Second pair of these. Had the 11's and they were very good. I like the improvements on the 12's even better. I have a very wide foot, very low arch and am a solid 240lbs. When I wear these they support my arch which straightens my knees and alleviates my knee pain.

My husband loves them. There a little different than other pairs he owns, but finds them just as comfortable. He says that you can't beat Brooks!

Great shoes for flat feet with over pronation Highly recommended

I have used Brooks Addiction walkers as work shoes for 10 years since I developed Plantar Fascitis, but for recreation I have used New Balance. I realized a few months ago that my left foot was over-pronating with the New Balance shoes and I'd have occasional pain in my foot and knees. So, I bought the Brooks Addiction 12 in preparation for a hiking trip to Utah, recognizing that I probably needed more support. These shoes were absolutely fabulous! At the end of 6-7 mile hikes over rocks and sand my feet felt great. No foot pain, no knee pain, no excessive fatigue as in previous hikes with the New Balance. It feels like my legs and back have aligned perfectly now that I only wear Brooks Addiction shoes for work or play.

Bought these for my husband. He loves them and said they felt great right out of the box.

I bought these shoes in black and love them. Extremely comfortable, but stretch out a little too fast...don't really hold their shape as well as they should for the price point. Also, the mesh is very weak on the top of the shoe. My big toe (on one foot) wore through it after about 3 months of normal wear. I had it stitched, but the look is lost, so I have to retire this pair. A little conflicted about a second pair as I don't feel they lasted long enough. That said, probably the most comfortable shoe I have worn in many years.

Comfortable, but for my aching feet the Brooks Addiction 12 is a notch below the NB 840v3 in terms of all day walking comfort. I wear 8.5 2E and on my feet all day. The Brooks are comfortable and would be my everyday shoe if not for the NB 840v3. Toe box on the NB is larger than the Brooks.

I bought these shoes for my husband (he hates to shop). He wears a narrow width and they are exceptionally challenging to find. To my great delight, they fit him perfectly!

I get special sneakers for my husband and I love the service received...one time I had to return sneakers and this was several months later and no problem...have use Zappos for years...great service & company!

I purchased these for my husband. They are the only athletic shoes he will wear. Every few years he tells me to order a new pair from Zappos.

Like a previous reviwer, I have narrow feet, and these seem to be made for me. Good, snug, comfortable fit.

What a great shoe for someone who need pronation control and good stability. Remember, almost all athletic shoes run short and this one is no exception. So for a good fit go up in length and smaller in width that what you measure. I wear a 9.5 wide but the 10.5 med fits and feels great! Can't go wrong with the Brooks brand.

These are extremely comfortable shoes. They have great support and are nice looking too. The legendary Zappos customer service is still true as well. I buy all my shoes from Zappos because they're simply the best!

This is my second pair of this fine Brooks Addiction 12! They give total support and fit to arthritic feet and I'm back walking for exercise every day.

Very comfortable. Ample toebox room, very supportive, and well-made. Every bit as good as any shoes I have ever owned.

Great shoe! Does not quite cup the heel the way the Dyad 8 (same price) does, but other than that fine.

If you have suffered from chronic arch and heel problems including plantar fasciitis these are the shoes for you. I was a delivery driver for years constantly on my feet walking many miles per day and was in pain until I switched to a quality support shoe like this. Add a pair of Easy Feet or Superstep inserts and do some daily stretching of your feet and you will most certainly feel more comfortable walking or running. They do not look clunky either. I have been in pain and discomfort free for about five years now after thinking I would have to cut way down on my mobility. I have also used the Brooks Beast and Addiction Walker with great results. They are expensive but worth it. Cheap shoes are not good for your feet. I am 65 now and getting around great walking and jogging miles per day. Brooks makes great shoes! I do not work for them or sell shoes.

Fast overnight service! My husband loves these sneakers as he has foot problems. These are only sneakers that are both comfortable and supportive. True to size!

This my second pair of Brooks athletic shoes and they both are very comfortable to walk in but the first pair has the netting all the way to the tip of the toe area so it wore a small hole right were my big toe ends, the rest of the shoe if in great shape so that was very disappointing. The addiction 12 has addressed that problem by adding a canvas strip to that area so the toes will not wear through as fast I hope this pair last longer because they are very comfortable.

Great shoe for the over- pronator (ankle wants to roll out away from body). Shoe does a good job of supporting the ankle back inward to center of gravity.

This is the first time that I have purchased something like this online, extremely quick delivery! I like the shoes and considering that I am on my feet for up to eight hours a day they are quite comfortable.

I have purchased Brooks Addictions 10, 11, etc for many years. They are great for my Orthotics, as they are high enough inside for them. But the front of the shoes around the ankle are very stiff when new, so don't make a mistake as I did last summer, when I bent over a lot to weed while watering my friend's garden during our very hot summer, had my laces tried relatively tightly to keep the tongue from moving around- I have odd feet that move them, and ended up limping, as it was too much pressure on the junction of my foot & ankle. (The walkers which I tried- are not same size inside, and didn't work for me!)

Been buying Addiction shoes for years. Previous changes have resulted in narrow shoebox requiring breaking in. This Addiction 12 was perfect right out of the box. Hopefully Brooks will keep this style as is and just change colors from year to year. Hey Brooks - if the shoe is perfect don't mess with it. Bought a second pair as a spare.

The sales representative who helped me was very personable and helpful in returning a pair of shoes that were too small and ordering the correct size. I appreciated her courteous help very much. I was ordering for someone who works for me, thus I can not answer all the items below.

My first pair of 12s and I like the fit, comfort and ventilation. I'm wearing size 10.5/4E width. I wear orthotics with these shoes. If you need black shoes for work etc., then just know that the toe and heel have a small piece of white reflective tape. They are running shoes. I'm happy with them so far (2 weeks) and grateful for the free next day shipping.
