Seemed like a good shoe except they seemed to be about 1/2 size smaller than I ordered. Exchanged for the next size larger. Zappo's exchange/return policy is outstanding. Hope the next pair fits.

Purchased the Brooks Addiction 11 and loved the shoe. Ordered the Addiction 12 in the same size, but it is narrower. I will try the 4E, but have already lost money on shipping.

These started off great, they had arch support and heal support. I found them comfortable and was very happy with them. Three months into owning and wearing them every other day the supportivness and the cushioning was gone. These were worn out. I use other brands that last six and seven months. I've never had a pair that was good for over seven months. Anyway I might wear them hard, but I expected more for the price and marketing.

I have purchased and loved the Addiction line of shoes for years with no complaints until now. Why does the heel liner wear out after a couple of weeks? I returned the first pair, which Zappos promptly replaced, and now the second pair is shot and wearing out my expensive socks with the plastic heel structure under the liner.

The lining behind the heal wore through very quickly after surprisingly few uses.

Great shoe but the quality is not so great. This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned for every use, daily work, running, hiking, etc. It took a little bit to get use to but I loved it, however the quality seems to be getting worse and worse. I am on my third pair, and within 3 days, the bottom of the shoe is coming apart, and the insoles are tearing apart. I wish I could keep going with this brand but I will have to try something different, especially at this price range.

These shoes look great, at least initially. They fell apart rather rapidly in the stitch areas which in 20 years of running (sometimes 300 miles a month) I've never seen with New Balance. The toe box was also too narrow causing blistering with long runs (16 miles). Overall I'm glad I tried them but wont be buying again.

After 3 months the thread on one started coming loose. The tread is still fine since I really only walk not run in them. I feel uncomfortable wearing them now with the shoe coming apart more and more. I'll have to buy a new pair of something. Does anyone know if this is a common problem with this shoe or did I get a defective pair?

I have these for less than ten months. I use them as a soccer referee. I rotate them with a pair of Asics and two pairs of New Balance. Even though I have used them only about 30 times (for two to six hours at a time), the right shoe sole is separating at the toe. I have never had a good shoe fail this early.

I have been buying Brooks shoes for more than 20 yrs. The quality has diminished. The inner lining failed in 4 months after 3 times a week treadmill walking. This shoe was only worn for the gym. Brooks advised when I complained it was not a defect but normal wear even though a previous pair lasted for 8 months. Switching to Saucony Redeemer. Fit perfectly right out of the box.

This pair was awesome when it arrived, very comfortable, but they have worn out very quickly. After 2 weeks they started to wear a hole in the heel of both shoes. After 2 months of normal wear the heels have completely disintegrated on the inside.

FLAT FLAT FLAT!! I usually wear Asics for work. I bought the Brooks Ghost 8's and LOVED them. However, I was super disappointed that these don't even stack up, not even close. Back to my Asics...

I've owned these shoes for 6 months and they are already falling apart.

These are very comfortable shoes. They do run at least a half size small and are narrow. I usually wear a 11 - 11 1/2 W. I had to order these in 11 1/2 and 4E xtra wide to fit me. I do wear orthotics with them and it's great that the insole is removable. They do wear out quickly on the bottom. I wear them for walking and generally walk 3 miles per day on pavement. After less than a year the tread was worn down completely on the shoe. Zappos was great and replaced them with a new pair for me at no charge. Otherwise a very good and comfortable shoe. And as always Zappos is great. Great customer service.

I've been wearing custom graphite arch supports for years, but then switched to the Brooks Addiction 11. They were amazing on my 3-5 mile runs and solved my arch problem. After a year or so they wore out so I got the Brooks Addiction 12 as a replacement, figuring it's roughly the same. After 2 years of being off arch supports, I'm now back on. Running hurts. Both shoes got holes on the top near the big toe with < 50 miles of total wear. Thought I found the shoes of my dream, turns out the search is back on.

Have worn Brooks for 15+ yrs. Quality has suffered. Purchased 2 pair of this item in March. Inner lining worn out on one pair after only 3 months use. returning 2nd pair due to poor quality. back to rockports for me.

A piece of the support in the back of the right shoe broke, or got folded down, so that it digs into the back of my heel. I can't fix it because it is sown inside. This made the shoes unwearable, and completely worthless. For this price, the quality control should be better. I will never buy another Brooks shoe again.
