My husband loves his shoes! He does a lot of walking and needs them for comfort. We both love black leather upper /walking/tennis shoes. We hope you never quit making the black leather upper styles for men and women shoes.

Had to return. Was very narrow for a 6E shoe. Very tight in the sole as well.

On my feet a lot and these shoes offer good support but also are lightweight. Help with the knee pain.

Bought these for my son in black. He has been wearing black New Balance shoes for several years, so I purchased the size he usually wears. They didn't fit.

Since before Christmas I have been trying to order the 577 walking shoe but it is never in stock, not just in my size but in most sizes. My current 577's have lasted years but are now held together with Gorilla Glue so I ordered the 813's, supposedly a step up. They arrived quickly and are my size but are too short. They cannot be worn with any degree of comfort. I am returning them and will buy something locally that, while not what I want, at least will be comfortable.

I have worn New Balance walking shoes for years on the advice of my podiatrist. Since before Christmas I tried to order the 577 model but it is continually out of stock, not only in my size but in most sizes. My current 577's have lasted years but are now held together with gorilla glue so I broke down and ordered the 813's, what should have been the next step up. They are my size and look nice but are too short and cannot be worn comfortably. Since I can't wait any longer I will go to a store and buy something cheap but comfortable that won't last long.

I tried these for work. After the second day I bought a pair if boots instead. These were not comfortable and don't breathe so wearing them isn't fun.

I bought these sneakers prior to rotator cuff surgery to make it easy for me to "tie" my sneakers with one hand. I've been breaking them in and am satisfied with the fit and comfort.

Very comfortable and easy toput on and remove, stable under foot.

I've had mixed results with NB shoes, the widths are NOT consistent. These shoes are wide enough, so I'm happy with them, but remain skeptical about NB consistency on widths.

Despite having worn New Balance 8.5 4E shoes for over 25 years, I could not get a good fit and had to return two pair. I tried a third time with a different style that seemed a little long, but tired of sending back and forth I decided to put on extra thick socks and walk a few miles. Unfortunately, I developed a large blister on the ball of my left foot so I have put then aside until I can think of something else (inserts?)--and the blister heals. As I wore them, I cannot in good faith send them back. So lesson learned. If I cannot find a store where I can try several sizes on, then I will wait rather then use mail order again.

I have been a New Balance shoe wearer for almost 25 years. I was recommended by my podiatrist. I continue to wear them exclusively. However, I hope they start making them in beige, black and the first color I purchased... GRAY. Please get them in these colors in my size soon!!!

I work in a busy IT office with a large campus to support and I walk a ton. These shoes are great as they can be worn with business attire and you can still have the comfort of a walking shoe.

This is a replacement shoe. Loved the last pairs in the past. Still do!

I've been wearing the 813 for many years. It is a comfortable shoe. Great for walking and anything else I do.

Great fit and lateral support. The hook and loop makes it really easy to put on and take off.

need extra wide, found out 5e fits like normal 6e.

Really comfortable light weight shoes. Looks to be quality made.
