Loving these boots! I tend to run between a 8.5 and 9 so I purchased a 9 thinking I would wear thicker socks, if needed, since winter is approaching. They shipped super-fast but unfortunately the 9 was too big. The return process was so easy!! Zappos was able to coordinate with UPS to bring a label to my door upon pick up, much appreciated!! I purchased the 8.5 and they also arrived quickly. These boots are great quality, a bit heavy as they are leather and they will need some patience to break in! I recommend conditioning the leather upon arrival and wearing them as much as you can stand in the first few days/weeks. My right foot is a tad wider than my left foot so while wearing the boot, I covered it with a hand towel and used a hairdryer to warm the boot up and stretch the leather just a bit to make a little more room for my toes. Super easy! The arch support is comfortable as it is not too high. The overall width is true to size.

These were very comfy right out of the box. Warm & stylish. They are true to size. No heel to speak of, but in the snow they give a good feel to the ground. 5+

They fit great and I love how they look!

I have narrow feet so this was a bit roomy. But that gives me the opportunity to wear them with my hand knit socks.

Love Chaco's! These are SUPER comfortable and have a great arch support. Perfect right out of the box. Very cute with jeans. Nice details on the boot. Ordered the black, and loved the 'tone' of the leather, soft black color. 10 out of 10

I usually wear size 8 and that's what I ordered. Zappos suggested 8.5. There's room in the toe for a heavy sock and feel fine with a lighter sock. I initially had a few issues with the seam rubbing if I tied them too tight. Wearing them around the house helped with the seam too. Took them out for a few 3-4 mile hikes after a week - no pain or blisters. I was surprised with the grip on some slick hills but I wouldn't wear them for a serious hike. Feet stayed dry in wet grass and puddles but I didn't walk through a creek with them on. Stylish and comfortable for light hikes and casual wear! I'd buy another pair if they had more colors!

These were painfully tight on me and an immediate no way. They are very beautiful boots and well made.

not every shoe is right for everyone - but these were perfect for me right out of the box. I was looking for a hightop for more ankle support. the laces let me tighten the whole shoe so there's good support for the ankle. the arch is just right. I have a narrow foot and these are perfect with moderate socks. the toe box is large enough so all toes can be flat. I put them on and went for a moderate walk - they feel great! I gave 4 stars on style because the laces are awful. very cheap. I tied a double bow because they're long and it was almost impossible to untie them. I wish they didn't look so wintery with the wool around the top. but I'm wearing them anyway for the support. very comfortable!

I love these boots! I wear a 9 1/2 and thats what I ordered and they fit perfect. Excellent quality!

Bad fit at first. Pressure on my foot painful as described by another reviewer. I removed the insert and replaced it with a thinner insert and problem solved! After a few weeks I put the original insert back and the show felt awesome. I’m thinking all shoes should come three inserts to create a more comfortable custom fit. One can be thin, one thick and one higher in the heal. Shoes could be more versatile that way. These shoes are well made and very trendy.

These are true to size and have the famous arch support that I love in Chaco shoes!

Comfortable and warm!

These boots are great! I was looking for a shorter boot for when I'm not trudging through a ton of snow, but still need something waterproof for slush or light rain (hello to my fellow New Englanders!). These boots keep my feet dry and they look nicer than my tall winter boots. I can wear these to work or out to a casual restaurant or bar without feeling clunky. I normally wear a 7.5 - 8 and the 7.5 is a perfect fit. They have excellent arch support and though I wouldn't describe them as narrow I do feel they are snug. Definitely a great, moderate winter boot!

I love these boots! I normally wear an 8 in Chacos and I ordered an 8 and the fit was great (width too). Very comfortable! We live in the midwest and it was icy/snowy yesterday. These boots were perfect!

I was looking for a waterproof boot that would handle the moderate winters we have in Nashville. These fit nicely (I always wear 8M and these are great.) there’s plenty of room in the toe width for my thicker winter socks, which was another thing I was looking for.

Love these! I bought these for everyday casual wear in the colder months. I take a lot of long dog walks in wet/cold weather and wanted something that would cover my ankles and keep me dry and warm. These are very comfortable, offer great support and foot bed. Stayed comfortable even on a day when I was on my feet for 11+ miles. I would definitely recommend.

Chacos are consistently excellent for my high maintenance feet. I’ve had mechanical issues aggravated by plantar faciaitis (sp?) for years and chacos are one of my go-to shoe brands.

I had ordered 2 pair of boots, I liked the second better, which is th only reason I'm returning this pair

I ordered a pair last year and I can walk 3 miles in them and wear them all day with no discomfort. They have the best arch support of my 15 pairs of boots. I ordered another pair today in another color. I ordered my regular size which sometimes is a bit snug in boots but these fit great.

Love these boots! Generally wear a size 9 in most brands so I ordered a 9. 9 was way too big, too much room in the toes and a lot of extra room around the ankles. Exchanged for an 8.5, fits much better. Toes still have plenty of room with thicker boot socks and I can comfortably fit toe warmers in if needed. These are pretty comfortable for walking and everyday wear.

These were a perfect 7, but snug with heavy socks on. I have plantar fascitis and my Chaco sandals have been the only shoes that I can walk in without hurting, so I thought I'd try a pair of Chaco boots. I love them! I think that they're making my feet feel better when I walk. They're cute and super supportive!

Love these boots so far! I have bunions and am on my feet a lot so shoes that fit well are important. Super cute style and I'm hoping they hold up for years to come.
