These are the first pairs of New Balance shoes which are truly uncomfortable. Previous shoes worked lovely, these do not.

My first two toes of my left foot (only) hit the front of the shoe making them unwearable. I have worn a size 7 my entire life with no problems and in fact, ended up buying a size 7 in another brand that fit perfectly. This was defective manufacturing and cost me the return postage. I assume I will get a refund but only for the shoes. DO NOT buy these shoes.

I wore the shoes once, for a short while, in my house, and ended up with a blister on my left foot.

I have only worn these shoes about a dozen times. The back of one shoe has collapsed into itself and does not fit my heel anymore. It is no longer comfortable to wear. I have never had this experience before with new Balance and am very unhappy about it.

I have worn first the 810, 811, 812 for many years. They were the perfect walking shoe for me. But the 813 was a drastic change. What was once a good shoe isn't any more. It is absolutely nothing like the prior shoes; I returned them because I felt there were unwearable and very cheaply made. This is the first shoe I have ever bought from NB (and I have bought at least 25 pairs) that was not made in the United States; maybe that is the problem?? Now I'm hunting for a good shoe to wear everyday like I used to with the 810, 811, 812. I can't say it runs small or large because the entire fit was so very bad.

I had to return this shoe. It was ordered in my size, but the toes hit the top of the shoe and was too snug. When I got a half size up, the toe still was rubbing on the top front. When held up to my other two different models of New Balance shoes, the toe on this 813 looks like it slopes down more, but the length was the same. I did like the tread being more open, so little stones and fir needles won't get caught on the sole, but this is not made like any shoe I ever had. The all leather is the reason I got these, and they didn't have that mesh on the outside that dirt clings to and is hard to clean. I had to exchange these for the new 928v3, which is a normal fit and is working out well after a week of use. I cannot recommend this shoe.

Supposedly 813 replaced 812 but my last 812 was made in USA and total comfort. The new 813 is made in Indonesia and is of very poor quality! Absolutely NO PADDING! Will not purchase again and do not recommend for a walking shoe.

Nice shoes, well made , unfortunately, due to issues with my feet, I've returned the shoes. Currently awaiting a refund

sinse broke my ankel look for long time only type shoes can wear and looking for them on sale. this shoes work great for my feet as stong my feet as work in a kitchen

These are the best tennis shoes, I try to walk every day 4 miles, they are leather and they have extra stabilizer in the back ! I have been wearing this style for years I hope they never get rid of it!!!

Great service and great shoes, unfortunately they were too small and it was the largest size available in that particular shoe so I had to return them.

I am older and cannot tie my own shoes. I purchased a special type of shoe lace that does not need tied and I can make it work. But it would be better if you had a slip on with this stability.

This pair is replacing an old pair, I love these shoes. It provides support, comfort and hold my foot in place when heavy lifting. These among the few options for narrow feet available.

I use it for everything. It gives me total support!

After three major back surgeries I needed a sports shoe that did NOT have laces. This shoe is wonderful for my balance and stability. I own two pairs and they fit my orthotics well.

I love New Balance 813 shoes. The toe box is high and wide enough to accommodate my braces. Trouble is I've been having trouble finding them

My birthday sneakers for my mom because of the velcro closures and they're really made nice they are perfect fit for her

Haven't worn them yet. I start massage therapy school Monday. But new balance has never disappointed me.

A shoe I have used for many years. New Balance is the best orthotic sneaker that I have ever had. It enables me to work 12 hr shifts with no structural pain. Fits my orthotic inserts perfectly also.
