Felt too long and narrow for my wide feet. I am a true 8.5, but ordered a 9 as usual due to width of my forefoot. These were ok in the width department, but way too long, sadly. They were cute and just what I was looking for, sad that they don’t fit my duck feet...

I ordered a size 10 1/2 because that is my size in almost all shoes. However they where to large. I sent them back for a size 10 and they fit perfect. I have very narrow feet and these are a little wide but with a nice thick sock they fit well.

These are very comfortable, they are very casual looking, but look good with jeans. I ordered one size up from my usual based on reviews, but actually they were too big with normal socks.

These boots are so cute and very comfortable on! A nice winter boot that's not too hot or heavy for every day. Very slightly loose in heel but I usually have to order a half size up due to a bone spur on one foot. I also ordered my regular size (6.5) which was, as usual, a little too tight across the front but my daughter in law loved them so much she tried and kept the smaller size. Multi generational appeal!

Just pulled these out of the box 5 mins ago. I was looking for a boot that would keep my feet dry and could be paired with jeans or leggings. Seeing them in person I think they will look good with both kinds of pants and keep my feet dry on those wet, rainy days of errand running. Fit wise I am a bit hesitant. The right shoe had a wrinkle in the leather from the way it had been sitting and that made it uncomfortable and difficult to tighten the laces at first (I didn't realize it was a wrinkle right away, I thought it was thenpiping on the edge of the tongue). Despite that I put on the left boot and adjusted the laces and was able to comfortably cinch up the boot. So I investigated the right boot more and found the wrinkle. I smoothed it out and tightened the boot up, it is now much more confortable! No doubt in a few wears the stiffness from the wrinkle will be gone. Aside from that initial issue, when folded down the top edge seems pretty stiff. I'm thinking it will also break in eventually. These boots feel like a lighter weight than many boots on the market. I am wearing a pair of mid weight smart wool socks (not too thick, but not thin dress socks either), I have no sensation of the stitching near the toes being uncomfortable, or even noticeable, as I read in several reviews. Perfect amount of room in the toe box. I am an 8.5 and very occasionally a 9. I purchased in an 8.5 and they feel perfect!

I ordered size 7 in this boot in the Castlerock color, which is quite appealing. They are nice looking and use quality suede. The toe and forefoot areas have plenty of room and the boot is comfortable overall, with one exception: It almost feels as if the heel is a hair short beneath my heel. The one thing I don't like is that the shoelaces do not pull easily to tie. I prefer a smoother, quicker tying shoelace. These boots are worth a try.

I am a size 9 and felt like they fit true to size length wise. Glad I ordered them and they are warm. Havent had them out for a long period of time so that is yet to be determined. They are very comfortable to have on. Width wise they are a bit wide for my foot which runs narrow. The toe just looks and feels wide. I wish that part ran more narrow.

This boot is stylish, warm, waterproof and comfortable. Initially, I was a little worried about the boot being too tight across the wide front part of my foot, and for some reason, the tongue of the boot was rubbing into my left ankle in a weird spot that was uncomfortable. But I stuck it out, and I’m glad I did, because after a few wears, it has formed well to my foot and those problems have disappeared. Great addition to my wardrobe in a place where slushy snow makes it hard to be fashion forward.

Love how these boots look but they are not as comfortable as I thought. Like others mentioned, great arch support but the seams on the top of the boot rub into my bones. I have to return. Bummer because they look awesome.

I was very impressed with the arch support. I had to return the shoe because they were too narrow.

Very cute and comfortable for my wide high arched feet, EXCEPT the detail seam lands right on the widest part of my foot and becomes uncomfortable within an hour or so. They are light and very comfortable on the ball and arch of my foot. Super disappointed! I had to return them.

Looks-wise, I think these lean slightly toward a winter/snow boot look - the toe box is a bit boxier than I expected, and roomier as well. I don't notice it as much with thick socks, and my husband says they're cute despite some of my initial worries. Functionally, I think they're great. I have walked quite a bit with them, and they've been comfortable, especially after I loosened the top laces a bit (the top was rubbing against my ankles). I like how the logo blends in with the sole of the shoe on the burgundy ones.

I almost kept these--wanted to! They are so functional--waterproof, soft leather, the best arch support I've found in a shoe (I wear orthotics but wouldn't need them in these), and pretty stylish besides. I also always have to wear wide sizes, but these mediums fit my wide feet well. I didn't keep them in the end because they do have a more outdoor look than what I wanted for everyday wear, the footbed could be cushier for walks, as a busy mom I really wanted something I could slip on easily while we were running out the door (and laces aren't great for that), and most importantly the stitching hit the outside of one foot in just the wrong place that it was a little uncomfortable. But I was pretty impressed with these hiking boots, otherwise!

Love this shoe. The fit is perfect, the style is nice and casual, and they’re warm. A little too warm indoors, with light wool socks. Good traction on snow-covered ice, and really comfortable with temperatures in the 20s (Fahrenheit). Outstanding arch support in the insole, which is also removeable. And beautiful soft leather, which (in the Mahogany) is a little darker and less red than I expected. Really great winter shoe.

I love these boots. They're pretty comfy, but I first had to take them to a shoe repair place and get them stretched in the toe box as the seams near the bottom lace cut into the tops of my feet. After a lot of stretching, they are really good. Not a lot of cushion, so not a great walking shoe for longer distances.

I really like the style, but unfortunately it just didn’t fit right for me. There is a LOT of arch support in these, but my feet have low arches, so it just applied pressure to the wrong places and became uncomfortable after a few minutes. Also, the boot put pressure on my ankle bones, and that quickly became a problem. If they had fit my feet better, I definitely would have kept them.

Pretty comfortable right out of the box. Still going to need a little break in time though. Slight pinch on the right boot upper right side where it bends when I walk. Very warm and cute. I love the Ivy color and they seem super well made. Wore them in wet weather and feet stayed dry.

Because the width was a good fit for me (I have wide feet), the shoes were just a tad loose. I don't know if it was enough to go down a half size, but I decided to just return them since I am looking for shoes that would be good in snow.

I usually wear size 9.5, sometimes that size doesn't fit and neither does a 1/2 size up (rarely can I wear a size 9 in any shoe). This boot had me puzzled for size when ordering, based on reviews. Some said it runs big, some said small. This boot fit my 9.5M foot PERFECTLY! I normally don't notice arch support in a shoe, but this has awesome arch support - it felt good to have some arch support! (I don't think I have high arches; I think they are closer to average-I don't have a hard time getting my foot into shoes). Now the downside; I was looking for a medium or dark brown boot, and first ordered "Ivy," because it looked brown to me (and I wondered why it was called "Ivy"!). Got it, and saw why (it's like a moss/dark sage color). Returned for the light brown, but too light for me. Now going for the mahogany (fingers crossed). I have seen that this boot was made in a med brown ("java"), but can't find it anywhere.

Loved the color, style, materials and arch support of these boots. I'm sorry to say I'm returning them because I can feel the stitching at the widest part of my foot, even after replacing the insole with my own orthotics and adjusting the lacing.

These are kind of cute, but I had to try 3 pairs and returned them all: I got the mahogany ones, and they felt great, good arch support, good fit, normally wear a 9 with orthotics but didn't even need those. However, the color isn't as rich as on the pic, more of a muted burgundy. So I ordered the gray, but it turned out to be bigger, even though it was a 9. Then I ordered an 8.5, and not only was it too small and narrow, but it had some scuff marks on the upper front part. I might try a 4th pair in gray again but undecided as wondering if it's worth the hassle. Too bad, they seem like good basic winter shoes to keep toes a little warmer.

Cute shoe. However, I normally wear an 8.5-9, ordered a 9 but felt like I was in an 8. I’ll try going up and see what I think because it’s a really cute boot.

I was looking for a shoe to wear on an upcoming winter trip. After reading the previous reviews, I decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did. They are a bit tom-boy looking but they are so comfortable. I have high arches so the arch support is a great support. I like the color because it is a muted bluish-gray that goes with everything. I wear an 8 and it fits true to size with enough room to wear thicker socks if its very cold. The one drawback is that there is not much fur or warm inside fuzzy material to help with warmth. Since I haven't worn them in very cold weather I don't know how they actually fell in those conditions. I still love them.

These boots ran extremely large and wide. I'm usually a size 11 in boots and even the 10.5 was huge. I love Chaco and their support but you need to size down a full size. They were kind of cute, although it was hard to tell with the size issue.
