These shoes run WIDE and LONG. They look nice and are a nicely built shoe but next time I would order a size 10 instead of 11 and the standard width instead of wide. I have worn 11 single wide for years and ordered per my history. That is the problem you run into when ordering on line instead of trying them on first....

My boyfriend says these are the most comfortable shoe he's ever had on.

I needed xtra wide shoe with an xtra wide toe box, this one fits the bill, very comfortable. Don't always find those two features together. 13 6E.

I had two pairs of 993 walking shoes. They were better than the 813 - more comfortable and more support

I've worn these for a couple of weeks, and they still make noise with every step. They ae not as comfortable as the 577 (which, unfortunately, were not available in my size).

My husband has always loved these high quality shoes. He does not have full use of his hands and these are an answer to our prayers

I'm a senior and have trouble finding comfortable shoes. These oxfords are extra wide and I am enjoying wearing them because they love my feet.

Feels like it's made with cheap materials, I don't see them lasting very long. Way ever priced.

These are my third pair of 813s. I like them for their fit and light weight on my reconstructed feet. I also have a pair of 990s and of 928s which also are well made and fit well. But the 813s just meet my taste the best. I wish all of them came in an 8E for my ever widening feet.

These are really good walking shoes. I honestly couldn't ask for better ones. Toe box may be a bit small if you have large toes.

I couldn't ask for a better walking shoe. These are made of durable leather. Could be a little more comfortable, but overall a solid 4.9/5.

Have purchased New Balance 813 a few times and like product. Last purchase was sent the wrong size. Not satisfied with length of time to receive refund!

The shoe fits my left foot which is in a drop toe brace. The right shoe fits a bit lose, be cause the shoe strings are about 2 inches to small. In order to utilize both holes at the top of the sneaker. To tie laces in the Heal lock fashion. In order to make a more snug fit. Laces should be about 2 inches longer.

I first bought an 11.5 4E. It was too narrow. I spoke to customer service and was told that the 12 4E was a half an inch wider. So I exchanged the shoes. The 12 4E was just as narrow as the 11.5 4E. Customer service is usually helpful but not in this case.

My husband is 78 years old with double hip replacement and a very short very wide foot. Shoes are hard to find and stores don't carry a 7 EEEE. He has worn this style for over 20 years. Please don't discontinue this size and style. There is just no where else to get him shoes.

My hubby uses these shoes for work at Disney World in Florida. He's on his feet all day. He also has the worst bunions so the 6E width helps with those bunions

The first order we received was the wrong size. When I spoke to the New Balance agent he was very helpful. They would send the correct size and lower the price because of the mistake. He also emailed me a return shipping label. The new order arrived and fit fine. However, I mailed the first order almost two weeks ago and my account has not yet been credited.

I have to replace shoes often after 1991 and on a retirement income the price is right

They are the best purchase in shoes I ever made. They fit perfectly. I am on my feet a lot and they give my feet and legs good support. I have bought 2 pairs and getting ready to purchase my third.
