I bought these for a trip to the Boundary Waters this summer but when I got them I decided they were cute enough to wear to school too. They don't look so "outdoorsy" that I felt strange wearing them indoors too. I think Columbia runs a bit small for pants so I ordered up and they fit perfectly.

Runs small

Love these b/c they are available in the long length. They do "2-way comfort stretch" but there is zero stretch in the waistband and they run small imho so I had to go a size up. Would have given a 5 start rating if the waistband was 2-way stretch.

So far so good, I plan to wear these for a hiking trip we will see how they hold up.

These pants are excellent - extremely flattering! However, I ordered my normal size (4) and they were much tighter than expected. I recommend sizing up if you can. I'll try the Size 6 next because I loved these pants so much!

I love the Saturday Trail capris and needed some new pants. These are great like the capris, but the legs roll up to be snapped by tabs that are inside the leg to snaps on the outside. I really dislike the tabs rubbing on my legs.

Somewhat lightweight pant with a fit that would accommodate a base layer in cold weather. Not quite as nice as the ones with the zip-off legs but a close second. Wish the front pockets were deeper, but a good all-round pant for every day or for travel since they are light and easy-care.

I found these pants to run true to size. The fabric is lightweight and comfortable - the perfect hiking pant.

These run a little small. I am 5'6" 130 lb I usually wear an 8 comfortably but I had to return them. They fit but were a little tight. I ordered the 10 which was a little big but kept them. I used these for hiking and they worked great, except by the end they had grown a little more. Maybe I should of kept the 8. I also love the tall length and wish all Columbia pants were available in tall.

These pants feel well-made, move with me, and breathe really well! I went on a bike ride on a hot day and didn't feel constricted by the long fabric as well. My only wish would be for the roll up option to secure a little more effectively.

I usually don't like pants that can be converted to capris but these are a different story. When you don't have them rolled up as capris the strap doesn't bother your leg at all. These have a defined waist and sit a little higher than I normally wear but I really like them.

Echoing all the other reviewers who said size up. Got an 8 instead of a 6, and they fit perfectly. I've worn them hiking twice now, and the fabric is light and dries quickly. The only thing I don't love is that the top snap is very tight and sometimes hard to unfasten.

First time that I have purchased these and I love them!

These pants are nearly perfect. True to size for, lots of stretch that makes them really comfortable for scrambling over boulders, quick drying, and the convertible style makes them useful over a wide range of temperatures. But the hip pockets are a total fail. Everything falls out of them. These pants would be perfect if they would only redesign the pockets so they retain things.

Very nice pants & love the versatility of rolling the legs to capri length. Gave them a 4 because they run a little small. I've found that Columbia pants sizing is very inconsistent so probably won't be ordering pants again unless I've been able to try on a style in a store.

I love Columbia pants but these were too tight in the waist. I wear a size six and couldn't comfortably button them. I will be returning for a larger size.

These pants are lightweight and extremely comfortable! The only reason I deducted one star is because, while the pants fit great around my hips and thighs, the waistband is a little too large (though this is probably because I'm pear-shaped with a small waist and wide hips). This isn't a deal-breaker since I can just wear a belt with the pants, so ultimately, I decided to keep the pants. For reference, my measurements are 32.5"-26.5"-37.5", my weight is 115 pounds, and my height is 5'3". I ordered a size 4 short, and the length of the short inseam is perfect for my stature.

These run small, so I can't really say what the comfort level was. They didn't fit.

I bought these pants to hike the waterfalls at Yosemite because it gets super misty. The pants protected me from getting wet. It is a light material. I just wished they had like tights in this material because these are straight leg.

Great for hikes, and travel as well. I ordered a size 2, Fits very well.

I have pair of these pants which I bought a year ago, and still wear regularly. They look good, are very comfy, and hold up on long trips. I liked them so much I bought 2 more pairs in different colors, but the sizing is different and the new ones are too small. The fabric of the new pants is also a little thinner. I hate it when a company doesn't have good quality control and you can't count on repeating a purchase.

Like its active fit. Runs a bit small. Needs to order a size up. Minimal stretch.

Fit is good except in the waist for me. I am not too heavy but not flat in the tummy as I was in my youth so the waist is too tight. I don't wear tucked in shirts as a rule and most certainly it would not be an option with this pair of pants. The fanny is pretty good although I have not yet worn them for a day. I bought them for an upcoming trip. The thighs fit great. I usually wear a regular length pant but had to return this for a long length. I used to be 5'7" but now am 5'6" so was surprised! The pants are cute and look good with a shirt not tucked on me! There is some stretch to them so I feel they will be comfortable for sitting, hiking, etc. on my trip to Washington to see my newly married daughter in June. It is also a huge plus that they have the "roll up" feature!

The fit was right on, according to your measurement guide. Only reason I gave it 3 stars was because I wished the rise measurement was a little longer, but it’s just me.

I usually wear an 8 but went up to a 10 after reading the reviews....the 10 fit fine...the long is not exceptionally long but long enough....the fabric is great and I liked the style....but...these are long pants, not tall....so the rise is not long enough....think camel toe....I really wanted to like them but back they go
