I wear an 8.5 in other Chacos but this 8.5 was definitely longer. I wish I wouldn't have worn outside them, as I would probably send back. I think I would have liked a an 8 better. Style was not as cute as in picture, but I still like them. .

Fit was perfect, which I rarely say. These shoes have a roomy toe box and extremely good support under the heel and arch. When I stood up and walked, both little toes were screaming in pain from the seams which were right on top of them.

I have several pairs of chaco sandals and really like them. I was excited to try my first pair of shoes but these were not quite not what I was looking for. Similar to other reviews, these looked a little to masculine.

I really wanted to like these boots. The footbed was so comfy but, as other reviewers have noted, the seam on the outside of the boot dug into my foot and was extremely painful.

I wanted to be a fan of these but I'm not. They are a boxy shoe and you would think by their look that it would be wide enough for my wide feet but after wearing them around the house for 30 minutes I could tell the outsides of me feet were already in pain. Not super cute to look at but I can see that they would be warm and weather proof which is what most people are looking for in these shoes. I decided on a pair of Sorel's instead, mostly just due to the width.

These boots are so crazy comfortable. They're not the cutest, but with my wide feet it's hard to find comfy shoes that aren't hideous, so I figured these would do the trick. After deciding I would keep them I put them on before leaving for work and as I tied them the eyelet for the shoelace broke. This does not instill confidence in the quality of construction to see such a basic thing break with the first use. So, sadly I will be returning them.

Loved the color and comfort, but these killed my inner ankles. I tried, they just didn't hit right. From the top, they are not cute, they have the typical wide stance of Chacos. They did feel wider than normal, which works for me, but the heel was loose.

These are very nice boots that run true to size, and have good arch support. I have returned them though, as they are a little too short to provide snow protection in my neighborhood. The 6” shaft measurement in the product description includes the fold-up cuff...the tongue area is quite low. Awesome Zappos service as always!

They run large and there isn't a ton of padding to feel soft and warm, but they are still pretty comfortable and easy to get on and off.

These boots were wider than it appears and bulkier.

The right shoe fit okay, but the left shoe immediately rubbed my bunion. I could tell there was no way I would be able to wear these shoes.

I really liked the arch support , but the toe box hurt both of my feet, felt like something was rubbing against the outsides of my feet.

Loved these booties, but they are too narrow when ordering usual size, so off they go, back to zappos.

I was looking for a pair of winter boots that I could wear with skinny jeans tucked into them, but unfortunately the tongue on these is so short that the jeans just pop right out and get really bunched up above the tongue. That was just standing mostly still; I imagine they’d bunch up even worse if I’d walked in them. Also, I usually wear a 9.5 or 10 in boots and I ordered a 9 in these because I’d read they run big. The 9 was HUGE. I probably should have gone with an 8, but the style was just not great (they look like men’s work boots) so they’re going back.

The quality of the Barbary wasn’t as good as I expected. The seam around the toe didn’t work for me, so I returned and chose a Born casual boot. If you order the Barbary, I suggest ordering a half size up if you plan on wearing a thicker sock. ,

Sadly too narrow in the toe area. No wides. :( They would have been great.

I chose the light brown and they fit, but they looked more like work boots than fun comfy boots.

I love the look of these boots but unfortunately they are going back. The seam was uncomfortable on my baby toe. I do have bunions, not large but big enough that these aren't going to work for me. Thank you, Zappos for a great return policy!

These are weird. As another reviewer noted, they are oddly long in the toe. They felt comfortable at first and they are super cute, and I fully intended to keep them - especially because they are waterproof. I even threw out my box. But after wearing them around my house to break them in, I realized I would be miserable if I kept them. They start to pinch at the base of the toes -almost like that extra length starts to put too much pressure on as you walk. I feel like if they just hadn't cut them a little too long, they'd be great.

These felt a little flimsy with not much support around the ankle. Hard to believe they would be waterproof (I put "waterproof" as my filter). Made my feet (size 10.5) look quite large - not a look I'm going for! Sent these ones back. Thank goodness for Zappos return policy!

I wear a 6, and these were big. I also have a fairly big arch and the arch support was almost too much for me..really like the look of them so was disappointed they didn’t work for me

Love the look, quality and support. Unfortunately, they are too narrow for me. Once I put thicker socks on they were uncomfortably tight. I do have a bunion on one side, but once I put the thicker socks on they were just too tight. The length was a bit longer, but actually works for thicker socks. Disappointed because they are great boots.

Just felt too big all the way around. I have narrow feet but never had this issue before. Not for me.

Hard to tell the arch aupport or comfort since they qere ao big and wide. I actually ordered down from a 9 1/2 to a 9 based on reviews. I think I'd need an 8.5 narrow to fit me right.
