These shoes were what I was looking for. I have always worn New Balance and thanks to the staff at New Balance I was recommended the 813's. I needed an extra support platform and these shoes fit my use perfectly.

Not stylish at all either black or white should be made in USA size would be better

I like the soft grey color and they are so comfortable,I now have four pairs of the soft grey and two pairs of the light beige. Thats enough for me to rotate my wearing. Go New Balance!

I've been wearing the shoes for about 1 week. They are comfortable but I did not expect the stretchy part of the velcro straps. They stretch too far - the strap extends way too far past the shoe velcro. I have to cut the strap... trim it shorter to be able to tighten the shoe enough.

I'm A Disabled Vietnam Vet & My wife is a 6 yr. cancer survivor & We've Never bought any other shoe for walking or running because There isn't any shoe that can even come close to New Balance.

I bought the 813 to take to Europe with me in a few weeks. I wanted a stylish walking shoe since I expect to do a lot of walking when off our river cruise ship. The first time I put these shoes on I knew I had made the right choice. They are super comfortable and very lightweight. I only wish that the brown option came in a narrow width! I would buy those, also.

This has been my shoe of choice for everyday wear for nearly 20 years. An excellent product!

813 walking shoes, All I do is walk in them and they fall apart, you're lucky if you get two months out of these shoes before they start to come apart. I have been buying new balance shoes for a lot of years but over the last year and a half to two years every pair I've bought has been a little worst then the pair before . As soon as I can find another brand that fits right I will never buy new balance again !

Not what I expected. Size too long and not made in America. I've always bought the same size with no problem with made in America styles...

You order your size they come and they fit. They are my all purpose shoe they only exception is I use the black ones for dress.

Had worn the New Balance 575 for years. No longer made. This is the second different model I tried. I have a high instep and the 813 didn't fit me. So, I've returned them.

I bought these for my husband because he is very hard to fit (15 extra, extra wide). These shoes fit him perfectly and were comfortable from the first day. They are sturdy and well made. He is very happy with them. Recommend them.

I love my New Balance shoes. i would never wear anything else!

Normal every day use, like walking........Appearance could be made to "Look" narrower, especially the white shoe, and still maintain function of size 13 wide. The shoe appears a bit too large, kinda like a clowns shoe. Talk to your Designers.

I wish the 928 would go on sale. I bought the 813 instead due to price. Both have roll bar which I need to help balance.

These shoes chewed-up my feet. They are unwearable. A complete waste of money

I walk several miles each morning and this shoe is great .... good fit, comfortable!

Great shoes which provide superior support for walking. Velcro is sturdy. Only complaint is New Balance shipping with UPS. Unacceptably slow shipping, approaching two weeks for last order. The Postal Service delivers in 2-3 days, a much better alternative.

My son is intellectually disabled and needs velcro closure. This shoe not only allows him to put his own shoes on, but they give GREAT support for his feet.
