I chose this shoe for winter so I can change shoes quickly at the gym. This is my first pair of hook and loop style. They fit well and feel good while I am exercising or walking. They look nice. They look like they are smaller than my regular shoes but they are not. I am concerned that the elastic that holds the tab may wear out more quickly than the shoe. Since this is my first shoe of this type, we will see.

So far so good. The are comfortable and I look forward to using them for a long time. I wish they came in beige.

Wanted a good, comfortable walking shoe. Ordered half a size longer to accommodate heavier socks and more room for my old toes. Usually wear a medium width, but the medium felt alittle snug in toebox. Kept the shoe that was ahalf size longer than I normally wear and a wide width. I have elderly feet, post one bunionectomy and plantar fasciitis. Comfort and support is important to me. Heel is slightly loose, but overall felt comfortable from initially trying them on. Are they high style? No, but kind of cute in an old school, funky way. For me-it's the walk. NB generally feel good on my feet.

These were good right out of the box although a half size up would be better with thick socks. Not really a problem for me and they are great support for walking. I will buy in white for summer ...

I have a difficult time finding walking shoes that are comfortable and supportive. These shoes are both for me. They keep my feet pain free. They are not attractive shoes but my priority is to keep my feet in healthy shape.

I was disappointed in the stiffness of the leather - My other New Balance shoes are much softer. I debated about returning them, but I'd worn them outside so will keep them to wear in bad weather and thus save my more expensive walking shoes.

I work in a doctor's office, and am on my feet a lot. My New Balance 813 sneakers are comfortable and provide ample stability. The only down side is the website told me that the size I wore with my last NB sneakers would be the same size I would order, but they are snug. I should have gone 1/2 size bigger

They are for a 96 year old, but get her good stability and a clean look.

Previous similar shoes had leather lining the inside of the tongue, which made sliding it on very easy. Unfortunately, this version of the shoe has cloth lining the tongue, which catches on your socks and pulls them up very tight around the toes, especially when the shoe is new. Makes everything so difficult; I don't like this feature!!!

I have worn the 811s for several years, and especially liked the raised toe. But those shoes are not available anymore so I bought the 813s. They don't have a raised toe, and even though I went up 1/2 size, my toes seem to be at the front. I haven't decided whether to keep them yet. I've tried so many other shoes and styles and none of them worked. These are the closest to the 811s and I've been trying different inner soles and orthotics to see if I can make both feet comfortable. Wish I could find a sneaker-type walking shoe with a raised toe. That would solve everything!

I chose these because of the rollbar technology - they are more comfortable than some of the others I've had before!

I use my new balance walking shoes every day, this new version 3 fits as good as the old version 1 of the 928. Good thing they came to their senses and brought it back. This version would have 5 stars if it didn't come with the mesh on the edges, which dirties up too quickly, AND, they still have the same small lines in the tread that pick up every pine needle and every gravel bit from my walks. Those should be addressed. The toe box is roomy, and it allows space upwards for my toes, unlike the 813 new balance, which I tried but had to return for that design issue. This model is true to my size and when held up to my old 928v1 is the same length. I don't use the footbed, since I remove it for my orthotics, but this original footbed seems to be made of rubber, unlike the old version, which could make this a very hot shoe. I had to contact a manager to apply my credits for this shoe, but otherwise it arrived on time and the 813 I returned was credited to my purchase.

Solid shoe was a bit stiff, but with good support and rollbar. More pricey than others that fit my bunion better.

Nice looking, a little bulky around the instep. Not thrilled with support but overall it's a good sturdy shoe.

The shoes are good for my wife who had diabetes. But the color was to be white and they were an off white almost a very pale grey.

This shoe has good support. I like the look of the toe although the style gives a little less room for toes. The roll bar should be good for any pronation problems while walking.

For a 4E New Balance, these were surprisingly tight and narrow. Sadly returning. They were on sale so really bummed. It's not easy finding inexpensive super wide shoes.

I have purchased the 813 White New Balance Walking shoe over and over. While I was a fan of the 811 and 812 I am happy with the fit as I am a ww. I have read other reviews for this product and can't understand the negative. I ONLY HAVE POSITIVE for the shoes. Everyone is different but for me it is an excellent show for the money. New Balance has discontinued this shoe so I am anxious to see what is next.
