larger than you usually wear. Other than that, they are gorgeous boots, very cute and very fun! I got the burgundy red ones and I love them. They will be perfect to wear with a nice pair of jeans. I'm stepping up in the world with my Born boots, they are so cute and comfortable and I'm very happy with my purchase!

This is my all time favorite bootie. I just bought another pair because I wear these almost every day. They are perfect with skinny pants or jeans. I wear them with Van's no show socks.

Nice looking booties. Just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I had to send them back as they were too tight on the top of my foot due to my very high arch. They fit well everywhere else. I ordered a half size smaller than my usual boot size. So sad...

I wear a size 8.5 and Borns always fit perfectly, no matter the style. These boots are no exception. Great style and very comfortable. I'm ordering another pair in a different color!

Out of the box comfort.

I found these boots at a local department store and tried them on. They had my usual size but I needed to order a half size down as they ran big. Unfortunately they did not have a half size smaller - but thankfully Zappos did! These Born boots are so cute and comfortable. They go with jeans, dresses, skirts. I have had strangers stop and ask me about these cuties!

I purchased these in the black and I love them. I typically wear an 8 and the 8 fit true to size for me. I love the little zipper at the back of the boot. The styling of this is a little more unique than other booties I see, but maintains a simplicity that keeps them practical. I find them to be comfortable and Born quality is typically reliable. Happy with purchase.
