Very comfortable and I love the arch support. Very true to size.

I am a teacher and do a good bit of standing. Not only do these shoes have cushion but the extra support of motion control is a real plus. I used to buy the 928 until they got so expensive. These do fine.

I've worn this shoe for years, but just moved up to a size 11 D. My old ones are garden shoes and I felt my toes being scrunched, so I bought another 11 and moved my pretty new ones to the garden. Expensive, but at least my feet won't hurt, as my knees already do!!!

I have worn this shoe since it was 810, then 811, then 812 and now 813. It has a nice wide toe box and stabilizing roll bar. I have full sole orthotics and my 10 1/2 D was feeling tight on my big toe. I guess my feet have grown with age. So I purchased these 11D. They are comfortable.

I really like these shoes. They are great for all-day wear, working out, and walking long distances.

I bought these in 2015 and still wear them in 2017. They are starting to cause issues as the inner sole is breaking down and causes a squeaking sound. I have replaced the inserts a couple of times because I like them soft and with more arch support.

These shoes are "OK" so far. They are not perfect for me, but hopefully will break-in and be comfortable. I do have to use my own orthotics and that seemed to make them less comfortable than I am used to when I first put on a New Balance shoe. I have very wide feet and problem feet, so I need the widest woman's size and lately there is almost NOTHING to chose from. I was desperate so I did purchase the only one that had a width I need, but it is far from what I wanted. My local store even has nothing to chose from, and I guess they cannot order like we used to. I have only purchased NB for a long time, but it looks like I will need to do some research for some other brand. Not sure why they limit the wide widths so much in color and style even normally, and now...nothing to pick from. I am disappointed.

These shoes are white with gray trim. Not silver, which is fine with me. I ordered a 7.5 extra wide, which is what my old New Balance shoes are. The new ones are shorter, like a 7 instead of a 7.5. Wide enough but too short.

I have always had big, wide, and fat size 11 feet. This past year I have been dealing with changes to my body causing my feet and legs to swell something awful. Due to this issue, I can never find a pair of shoes to fit me and if I do, they just are not comfortable. I have always been a woman who loves her sneakers and this has really been a hard process for me to adjust too bc I enjoy having nice new shoes regularly. It's the worse feeling ever to NEED shoes, pay good money for a pair, and then they dont fit. I've literally cried several times over this whole shoes situation. So I decided to research sneaker brands that would maybe fit me. After spending every bit of $500+ on shoes, I have came to the conclusion that New Balance sneakers 813 XX WIDE fit are one of the ONLY shoes to fit my feet. I want to add that they dont fit super comfortable (a 3x wide would be AMAZING if possible), but they are the only shoe that I can find that will fit me. I give these shoes a 85% out of 100%. Everything is great. I just wish that New Balance had these in a XXX-wide.
I hope this review helps shoppers that have issues with feet like mine.

I have been buying the New Balance 813 for several years. It is a comfortable walking sneaker for running errands, going to Broadway Shows, current events, etc.

I have had other pairs of the 813 in 8 narrow. I like the gray color and the roomy toe area. The only thing I don't like is that the tongue of this pair is much too long, longer than in the past, and it's hard to lace up the last laces so it's comfortable. The tongue sticks out like a flap when these are laced up.

The shoe looked really good and nothing "orthopedic"; unfortunately, there was not enough room for my orthotics, even with the extra wide version. The shoe is able to be laced really tight, especially if you use the extra set of holes.

I talked with a rep from New Balance and he told me this shoe was the closest to the old NB 928 since the NB 928 v2 is not comfortable due to changes. This shoe is good but when I walk in it my foot slips down toward the toe even with my orthotic in so it does not work for me It is also not as cushioned as I need.

I have very wide feet and usually purchase New Balance shoes in this size, however, this shoe was too small for me. I have gained weight and have not been wearing fitted shoes, therefore, I believe, that too has contributed to my feet adjusting again to a wider width.

This pair didn't seem to be a "pair" at all. One shoe was perfect. Got it on and then picked up the other shoe that arrived in the same box. Immediately I felt a stitch folded inside along the "toe" side of the shoe. That didn't hurt when I got it on, so no big deal. But then the shoe string was so short I could not possibly tie the shoe. I am wondering if this "pair" wasn't returned once at least already and she strings switched. And I also understood New Balance was made in the USA, where it clearly says on the tongue "made in Indonesia". Zappos did fine. No problem with you!!

I always get the same NB #813 and have walked thousands of miles in them. I recently got a new pair of the same size and width and walked a few miles but on the first day my left ankle felt very sore. After 2 days the middle toe on my left foot hurt so bad I could not walk. It was badly bruised and raw. I do not know if the problems can be related to the new shoes or if it was just coincidental .

These are shoes that I purchase every other year or so, and I use them for walking. After just one wearing, they caused a blister on my somewhat large bunion (I always order a width of 4E). I don’t recall having this big a problem with past shoes of identical style, so I’m waiting to heal before I (cautiously) go back to them.

First the positive-they seemed very comfortable at first.
Then, I walked in them "outside". My knee has a problem and it hurt really bad. I couldn't maintain my balance well. The foot slide around in the shoe (which isn't lined as they used to) and rubbed. Very disappointed. And, to add, the leather looked cheap and the style outdated (especially when you look down at the feet-looks like a duck is walking). But, I am stuck with them since I walked outside. Did I add, they weren't cheap.
Trying another style. Ordered too small and now am hung up in waiting to return (3-5 days) and answers to qustions. What is happening since you became owned by someone else?

I pronate, and i like how this shoe supports my foot. However the tongue is too long! It climbs up my foot and irritates the bones on top. Disappointing!
