I have a hard time finding size 5 wide shoes and hiking boots are even harder to find. I was so looking forward to trying these, but they were not wide enough and cramped my foot.

Looked great but not comfortable enough for the price & not comfortable enough to climb a mountain in.

Liked the style, but the 12 medium was a half size too short. Normally I take a 12 in New Balance but it was too short in this shoe.

Ordered half size larger than normal based on other reviews and still found this shoe too narrow. Definitely not sized as a comparable EE width shoes from New Balance and Ararvon (made by New Balance). Disappointed as this is a great looking casual hiking boot.

The boot runs small I first ordered my usual size like my NB shoes and it was to short, I ordered 1/2 size larger and it fit better but not good. I returned both sizes of the boot.

Shoes in 7AA ran way small. Disappointed. This is my last hurrah to attempt to get NB sneakers. Sizing and quality of materials has been compromised at this time after my buying NB for many years. --

I wear New Balance shoes for work and play. Due to poor product information I bought my usual size and it is a half to full size too short. The shoe is very rigid and hard. Will need to send them back and do not appreciate not being told to order up at least half a size. I usually love NB but this not this time!

I have always worn 6½W in New Balance sneakers but 6½ in these had my toe hitting the end. I tried both D and EE in 6½ and weirdly the EE felt shorter and narrower. What the description does not say is that these boots have thinsulate lining! I was not looking for winter boots. It is so upsetting that the description did not include that they had insulation.

I specifically bought a pair of these about two years ago because I have very wide feet and New Balance is one of the few brands that consistently works for me. I tried them on in store, loved them, and then wore them all the time throughout the next year. Unfortunately, they just didn't live up to their promise. One would assume that hiking boots would be durable, or at the very least, more durable than a pair of sneakers. I am by no means a crazy outdoor hiker, just a casual day hiker. The uppers developed small holes, which I didn't mind too much, but the real problem was with the soles. They came unglued and began peeling entirely off of the uppers after about a year of semi-consistent wear. I really wish they had proven to be more durable because I loved having a pair of hiking boots that actually fit!

Went through two pairs in a year, I get about three to four months before the bottoms start to come apart... good shoe... very bad glue.

I purchased these even though they are ugly and aren't designed for the hiking I will be doing. I hoped these would be wide enough to keep my toes comfy even if they become worn out after a month or two of hiking. They were not wide enough for my bare foot let alone with an orthotic added. I wear NB 1540v3 for an everyday shoe and they are wide enough for my foot and orthotic in size women's 6.5. New Balance I need an all leather Vibram Sole heavy duty hiking boot in Very WIDE for hiking, backpacking, and survey work.

I buy one size up and fits great. However, if you wear them a lot they won't last a year before the souls comes unglued. I've had 2 pairs and both had the same problem in less than a year. For the price you would think they would make them to last longer.

My skinny feet. I keep trying different styles of New Balance and hoping one style will fit. Once in awhile i do find a fit. But cannot afford to buy multiply pairs at once.

Downside is the goretex waterproofing does not hold up. Sent back a pair in a month after only walking in wet grass. I want to order another pair but New Balance has not had my style size in 4 months.

Too small. I wear an 8 2E in the NB running shoes but these boots feel too short and too narrow.

I normally wear a women's size 9 narrow. I have other New Balance shoes in this size that are OK but not these. In my opinion this boot is narrow in name only. Very disappointed.
Disapointed I,

I have never had trouble with New Balance for my wide feet. But, this time these boots were way too narrow, even with just a thin sock, and who wants to hike with a thin sock?

I like the boots and the fit, but the components caused a rash, irritation and swelling bad enough that I had to go to a dermatologist. She diagnosed contact dermatitis and says this is not uncommon in footware made outside the US. Only solution is to throw them away. I am so disappointed. Manufacturers shouldn't use synthetics that cause this kind of skin irritation.

First I have to say that presently I live in two pairs of wide sized New Balance sneakers. This new pair, though it is marked WW! is NOT as wide as my sneakers! and, further, there is NOT enough loft for my special needs toes. VERY sad to have to send them back! Again, my sneakers give me the loft for my toes.
