They feel good on my feet and don't make my hips/knees hurt. I walk with my dog up and down hills every day and these boots are wonderful!

Very comfortable and stable for hiking in the woods

I use this boot as a work boot. I have been wearing New Balance boots forever. I have bad feet and these are the only boots I can wear. I have narrow feet and New Balance is the only kind of shoes I wear.

Shoes were true to size and very comfortable with good support. Unfortunately I wasn't able to test them for long, as I needed to deal with a tendon problem.

I hike 10-15 miles a week and these are very comfortable and effective on wet and rocky surfaces. I hope New Balance continues to make these. I wear a hard to find size - 10 narrow street shoes; the boots are 11 narrow and fit well with quality hiking socks.

I actually bought these in a wide this time around as the first pair aggravated my bunion. Great move on my part as they fit is terrific and I was able to wear them right out of the box. I would like a dark green pair next time, hint hint

I have in fact bought this product again and again already. Maybe 5 pairs over the past 4 years. I am an elderly but very active woman with some serious arthritis in my feet. The width, high toe box and arch supports have made these "hiking boots" my main daily footwear. In the summer I wear long skirts to cover them up!

I needed shoes that were comfortable and gave support to ankles. These shoes are fabulous.

It seems that this shoe runs small. I first ordered 8.5 E, which is my usual New Balance length, but I thought wider would be nice. My toes were crammed against the front and outside edge, ouch! The return process was completely hassle-free. I wanted to order a size 9.0 D, but mysteriously, this size isn't available. I thought, well the 8.5 E was VERY small, so maybe the 9.5 D would be okay. It's SO okay. Plenty of room for my weird toes, and the length seems barely long enough, which is fine. My feet are VERY pronated (hence my weird toes), so I need serious arch support. These shoes definitely have it, plus they don't make me look like Franken-foot. Very happy with them, and I'd certainly buy them again.

Love the way this shoe fits. I have a wide foot and this shoe is a perfect one for those of us who must have a comfortable shoe.

I did buy a bigger size and ended up having to get wide because the standard one wasn't available but it is totally fine. They are super comfortable. I use them for work and I am walking outdoors for 6-7 hrs a day.

I originally bought these boots for work. I work where it's wet and slippery. But they didn't work so well for the slippery floor. But I love how they fit and I wear them everyday now. These are now my everyday shoes. I do love them. I just bought another pair of NB shoes that are slip resistant. I got them today so I will try them out tomorrow. New Balance is my favorite shoes. I have been buying them for years. And I will continue to buy more.

I have had some issues with my feet, including treatment for a neuroma. We do a lot of hiking, and I've had to live with pain for the past two or three years. After trying many different brands from Merrell to Solomon, I finally found a boot that gave me no pain at all on a recent hiking trip to Big Bend. It was really strange to hike being pain-free, and I can't wait to go again. I would definitely recommend this boot to someone who has had foot issues. It comes in wide sizes, which also helps.

These shoes were ordered for my special needs daughter who broke her ankle in November. We wanted a shoe that was light but would offer good ankle support. She loves them!

I have several foot problems and And I have fought the New Balance is the only brand I can trust to work for my feet. I wear orthotics so require an extra wide shoe and the roll bar is a necessity for me. I needed a new pair of hiking boots for the coming spring and summer hikes. These fit perfectly (6.5 2E). I have worn them several days just around the house and when out walking.they have not required any breaking in at all. I have not tested their waterproof capabilities but I am confident they will perform well.

I hike weekly. These are 1 of two pair of boots I wear. It's hard to find narrow sizes! These are comfortable without break-in. My other pair (Lowa) I have to tape my ankles to avoid blisters -- not these. Any hike 12 miles or under I wear these. Now only if you started making narrow width trail runners again my prayers would be answered.

These boots kept my feet warm and comfortable when I used them this winter while working to clear trees & garbage in a local park area.

I HAVE PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR A DECADE! The balance to prevent rolling over on the side of my feet is so needed and NB gets it perfectly here! Ankle support! Good looking! Feel great! I'm 72 (female) and they help me walk - improve my mobility! Holds my feet in the correct position. Love the Gray but also the Brown. They DO need to be replaced if you are wearing them for support. I replace maybe every 2 years. This shoe is a gift for those of us who pronate!

Got it for my wife, she loves it. Will definitely purchase those again.

Hiking, Walking No more to give , Take it or leave it

Waterproof either support! This is a great lightweight shoe. I am onto my second pair.

I got these in the blue/grey/black combination, and they look great. More importantly, they are comfortable and have a good tread for hiking. I've been looking for waterproof shoes and these fit the bill.

I bought them for hiking. I wear them a lot just everyday.
