These boots hurt immediately. I the sticking where the tongue and shoe meet of the sides rub bed from the minute I put them on. They were not tight in any way. I have medium narrow feet. I tried to lace them differently but that didn't work either. I am normally between an 8.5 and a 9. I ordered an 8.5. They were roomie but would have fit with heavy socks. But I loved the way they looked with leggings and my flannel tunic.

I love Chacos for their styling and their comfortable fit but am disappointed with this style. I bought these shoes for a winter trip to Bavaria and trusted that they would be waterproof. THEY ARE NOT. Moisture seeped in through the seams and my toes were wet and cold, even with heavy socks on. Plus, the leather looks distressed after just a week's wear. Bummer, Chaco!

I wanted these to be comfortable so badly! They are such cute shoes, but they were unbearable to wear. I don't have particularly wide feet, but they pressed really hard on the outer part of my feet - by my pinky toe. Wish I didn't have to return them.

Not my style after I tried them on. I wanted a pair of boots to walk around in slushy conditions and this just wasn’t a right fit.

Very cute but a seam on the inside rubs against my foot. Back they go.

Great looking boot, but the sole was thin and the sides were also too thin to make this an effective, warm winter shoe when the temps here go below 30 degrees most mornings. An extra pair of socks is a drag to put on every morning when the boot itself just needs insulation. Width and length were accurate to my usual size 8.5 medium. Looking for a good looking, warm winter boot, but this wasn't it.

Really wanted these to work - cute shoe. Ordered half a size smaller as suggested by other reviewers and the size was fine/slightly large. But, it felt like something metal was jabbing into the side of the toe bed in both shoes on the underside of the stitching! Going back.

These did not work for my foot and I returned them. They are super cute but I have a wide-ish foot and a high instep, and they would have rubbed blisters. Really sorry they didn’t work.

Nice looking ankle boot but extremely tight on the sides near toe areas. Will be returning unfortunately!

I love the style of this shoe but unfortunately they are going back. The arch support feels a little extreme, although that was not the deal breaker for me. I wore them around the house for about a minute before the top of my foot started irritating me. The seam on the side of the shoe digs into the top of my foot right at the base of my pinky toe. This was only happening on the left side. I took off my socks to see if that was an issue but even without socks, the seam digs right in. I've never had this issue with another shoe. And surprisingly the shoe is very roomy so I'm not sure why I'm having this issue with the seam.

Wanted to love them, but the seams along the lateral shoe rubbed in a bad spot and put an uncomfortable amount of pressure on my lateral foot/5th metatarsal. My friend (same size feet) tried these on, too, and said the exact same thing. I have a wide foot, but I'm pretty sure this is a construction and not a fit issue since the shoe is very generous through the toe box. Bummer because they're cute and would otherwise be warm and comfortable!

Regarding the pair of boots I received, the left boot was visibly smaller than the right - the toe box was noticeably more narrow on the left. It fit just like it looked - way too tight. It is the same length and width through the rest of the boot so does appear to be the same size just poorly made. There are clearly some quality control issues at Chaco. Love the style so will reorder and see if another pair works better.

i got these because i hate wearing clunky snow boots all the time. wore them out in nyc this weekend, it was 16 degrees out and they were def not very warm at all. not worth the money..

Sorry to say it but these boots are not cute at all.

These shoes are very uncomfortable - the bed is rock hard with no give at all. Sort of like standing on concrete. The shoes are cute but not cute enough to justify how uncomfortable they are. I did go half a size smaller than I normally order and it fit correctly with thin socks so if you do order them - size down unless you'll be wearing thick socks all the time.

It fit horribly and had no stabilizing reinforcement on the sides or heel. It also provides poor padding on the sole, which made it feel like you are walking on a very hard surface.

I wanted these to work, but they are not truly shaped to my feet-felt like I had cardboard boxes on my feet.

The shoe is super cute, love everything about how it looks. The way it fits is where this shoe goes from a good review to a bad. Cost of all, the shoe was way too big. I exchanged for a 1/2 size down and will need exchange for a full size down. There is no support on the foot whatsoever. Across the top of the foot, the shoe is very uncomfortable. I don't normally ever have trouble with any other shoe on the top of the foot, but for how expensive this boot is, it sure seems like it's made very cheap. No cushion or comfortability with this shoe. Disappointed for sure.

Worth every penny! True to size, super comfortable, and they look great with jeans. I live in WI, and these are great to throw on in any weather! Arch support is there and what you expect if you own other Chaco footwear. I contemplated buying these for about a year, so glad I bought them!

I SO wanted to keep these but unfortunately I had to return them :( Love the style and color but there's a seam that hits the bone below your pinky toe that makes them painfully unwearable! I had read a few reviews that mentioned this odd seam and had hoped it wouldn't bother me but I seriously could not wait to take them off :(

These booties are so cute. After reading all the reviews about how comfortable they are I was excited to wear them. However,I don't need or want orthotics and these boots have a very firm orthotic type of insole that was super hard and uncomfortable in my arch. It felt like I was walking with a rock under my instep, to the degree that if I had worn these for any length of time my arch would have become bruised. Also, the right boot had a very sharp stiff seam that cut into the side of my foot right behind the little toe. I don't have corns or bunions so that wasn't the problem. These are being returned.

Love these boots! Very versatile in wearing the flaps up or down. Great support and warm too!
